Y'all...please don't cook your bacon at 400 degrees. Let it go longer if you need to but 400 degrees is too hot and yes will get it cooked but it's also going to be more akin to cardboard. Let it do it's thing so the fat can cook properly, trust me on this one. We want crispy not to melt every ounce of fat out of the things :) And yes if you read the notes, thicker cut bacon obviously takes longer then paper thin bacon. Keep notes of the brand you use and how many slices you put in there. If you just put 1 piece of paper thin bacon it's going to be different then if you line the entire tray with thick cut bacon.
I have the exact same air fryer as the woman in the video, and I agree with this poster. It was pink, flabby and not done at all. I’ll be doing 400 at 8 minutes. I’m new to air frying. I am grateful that you posted that her timing and temp is off. Thanks! Also, the inside of the air fryer is super greasy. I took a moist cloth and at least wiped the coil and “ceiling” of the air fryer. It’s a bit of a grease trap!
Oh yeah, bacon! Just got an air fryer and made wings. It’s the least greasiness I ever had in the kitchen “frying” wings. I’m short and always get splashed. Looking forward to makin’ bacon for breakfast tomorrow and no splashing! Thanks for the bacon parameters.
I just got my air fryer and i love it my beacon is dome at 400 for 9 minutes but this thing came cook pretty much anything. I just cooked up 3 burgers 19 minutes at 375 and they were so good.
Thank you for the warning about the higher temps. I can wait a little longer for my food. Fun video. 350 degrees for five or six minutes - bacon evenly spaced, even touching, is o.k. I will cook most of my foods at 350 degrees and just wait a little longer.
I take my air fryer out to my patio. Line the bottom with a parchment liner. No smell in the house, easy clean up and the most delicious bacon I’ve ever had. ❤️🥓🔥

I get "put bacon in fryer and start" but you didn't talk about if you need to layer the bottom with parchment paper, smoke factor of grease, did you put the grater on the bottom to help with drainage??
I've never had that happen in this Cosori air fryer but have heard of people having that issue with other models. Definitely make sure you have thoroughly cleaned the whole unit before using while it is off and unplugged including the burner. You may need to reduce the number of pieces you cook at once and drain off all the oil between batches or reduce heat and increase time if you are getting a ton of splattering. I've heard of some people utilizing water in the bottom of it to minimize smoke but that feels unsafe to me to add water plus grease together and an electrical component.
Lies! 😝 Mine didn’t come out crispy. It’s still soft and chewy. I have the same exact Cosori. What did I do wrong? It took 12 minutes to come out crunchy like the video.
I don’t know how she likes her bacon. Everyone is different but I did some bacon 400° 15 minutes. You have nice crispy bacon just right. Not overcook it not undercooked.

8-9 mins at 400 has mine perfectly crispy in that same air fryer brand.
Just did 6 mins at 350…. Defiantly wasn’t crispy or close to done, more like 400 degrees, 8 mins was more like it
Just had the same experience
This is why these things are stupid. There's so much variance.
@@assordante2205obviously not every air fryer is the same

8-9 mins on 400 is perfectly crispy.
I've had an air fryer for over a year and never thought of bacon. Thanks
Definitely try it out!
So here's an added benefit: if your tray is clean before you start you can use a rubber spatula to scoop out the bacon fat - great for frying eggs.
Yes! Great tip.

Air fryer bacon is THE BEST and the easy cleanup is even better!
Yesss!
Just got a fryer, thanks so much! Are you going to make any more videos? I love the channel
We are coming back very soon! We moved and had to get resettled. Thank you for the sweet comment :)
Love the video. We just got our air fryer in the mail, still in the box, but I wanted some recipes to start with and this is a good one.
Does the grease spatter above the pan on the inside of the fryer?

Frozen patties??
@@TwichMcvey-mc3pv yup it's so quick and easy and tastes so good.
400 at 9 minutes came out nice and crispy
Mine was no where near done at that time, and i normally have to cook things with less time/temp on other recipes..

Love my air fryer. Best way to cook ever for bacon 🥓
It totally is!
Love using my Airfryer.....
Love bacon
Thank you Tracey from Austin Texas
I tear a piece if bread in half and put them underneath the grill. They soak up the grease and make clean up even easier.

The parchment paper is a great idea I didn’t think of that.
This man a criminal for that smell thing
How easy is it to clean the grease from the plate and bottom of bucket when done?
I love you kept saying Makin’ Bacon!
which model is your cosori airfrye? does it have stainless steel basket?
Was the air fryer really nasty with grease? Was it a difficult clean up?
@3:06 That looks like a perfect BLT bacon crunch/crisp

Just a question for anyone that has experience with the Air Fryer. Can you put foil ? Sorry I am new on this.

I’ve made bacon in the air fryer a few rimes now. Sorry but the oven gives much better results and u can cook way more pieces
I have the same air fryer and no way in heck is bacon even close to done at 350 for 6 minutes. It takes about 7 minutes at 400
was the air fryer pre heated or was it 6 min from start? thank you
6 from the start
Kindly let us know the manufacturer and model number of your air fryer. Thank you.
I tried to cook bacon in this air fryer and the grease kicked up onto the burner. The result was tons of smoke. How did you prevent smoke production?

Put them slices of bread in the bottom to soak up the grease. I use a Cosori and it has never happened to me.
Yayy 😍 they came out great
Woohoo!
What model is the airfryer?
Should have shown the bacon once the cooking was completed

Like I said in the video, every brand of bacon varies in thickness so if it’s a thicker cut you can definitely leave it in for a few more minutes!
@@Theadventurebite
Oh! Sorry I didn’t catch that in the video. Thank you for letting me know.
8-10 minutes is the perfect balance between chewy and crispy! I also have the same Cosori
No preheat?
No need to preheat air fryers
Thank you comment section 🙏 😅
To cold and windy for the griddle. So here I am 😂
I don’t know how she likes her bacon. Everyone is different but I did some bacon 400° 15 minutes. You have nice crispy bacon just right. Not overcook it not undercooked.
And no smoke in the house because of the fat burning at such a temperature?
My husband at 94 loves his bacon so when he puts it in his mouth it shatters. That the way all bacon was
That time and temp did not work at all.
Interesting! What kind of air fryer do you have? What kind of bacon did you use? I use this at least once a week with no issues.
I do 400 for 10 minutes
@@DocKaosBeats I'll give it a try, thank you!
oven is still best for bacon
You ate it all before I got to see it.
She a g for grabbing it with her bare hands out of a air fryer
This does not work. Other videos show 400 degrees at 9 mins for perfect crispy bacon. Do not follow this recipe.
A few extra minutes and you could put the ashes in an urn 😂 cremated . . .
Yeah, 6 minutes at 350 is not happening and cutting bacon in half, bad idea. Sorry I watched
Halal kosher bacon 🤣🤣🤣
American bacon 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂srewth it's burnt to a cinder
Think she eats raw bacon
This was horrible it did not work
350F is 180C for us normal people.
american bacon is so different to British and Danish bacon yours is pure fat and no meat, nice video.
You talk to much
4 mins to tell us he temp and the cook time, cool.
Rinse out bacon grease in the sink? Are you insane?
i love this!
you can also preheat if you want to but it’s not totally necessary.
Bacon is cooked better with no preheating actually
