I believe that one and Ambience are the real winners since literally most of the Loud House fanfic is just copied and pasted wiki articles without credit. And it uses ai in recent chapters. It's obvious the guy making it is just deranged and wants to cling to having "the longest fanfiction ever" without having any talent or actual dedication.
I once wrote a message to this guy directly 2 years ago about this fanfic and its word record. "Thank you very much. But I'm not in this for a world record or any of the fame or fortune. It's all about fun" That was his response.

It is probably a group effort right? get 1000 and each person read 2 pages, you cluster the people on the same chapter together and after you cluster the chapters. No sense is lost because there is no sense to begin with

Also the self inserts technically aren’t real cartoon characters Edit: Imagine if several people came together to make the biggest cartoon crossover ever, putting their favorite cartoons in (self inserts and OCs not included). I usually prefer more obscure characters that don’t get mentioned a lot, so if there is a giant crossover, I hope they get mentioned

Out of curiosity, I googled the fic and found it (it's real). Turns out, the author is also writing a SEQUEL to this fic, called "The Loud House Revamped 2: Embodiment". The very first sentences of the sequel's blurb was "Sequel to Loud House Revamped. Xehanort is gone. But now, a new threat has struck." It's already at over 4,000,000 words. I'm in tears. This author is a menace.

I think my favorite part about this that the title “The Loud House: Revamped” at first glance gives the impression that this is supposed to be a reimagining of The Loud House but with the author’s personal improvements like better characterization or more cohesive stories. Granted, depending on your point of view the addition of every fictional (and even nonfictional) character in existence could be seen as an improvement, but it’s certainly not the first thing you would think of.

Speaking as someone who listens to audiobooks of classics at work The Divine Comedy is not that long clocking in at 10 hours which is slightly on the longer side but compared to epic fantasy books like The Stormlight Archive or The Wheel of Time which have entries clocking in at 50 Hours.

Published on Feburary 21, 2024, and last updated on July 18 (from the day of this message). It already has 66 chapters and 3,878,343 words. 7 years of torture is doomed to repeat itself. And all we can do is watch it unfold.

I decided to go to a random chapter (1007) to see how insane this series gets. Here’s a little excerpt from it: “I snapped my fingers and Aqua was groaning in excruciating pain. Aqua was on the floor in pain as she was about to transform. Aang: Aqua! Are you ok? Aqua: Not... really! (starts to grow) Ventus and Sora were comforting her. Her skin turned blue and her eyes turned yellow with black sclera. Her hands turned into fins. Aqua: My hands are fins! Her hair fell out. Aqua: There goes my hair! Her clothes ripped and her legs turned into a fin and she had two fins grow from her back. She had red lines form on her skin. Her body turned into that of KYOGRE!”
I don't think it's deranged. The dude found a hobby he enjoyed and dedicated himself to it. Id say that's pretty admirable imo. Quality is probably trash but he had fun doing something he likes.
Disappointing fact: The reason this fanfiction is so long, is because they edited scripts from the Loud House to make it. You’ll notice some parts are formatted like a book whereas others look like a script, because they cut apart the script. Also, most plot points are very similar to what happens in the actual show. TLDR: The majority of the fan fiction isn’t actually written by the them, it’s cut parts of scripts from the actual show that are slightly edited.

It’s not just the fact that they erase Peter from existence. They first dedicate multiple chapters, and parts of some other chapters, to torturing Peter and Lois in public, with their methods being some of the worst things you could ever do to another person. This is being done because they abused Meg. Okay, abuse is bad, it’s very bad, but everything the “protagonists” do to them is WAY worse by comparison. Then, in an act that invalidates the concept of making a tough decision, the author sacrifices Peter and Lois to the Red Skull in order to get the Soul Stone without having to erase one of his loved ones. In other words, the fic isn’t complete GARBAGE… it’s THE ABSOLUTE LOWEST FORM OF GARBAGE.

Extra fun fact about Sherlock Hound: Halfway through the fic, he obtains the spirit of Sparda from Devil May Cry, gaining his powers essentially, and in one of the last hundreds of chapters, Vergil returns, getting the attention of Dante, before Sherlock intervenes.
Some stats, just to drive home the point. "The Loud House: Revamped" (6 Nov 2017 - 20 Feb 2024) has 2328 chapters and approximately 31.5 million words (the website only says 16777215 words, but that's because that is the highest hex number it can display, FFFFFF). And the literal next day after completion, on 21 Feb 2024, he started writing the sequel, "The Loud House Revamped 2: Embodiment", which currently totals 68 chapters and 4 million words. The most recent chapter was added 2 days ago, on 20 July 2024. He cannot be stopped. The longest novel, in the conventional sense, is arguably "Artamène", written by Madeleine de Scudéry (1607-1701), with close to 2 million words. The full Bible (which in reality is 66 smaller books) is about 800 000 words. It could be argued that "The Loud House: Revamped" is really a serial (not one big book, but rather chapter-length chunks of text published regularly). Then you could argue that the German sci-fi series Perry Rhodan (approx. 90-150 million words) is longer. But to be fair, Perry Rhodan has been going on since 1961 up until today, with multiple teams of authors. Just for reference, the entire Star Wars Legends (old Star Wars EU) has around 130 million words, and the totality of Warhammer 40K is at least half that.

I have been scarred from this and will continue skimming chapters to see what else happens in this anomaly
Plankton took over the Krusty Krab? I thought he got turned into an idiot, and when he resisted that long enough in order to attack the (still Mr. Krabs controlled) Krusty Krab with his Sponge Out of Warter arsenal (the jet, the tank, and the robot from the WWII parody), he got banished into space. Also, Mr. Krabs was eventually released from prison and allowed to rejoin JD’s army of the damned… because he ran out of ways to replace Ol’ Eugene in the plots of his SpongeBob rip-off chapters. However, Squidward WAS given a terrible prison sentence, and was treated as subhuman all because he was grumpy.

In that chapter, Mr. Krabs was released on probation, so he could get stuck in a toilet all over again, begging his enemy to not read the secret formula. (By the way, replacing Plankton with Alternate Insane Krabs kind of ruins one of the best jokes in the episode. Now Mr. Krabs can’t say “You planted grass?”.)

I think my favorite part about this that the title “The Loud House: Revamped” at first glance gives the impression that this is supposed to be a reimagining of The Loud House but with the author’s personal improvements like better characterization or more cohesive stories. Granted, depending on your point of view the addition of every fictional (and even nonfictional) character in existence could be seen as an improvement, but it’s certainly not the first thing you would think of.

You’ll notice some parts are formatted like a book whereas others look like a script, because they cut apart the script. Also, most plot points are very similar to what happens in the actual show.
TLDR: The majority of the fan fiction isn’t actually written by the them, it’s cut parts of scripts from the actual show that are slightly edited.

It’s not just the fact that they erase Peter from existence. They first dedicate multiple chapters, and parts of some other chapters, to torturing Peter and Lois in public, with their methods being some of the worst things you could ever do to another person. This is being done because they abused Meg. Okay, abuse is bad, it’s very bad, but everything the “protagonists” do to them is WAY worse by comparison. Then, in an act that invalidates the concept of making a tough decision, the author sacrifices Peter and Lois to the Red Skull in order to get the Soul Stone without having to erase one of his loved ones. In other words, the fic isn’t complete GARBAGE… it’s THE ABSOLUTE LOWEST FORM OF GARBAGE.

Some stats, just to drive home the point. "The Loud House: Revamped" (6 Nov 2017 - 20 Feb 2024) has 2328 chapters and approximately 31.5 million words (the website only says 16777215 words, but that's because that is the highest hex number it can display, FFFFFF).
And the literal next day after completion, on 21 Feb 2024, he started writing the sequel, "The Loud House Revamped 2: Embodiment", which currently totals 68 chapters and 4 million words. The most recent chapter was added 2 days ago, on 20 July 2024. He cannot be stopped.
The longest novel, in the conventional sense, is arguably "Artamène", written by Madeleine de Scudéry (1607-1701), with close to 2 million words. The full Bible (which in reality is 66 smaller books) is about 800 000 words.
It could be argued that "The Loud House: Revamped" is really a serial (not one big book, but rather chapter-length chunks of text published regularly). Then you could argue that the German sci-fi series Perry Rhodan (approx. 90-150 million words) is longer. But to be fair, Perry Rhodan has been going on since 1961 up until today, with multiple teams of authors. Just for reference, the entire Star Wars Legends (old Star Wars EU) has around 130 million words, and the totality of Warhammer 40K is at least half that.

Plankton took over the Krusty Krab? I thought he got turned into an idiot, and when he resisted that long enough in order to attack the (still Mr. Krabs controlled) Krusty Krab with his Sponge Out of Warter arsenal (the jet, the tank, and the robot from the WWII parody), he got banished into space. Also, Mr. Krabs was eventually released from prison and allowed to rejoin JD’s army of the damned… because he ran out of ways to replace Ol’ Eugene in the plots of his SpongeBob rip-off chapters. However, Squidward WAS given a terrible prison sentence, and was treated as subhuman all because he was grumpy.

In that chapter, Mr. Krabs was released on probation, so he could get stuck in a toilet all over again, begging his enemy to not read the secret formula. (By the way, replacing Plankton with Alternate Insane Krabs kind of ruins one of the best jokes in the episode. Now Mr. Krabs can’t say “You planted grass?”.)
