Every star changes the gravity multiplier (can be a decimil) (sets to random value each time but the more stars the the higher chance of it going further from 1(base))
psa that spinning before a ground pound makes it a homing attack

both formats are good in their own right, though if this current format allows for more videos he might as well stick with it
This format is different from the one you previously used, but the type of challenge you use it with is, too.
Although this video is kind of in the format of a challenge video, it's pretty likely the game is beatable this way from the start. The fun comes mainly from seeing your reaction to the absurdly high speeds, which this format is really good for.
Some other challenges, like the one you did where you tried to beat TOTK shrines without using right-arm abilities are different. They really are a test to see if it is possible at all to reach a goal with such limitations. It's more interesting to see you explain exactly what you did or had to do afterwards, so the format you used there is still the best for that specific challenge.
So, you should vary between the two! Both are great to watch if you use them right :)
You could totally do this but scale the power of all other moves too, jumps, spin jump / force applied to enemies and objects, ground pound speed, idk what else

Mario galaxy itself makes me rage with annoying levels and gravity being gravity but with a speed boost, I would be in literal hell trying to 100% the game because I like to 100% games.

You should try this for Super Mario 64, it might be more challenging than Mario Galaxy

Is this the wii version? Looks like wii version with an HD texture pack so Dolphin? Probably the easiest to mod it.
And if on dolphin what controller you using? I'm guessing something you don't have to shake to spin but that you can still use motion for the pointer
Yep, Dolphin with an HD texture pack. A sensor bar is hard to incorporate into my setup so I used an Xbox controller and mapped spin to a button and the pointer to the right stick.
@@Drengodr daaang I'm impressed you can control the pointer that well with the stick. You don't actually need a sensor bar. I don't know if the Xbox controller has motion controls but what I use for wii games with motion on dolphin is a switch controller with DS4 Windows which has a DSU client to simulate motion. It's not hard to set up and feels nice for me. Still use shake mapped to a button though.

im like 90% sure u used that ai music splicer thing and honestly thas p cool its a rlly useful tool lol
You're the first to pick up on that! It doesn't work perfectly, but it did give me some extra flexibility while editing the audio so there weren't constant cuts to the background music throughout the video.
