"Are they all the sweetest people in the world?" Yes. The circumstances and the uniqueness of the boys themselves that created BTS comea around so infrequently and I feel so grateful that I found them in my lifetime. They make the colors more vivid and the lights a bit brighter.

Couldn’t agree more. Truly the sweetest. Though they try to have/ keep some private life they have grown up on camera and could not keep up an act for 7 years. They are the first to say they are not perfect, and feel some pressure to not make mistakes, (given how harsh their critics are) but I imagine ARMY would agree their little imperfections are a major part of their charm.

I am a silver army (old in age) lol these 7 young men have help me thru one of the hardest years of my life. They are humble...talented... and just all round really good humans. They are the perfect storm that doesnt happen often.. Dawn Cleaveley your experience is so similar to mine. I’m 58 and found them when BWL came out and at that I had been suffering with chronic pain for about 5 years then. They brought laughter and my love for music back. Although my back isn’t 100% percent it’s so much better.

In many eastern countries it’s common (and just good manners) to wear a mask of you have a cold or feel a little under the weather. It’s to keep your germs from other people. Something that the rest of the world is just clueing into due to COVID. If the world ever gets back to normal, I’d like to see the west continuing to wear masks when we’re not feeling well to drop the spread of colds, flu, and other respiratory illnesses.

They have a couple of online shows their company produces for them. One of them is a games/variety show called Run BTS! where you can see them forgetting they're famous, rich and powerful. They can be seen being treacherous to each other to win a 10 dollar gift card or making alliances to avoid wearing a crazy hat on a public appearance.

When I first became an ARMY I was judgmental about all the people saying certain songs made them cry. Even if it was sad, couldn't they control themselves? Then I heard Magic Shop, Mikrokosmos, and We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal. They are written as direct dialogues with ARMY. Not dedicated to, but speaking with because they have a history together. Now when I listen to WAB: The Eternal, I blubber like a 3 year old because I feel loved unconditionally. What strangers or other artists in the world make friends of you and love you unconditionally?? And I know it's real and genuine because they don't hide themselves.
ARMY's and BTS are so fervent that it looks like a cult from the outside, but once you're in, you understand. :-D
It is true. WAB and Magic Shop caught me everytime. Whenever I feel lonely, hearing these songs made me feel "being accompanied" by their existence.

I agree.. BTS has a lot of songs dedicated to ARMY. Something that I rarely or honestly never see in other artists, korean or not. One of the thing that I really like about them is how they always thank ARMY for their achievements, because they know that it's all possible because BTS and ARMY work together to make it possible. We know that some artist think that they're so famous and so great but they forgot that it was possible because of their fans. I mean for example, they wouldn't become rich if their fans didn't buy their album or music.

Watch from Nobodys to Legends, the went thrue a lot from Music shows. Small companys artist is not treated good in Korea. But today Bts company is bigger than the big ones. Bts company only have Bts and there new Boygroup TXT that debut last year, the also have Lee Hyun solo singer. But this year the take over and help 2 small companys so there artist is under Bts company now

I'm glad you found yourself charmed by them. There's a saying that BTS comes to you when you need them. I first got into them in 2017 a month after my father passed due to lung cancer and they got me out of bed in the mornings for about six months as I grieved. Funnily enough, I'm also a metalhead. My first concert was Metallica, Suicidal Tendencies and Danzig back in the early nineties. Saw Nine Inch Nails 6 times. Loved Chris Cornell beyond the telling. And then, when I needed them, BTS found me. I couldn't listen to sad or angry music and listening to Chris Cornell just made me sad because he killed himself. So, I'm grateful for BTS for bringing me peace.

Same I found them at my hardest time. When I was going to through depression. I wanted to kill myself and just found no meaning in living anymore. No one was by my side at that time other than bts. They helped me find a meaning to life and love myself and everyone around me. I found my dream because of them💜💜💜💜

damm i love it when new people become aware of them and start to support, these guys are gold, it's not just a normal group, bts transmits a lot, talent, passion, art, etc. I love these boys. You're right. They're super rich, yet so humble. They always donated millions of dollars as groups or individual quietly. Ppl found out only after one who received their donation talk.
BTS is very well known for their beautiful and meaningful lyrics. Tons of their songs are very heart warming and poetic. BUTTERFLY, BLACK SWAN, MAGIC SHOP, FAKE LOVE, are just some examples.
BTS is also famous as social messengers. They voice social issues through their lyrics. SPRING DAYS, SPINE BREAKER, BAEPSAE, LOUDER THAN A BOMB are some of the examples.
BTS rapline (JHope, RM, Suga) is VERY strong and advanced in KPop industry. They are simply not KPop rapper, but more into real KRap rapper. Some of the songs they did are CYPHER (pt 1, 2, 3, 4), UGH, and DDAENG. Cypher series are very famous and crazily complicated in words, meanings, and wordplays.
BTS vocal line (Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook) have many masterpieces, i.e. HOUSE OF CARDS, DIMPLE, THE TRUTH UNTOLD.

I think you chose the right moment to learn more about them as people. Of course, this video shows just a tiny part of who they are as individuals/professionals. They are indeed extraordinary human beings who evolved incredibly well. While they are different as personality, they all have something in common: they are genuine. And this type of strong genuineness manages to get reflected in their songs, and that is why so many people, no matter the age, gender, race, etc fall for them so sincerely, considering them family. Namjoon (RM) said one time that the only people he trusts are their fans. The fans are his people. This is exactly how we feel about them, too. They are OUR people, our extended family and the love for them is unconditional. The more you will learn about them, the more you will listen to them, the more you will understand the tight connection between these young men and the fandom. Thank you for opening up to them. :)

The mask is something Koreans were already used to. They would wear them for a lot of reasons. Concealing identity (celebrities), not feeling well, and they have an air quality problem some days so it's advised to wear a mask.
Seriously you have a great voice man. Great reaction as usual and just to say I never in my life tought I would stan a "Boy band". Even when that definition is not accurate to define these guys. These dudes are really deep, talented and great performers. No wonder so many adults, men and women are stanning them.

You know, when The Beatles started they were a boy band too with a lot of screaming obsessed fan girls but they ended up worldwide legends loved by millions of people, both males and females of all ages, nationalities and races. about suga wearing a mask in jhope’s introduction, it isn’t a recent clip! people in korea and many other asian countries tend to wear masks out often to protect from pollution, even before covid happened :)
korean age is different from international age. when theyre born they are 1 year old and then age up on new years day. for example Tae (v) was born in on december 30th at age 1 then he turned 2 years old 2 days later on new years. they dont age on their birth date.
so when JK says he joined at 15 he was actually like 12/13 years old.
youll get used to the age difference soon. And I recommend remembering the Korean words highlighted in the video because there isn't an english word to translate them so you will see and hear those words a lot. for example-
Maknae - youngest member of the group.
Hyung - what a younger male calls an older male. its kinda like saying older brother but they dont have to be related.

I love watching metal heads find BTS. I'm a 41 year old who is a total metal head and have NEVER been into a boy band (Slipknot/Sepultura/Iron Maiden, etc). BTS sucked me in completely. I was pleasantly surprised to find a lot of metal heads in ARMY too with a similar story to me. I'd suggest if you plan to react to the We are Bulletproof: Eternal, it will have a lot more impact after you watch the Nobodies to Legends video (and then rewatch it once you've been into BTS a while and you'll really get it). Also, as a metal head, Dionysus really hits the metal vibes for me and is a fave. Another great sad song is Singularity as well as Stigma, both solo songs by my fave vocalist V (Kim Taehyung) in the group.

But what makes that affection strong, is the fact that they are not nearly as perfect as they try to be seen, and they are conscious of it and always admit it. And when we (army) figured out that they're fake we wont click and watch anymore so they jumped to other group and praised and hyped the song even that song is literally noise or empty with no substance. Bee JK wasn’t a “trained” dancer per say but he did dance before joining, he even stated that all he originally wanted to do was dance. Regardless, they’re all professionally trained now, and they’re all spectacular and have grown so much as both artists and dancers, just be proud of our boys, no need to spout passive aggressive sarcasm.

You are such a sweetheart! Fun facts. RM has an IQ of 148. The band has lived together for 7+ years. They didn't always have money. They shared a 1 bedroom apartment. Their label almost went bankrupt during early promotions. They worked as back ups and other small jobs to make ends meet. They really went through tough times. i think that you can came so closer to them cause, from your perspective, you're a father. Then you can see them as a somebody that can be your son and that's the warmest feeling. They were originally supposed to be only hip-hop group,but considering how many times Big Hit and BTS were on the verge of bankruptcy, it was only logical for them to go and switch things to the 'Idol' lane. Though this path surely has had more than enough hardships for them as well, Big Hit and CEO Bang PD always made the smartest moves and never took boys personalities or creative outlets away from them. That's one more admirable thing about their relationship with eachother 💛

It dosnt really show in this video but Jin despite the whole World Wide Handsome shtick is quite shy and introverted (his ears get all red and he gets flustered when people pay to much attention to him ^_^) but he behaves very extroverted to liven up the atmosphere and ice break in situations to make the other members more relaxed. He also like making other people happy and smile it makes him happy he has said before. And yes the guys are like a family and so kind and humble. And yes if you get into their non music stuff... they are 7 goofballs and so much fun ^_^
Probably others already said this but their songs have a story line... bangtan universe... these story line will even be adapted to a real drama to aired in the future.. it's such a diverse story
They are extremely humble and caring...they do a lot vlives(which is like twitch in a way, its live, jin actually just did one today) they also try and include us in as much stuff as they can. They also have two series; run bts and bon voyage. run bts is like a variety show(games and challenges) and bon voyage, where they travel and we get to see them relax and have fun. You really get to see them as who they are and not just idols, you get to know their personalities etc. 💜

Oh you are so far down the rabbit hole like the rest of us hahaha. This video is the one where I was able to identify the individual members. They do a series called Bon Voyage. Last year they came to my country New Zealand and went camping. Their main concern was, knowing what their role was to support the group. Jin and Suga cook, some would do food prep, others would put up the camping equipment. They would do cleaning duties and unpacking and packing duties. They would get stressed if they felt like they weren't contributing enough. That's how down to earth they are. They are so respectful, sincere, genuine and humble. And that's how they get into your heart. They're incredible role models. Not just for their obvious talent, dedication and hard work. But because of who they are as individuals and how they are as a collective. I just wanted to touch on their wealth. Money doesn't change you. It brings out the best or worst characteristics of who you are. If you weren't enough of a person without money, you'll never be enough with it. And that's why those boys are wealthy in every way possible. And why they find value in everything and everyone.
Kauritree08, I've watched a few episodes of Bon Voyage in New Zealand 🇳🇿. It's my fav BV season! They got to drive in 2 vehicles without any staff for the first time in their career, and tackled good 'ol camping tasks, which I think brought them closer together. The natural beauty of your country is similar to where I live on the west coast of Canada. Want a great landscape for the season! I've really gotten to know more about the members from watching that show. I laugh 😆 through every episode 🤣
At the Grammy's Jungkook was teary-eyed watching Dolly Parton sing. They seem to really like a wide range of songs and artists and just.. love music. I'm so happy they can do what they love (and do so well). Their songs have meant a lot to me and sharing them with my kids (Winter Bear), it's like a little way to bond and share interests. Plus, I hope it encourages them to cast a wide net for interests in music or movies or books or food.. anything really. I feel like BTS is a good example of approaching the world with an open-heart. I want to be more like that and I want that for my children.

To debut as a hiphop group, they would be limited to Hiphop. These guys are so cool about exploring million genres and their CEO does not limit their artistic freedom at all. They do what they want to do. They make their own music in a way they wanna live their lives so that makes them super authentic. 💜

Maybe you should watch BTS Bon Voyage someday (but sadly you have to pay for it, it's not that expensive, I assure you it's worth it). In that program they went traveling around and you can really see how humble and laid back they are even though they're an international superstar and super rich. They didn't wear any make up in that show for most of the time (they didn't even change their sweat pants for 3 days), went camping and sleep in a small motel with a bunk bed or tent or caravan, they were cooking and cleaning for themselves, they also admitted themselves that they looked like a country bum in that show but they're okay with that. I really like that show because you can tell that they're just a bunch of man in their twenties enjoying their vacation and they're very much human, just like us. They don't set themselves above everyone else like some other famous people out there. I know how money and fame can really get through your head, especially when you're young. But they really doing a very great job at keeping themselves humble and not forgetting their roots.

Jimin has studied martial arts including kendo. He has a blackbelt in taekwondo. Thats probably how he can do all them jumps. And oh yea he has studied ballet, contemporary dance and knows how to beat box

This video don't do jin justice. He's more than just an older brother that can cook and like dad joke. He's way way more than that. He's the glue of the group. he inspired other members to see the positivity in live and became calmer. Namjoon and jimin stated they learnt from jin. Even namjoon speech in this video of his last session he got it from jin. He's so humble and polite and selfless.
He's the ice breaker and could make people feel comfortable around him. He has wonderful voice, wonderful personality and now he also start to write songs. Jin is known to be so stable on stage. His soft voice and high notes are to die for
Why army loved BTS so so much because all the members since they debut till nowadays BTS never changes they still very humble and theirs love for armies more and more when they wrote lyrics armies can feel it’s real and does help armies day by day through. They don't live together anymore. Most of them already moved out in their own apartments. It's not official yet but it's true. Only Yoongi, Namjoon and Jimin stick around the most in the dorm. The others come by when they have promotions and tight schedule.
