LOL. I almost died there!
The cardboard gun is the Degle .50 (sic), and it comes from the game "Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades" which is a VR firearms simulator with a ridiculous premise. The Degle in particular was added on April Fools 2018 with mouthmade sound effects from the lead developer himself.
Funnily enough, the game's signature "Take & Hold" gamemode has a character based on Gordon Freeman (named "Welldone Freemeat") with weapons added to mimic the arsenal of Half-Life 2 (I.E. a USP Match in 9mm, an MP7A1 with an underslung GP-25 grenade launcher and unique reflex sight, etc.)

I loved your videos and it's always good to give people a another chance after what happen.
So fun fact; you got the Cardboard Gun which is from Hotdogs Horseshoes and Hand Grenades (abbv. H3VR) which is a VR game about firearms, explosions, and killing sausages. The cardboard gun is just the Degle .50 from the game. All of the sounds are Anton Hand (the developer for H3VR) making gun noises iirc. It's a fun little bit of trivia.

Hey, i had that weird bug about the invisible metal barrier, it's the shields mods, disable or uninstall the Doge's Shields and the original ArcCW ballistic shield.
When you got stuck behind the characters that wouldn't move you could've used the barrel to prop hop
This isn't the actual half-life 2 game itself. It's the maps in Garry's Mod, with several addons installed.
Garry's Mod doesn't have all the same bugs, glitches, and exploits as Half-Life 2. Like, you can't B-Hop in Garry's Mod.
Though, yes, some Half-Life 2 bugs are also present in Garry's mod... I don't think prop hopping is one of them.

ArcCW weapons and TFA weapons do a *lot* more damage than the balanced Half-Life 2 weapons. If you want less damage from the NPCs. There is a multiplier setting that you can turn down.

I think you should have used some configurations in the Q menu to lower damage because damage in arccw is *skull emoji*.

you can press F6 to save in HL2 and in Gmod and you're load button should be F9 by default but you can change the key in settings i have it set as F7 because it's more Easy

I've passed hl2 and episode 2 and almost episode 1.This does not get better.
ep 2 works fine but for episode 1 (with some working animations) you have to install animation fix addon. Some maps don't work properly so you have to save (just write in console "save " and for load you have to "load " on previous map so you go in correctly. Map autosaves work.
In episode 2 only final battle broke twice, once because strider was sent flying by antlion guard, secondly because dropship spawned possessed and couldn't go where it should.

Is there any way to get ArcCW weapons to spawn naturally in the HL2 campaign or do you need to use sandbox mode?
There should be a setting that allows NPCs to use them and that also makes them replace normal guns found on the ground

17:00 you can actually make saves, in this game. Press 12 or q, to open up the spawn menu, and go to the very right. You should find a tab labeled "saves". Click there, and you'll probably figure out the rest on your own. Just gotta click new save, i think. Haven't used the feature in a while, though.

Entity variations x has a variation called detonation, if if that npc doesn't die like kleiner then it goes on forever
