I love her sweater!!!
Patrick Rothfuss's writing is very accessible, you definitely can read The Name of the Wind whenever you like!
i want ash to be my best friend
🥺🥺🥺
The way the Narnia series has been on my tbr since 2012..... I will get to it one day
Your thinking around The name of the wind makes so much sense ! I also feel like I should read some adult fantasy books that are "easier" to read before getting to stuff like Wheel of Time x)
The Eye of the World was super easy to read:D I was so intimidated by the amount of books in that series and all the hype, but... I just checked what I wrote on Goodreads, and it was that:
“Archie and Jughead and Reggie leave Riverdale to fight evil.
Ok. So this book was soooo good!...
You know that feeling “why did I wait for so long to read this?” This is what I feel now.
It’s like the perfect tale about friendship and adventure and cool stories and cool people and creatures..., and I CAN’T WAIT to know more about them and the magic system and the history of their world...!!!
I read this book in three days, I was nearly always on the edge of my seat, and I never got bored.
I’m so ready for the rest of the series!”
It really was not hard to read at all:D
@@imthecandyqueen oh wow okay ! Ive heard so many people say the worldbuilding is a lot that it intimidates me quite a bit ! Thanks for the info ^^
I think in some cases it can help ease you into a usually difficult to understand genre, but mostly I’m just like why am I thinking this way LOL 😂
Pls do more YA recommendations 😃😃😃
Hiiii from Egypt ash!! ❤️🥰🥰
Love the sweater
I took a different approach toward Sanderson's books and decided to start with The Way of Kings 😂 I'll have to get to a lot of his other works in 2021
I'm loving these videos every day 🥰
Awesome video, Ashley! Glad you at least got to 9 of those books (P.S. It's quite possible I lost count, myself; so take my tally with a grain of salt. 🤷♂️)
Never ended up reading the Trials of Apollo series. I wanted to, but I read the first book when it came out years ago and couldn’t stand Apollo. I heard he gets better later in the series, but I’ll have to reread that first book because I forgot the plot, and I just couldn’t bring myself to do that this year :/
Haha yeah, his character in the beginning is much like when you first meet him in book 3 of the PJO series, but he does develop! It’s really nice to see and read, but I totally get what you mean!
@@adashofash Update: This inspired me to try again and he's actually not as bad as I remember! :)
I recommend Worm by Wildbow, but the only issue is that it's long. Really long.
Your facial expressions are everything in this video!
I’m the same way with “graduating” to the next book 😂 I’m telling myself “oh if u read mistborn then you’ll be ready for all of the adult high fantasy books” which is probably not even close to being true hahah
Same here with queen of air and darkness. Have been reading both the physical copy and listened to the audio book but haven't made it past 150 pages yet... Did read chain of gold in a couple days though when it came out, in my opinion much more interesting. Also I'm still made at Cassandra for what she did to me in the second dark artifices book so yeah... :)
I got to all of the books on my list! But I made it in July and there were only 10 on it LOL. I really just put down books I was already halfway through or was really hyped for a long time already. However, I just finished the last book on that list last week LOL
Your reaction to carry on 😂
I love your channel!!!!
I hope u had a nice Christmas??? Keep safe!! ❄️📖
Love your videos!! ‘I already hate myself’ hahahahahahaha 😂😅😄
Omg love your videos
Just needed to say > girl, you look really good in this video
I love ❤️ the video!!!!
Pwahah I 100% do the same thing woth fantasy. Wait to reqd a few more things to be reqdy for the big popular adult ones pwaghaga. I think im ready now xD
And I agree with the idea like if you only read YA fantasy you might not enjoy big ass books. Taste can develop xD going slowly is better imo. I started with darker shade of magic and misborn imo those 2 are adult fantasy but reads like YA so its a nice little entry point xD
Honestly please do read Red Rising. They're honestly some of the best books I've ever read!
They’re still on my list, just not sure when I’ll finally pick them up!😋
I really wanted to read way of kings. I tried to read it a couple times and kept quiting at page 60ish. I got the audiobook and I'm listening to it now
early
Woow woow 😍💋 💝💖❤️
