    if your focus is bad its because you need to go into menu row 4 and select " MOUNT ADAPTOR SETING" the default setting is at lens 5. Next press the WB button and then go FOCAL LENGH SETTING usimg the WB again to enter the setting. Default is 50mm , change the numbers to all zeros "000" then press the OK button to save it..Now come out of the munus and try recording a video whilst moving the camera around..Notice its ot now searching like previously..As i understand it that menu setting is for use if using and adaptor for none fujifilm lenses, so if its set at 50mm the focal length of your stock or any lense is incorrect, hence its continuasly trying to focus..Since i tried this my fujifilm XT100 is now excellent for videoography..Try it, it works...

    i am sorry but i like the camera a lot because i have never had such great pro photos! autofocus just focus on screen or with autofocus button. And the raw photos are even better. The detail comes out in Lightroom. I love the camera so far a lot. I just shot in manual mode and i think it is a very sturdy and easy to operate camera. Haven’t tested it on my little nieces yet but i probably will not use the afc option then. I only have it for a few days now and very happy this superphotocamera!

      @GinoriYT  4 роки тому

      If you're happy with the X-T100 then that's perfectly fine. That being said, it's not a pro or a super super camera, and that's the point of this video.

      @ The Canon M50 and even the Sony A5100 run circles around the X-T100, and that’s not up for debate for anyone who’s had hands-on experience with these cameras. Fuji put out a subpar camera that can’t even focus properly so I’m not sure if someone just starting out will have the patience to deal with such a slow camera. And just to be clear, the price tag of the competition is about the same, so crippling the X-T100 to make it such a pain to use was clearly intentional, and not justified.
      If you personally find the X-T100 to be a good camera then it’s one thing, but saying that it’s better than the competition, and adequate for its price tag then you’re either being naive or disingenuous.

    • @GinoriYT
      @GinoriYT  3 роки тому

      @ If by biased you mean something you don’t agreed with then sure, whatever rocks you boat, bud. As far as my subscriber count, it shows that I’m not consistently delivering content nor keeping up with UA-cam’s demands to be on the good side of the algorithm. That is a personal attack to deflect from the fact that you don’t have an argument. You could have over a million subscribers and be biased as hell, so your argument isn’t really holding up here. People like you are the reason I no longer review Fuji gear. You feel like my critique of the X-T100 is an attack against you. It’s most certainly not. Make of that what you will.

    how come some reviews say XT100 image quality is similar to XT3/XT30? So XT1 image quality definitely better than XT100?

    • @GinoriYT
      @GinoriYT  5 років тому

      Some people have the camera for 2 weeks to review, whereas I had mine for 6 months, so those reviews might not include the little details one notices after using a camera for extended periods of time. I don't have to sell anything, and no affiliate links either, so I'll tell you what I honestly feel.
      The X-T1 doesn't produce the same details as the X-T100 because it's a 16MP camera, whereas the X-T100 is a 24MP camera. That's really the only advantage of the X-T100, if I'm being honest. Face/Eye Detect is more reliable on the X-T1. Low-light focusing, color science, and ISO performance are also better on the X-T1. The build quality and handling is better on the X-T1. The X-T1's video quality is miles ahead of the X-T100.
      So knowing this, I could not wholeheartedly recommend the X-T100. You would be disappointed if you were expecting it to be like an X-T1/10 or higher.

      @@GinoriYT im looking at a used XT1 selling together with a 50mm kamlan f1.1 lens selling the same price as a new XT20 body only. Which do you think is of better value? or if you were me which would u go for?

    • @GinoriYT
      @GinoriYT  5 років тому +1

      It all depends on what you want out of your camera. If AF speed is important to you then the X-T20 would be the most obvious choice. Also, if you want the Acros film simulation then the X-T20 would be the way to go. If you need 24MP then the X-T20 will have you covered there as well. Last thing, high ISO performance will be better on the X-T20.
      Otherwise, if you want a beefier grip, bigger EVF, ISO dial, side door for your SD card, the X-T1 will be the camera for you.
      In my opinion, I would get the X-T20 for all the things that I mentioned above, plus the X-Trans III sensor, which is my favorite X-Trans sensor. I have the X-T30, and it's not in the same league when it comes to colors. The only thing I do like is the fact that you get the Eterna film simulation, but still, I prefer X-Trans III color output, and high ISO performance.

    • @hsienfromspace
      @hsienfromspace 5 років тому

      @@GinoriYT How are you finding the ergonomics of the xt30? and why did you go for that over the XT3 besides price point? The XT20/30 has less dials than the XT2/3 did that bother you? and ergonomics wise, do you feel comfortable handling the xt30 coz they say its tiny for guy hands. I surveyed the price and the price of XT2 is just a little bit more than the new xt20 body only. I havent got the time to go feel both though so what are your thoughts that you settled for the xt30 instead of the XT3?

    • @GinoriYT
      @GinoriYT  5 років тому

      I don't mind the smaller body of the X-T30, and I didn't feel like paying a premium for a a decent video camera. I was going to add the X-H1 as my main camera because of the X-Trans III sensor. Sadly, I'm switching to the Nikon Z system, so I've almost sold all of my Fuji gear at this point.
      The reason why I mentioned those cameras was because of the price point. If you feel like you can spend a little more, and get the X-T2 then do it. If you can save a little more then I would pick up the X-H1 as it'll give you the best grip, and better performance when it comes to X-Trans III sensor cameras. If I was sticking with Fuji, that's what I would do anyway. The X-T3 is not that much of an upgrade to me, unless video is your focus, and even then, I wouldn't say is a huge difference either.
      I honestly don't know what your looking for, but you can find X-H1s on the used market for around $750-$800 which is about the same as for an X-T2. At those prices, the X-H1 is the better buy, unless you want a smaller camera, and can live without IBIS.

    This video it s shot on X-T100? most of the time you're out of focus!

    • @GinoriYT
      @GinoriYT  5 років тому +3

      This video was shot on the X-T30. My wife was the operator, so she probably changed the focus point or something. Also, the X-T30 struggles with people in glasses or hats, so that's another thing that could've messed up the AF.
      To be honest, after testing the X-T30 for an extended period of time, I came to the realization that the camera was over-hyped. It works okay, but not excellently. For stills is perfect, but not quite there yet for video.

    What do you think are better cameras with the same price range?

    • @GinoriYT
      @GinoriYT  5 років тому +2

      In my experience, and for the price, the X-T1 will give you a better experience in image quality, and overall handling of the camera. You can pick one up for around $300 in the used market, and will perform better, feel better, and produce better-looking images.
      If you have a slightly higher budget then the X-T20 will give you faster AF, 24MP images, 4K video, and the X-Trans III sensor which in my opinion is the best X-Trans sensor.
      I would avoid the X-T100 at all costs, but if you still want to try it then rent it first so you can get a feel for the camera.

    So much hate on the XT100 damn! I loved the way it felt in my hands when I tested it in store so I'm watching vids for actual footage & image samples and opinions. This video is like a Fujifilm nightmare... pretty much all negative, except for praising flip out screen & film modes. Oh well I guess.

    • @GinoriYT
      @GinoriYT  4 роки тому +3

      If you love the way it feels, then don't listen to me, and just go get it! Unlike most reviewers, I don't just use a camera for a week or two and give my thoughts, so take that for what it's worth. On the flip side, I've seen many reviewers praising a lens or a camera, but when I get my hands on it, it's not what I had expected. I would rent it along with the X-T20 and try them both for a week. If the X-T100 fulfills your requirements then go for it, but you will have at least given yourself a chance to compare it against a similarly-priced model.
