I am a consultant in Internal Medicine with special medical interests in gastroenterology, cardiology, and echocardiography. I am a a full-time practising physician in these areas. I was an undergraduate at the University of Toronto, Trinity College where I received a number of scholarships including one for top student at Trinity College. I attended medical school at the University of Toronto graduating with a gold medal. My internship was completed at McMaster University in Hamilton followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Western Ontario in London. I then completed a fellowship in General Internal Medicine at the University of Western Ontario. I am an active echocardiographer who has been certified and recertified by the National Board of Echocardiography. I am certified in cardiac sonography and have trained and completely educated a number of cardiac sonographers. I am the medical director of my cardiology laboratory which was established in 2001. My laboratory performs echocardiography and stress echocardiography amongst other tests. I maintain my certification in the American Board of Internal Medicine. I have over 27 years of experience as a hospital-based consultant in internal medicine and intensive care unit attending physician. From what I gather, one of the major tobacco science flaws was they -- like others -- fraudulently classified recently v people as uv, which is absurd. Know several cases of the recently v who "coincidentally" passed out/even expired within hours or days of the 'v'... Calling these people 'uv' is likely calling a half pack a day smoker a "non-smoker."

this is exactly what the study aims at: increase insurance rates based on medical data. Expect your next contract to include medical questions about your vax status. Not answering means a higher premium, lying means no coverage if you get into an accident. Expect more, because the federal govt actually sponsors these studies with 50K$ checks.

This study contains so many flaws, like it only included one month & within the first 14 days of being vaccinated you were still classed as unvaccinated as the vaccine would not have taken full effect. This then precluded anybody fainting, losing consciousness, having a heart attack etc due to the vaccine whilst driving. It even included passengers in a car accident as well as pedestrians! Plus, if anybody died they were not included in the study, so they never ascertained if someone died from the accident itself or they had died prior to the accident such as having a heart attack or by losing consciousness. One other great flaw was that in Toronto, Canada the unvaccinated were not allowed on any public transport at all so therefore had to always use a car for work, shopping etc so were doing far more miles but the mileage was taken into account. These are but a few of one of tne flawed issues that made no sense. Thank you Dr Moran for bringing this study up.

We have friends who are vaccinated and never leave the house because of their fear of getting Covid. Because of their fear , they will never get into an auto accident…not their vaccine status
This study reminds me a bit of the study done in the 50s that correlated ice cream sales with polio infections. People were seriously considering banning ice cream.
If vaccinated suffered hearth attack or stroke in 14 days from vaccination it was gategorized as unvaccinated car accident.

I got my vaccine and dropped my car insurance. Saved me more money than geico.
I have worked in the insurance field for decades. A long time ago, car insurance companies found out that smokers get into more car accidents than nonsmokers. That study appears to be have a similar theme to this study. Unvaccinated people and smokers are higher risk takers, while nonsmokers and vaccinated people tend to choose a lower risk lifestyle.
PS: car insurance companies also found out that people with bad credit and bankruptcies also got into more car accidents, thus reinforcing the theory that risk taking behaviour tends to have a spillover effect to other areas.
The first thing they did was make sure people couldn't sue when they got sick because they knew it was going to happen to a lot of people. Another red flag?

The key word for me in that opening paragraph was "might" meaning it's subjective drivel, when you use the word might or may it means it isn't proven beyond reasonable doubt as it also could be might not or may not! Unvaccinated people have less fear & live their own lives, traveling, working, and entertaining. Vaccinated people are more fearful & compliant, less likely to be out and about. Hence I would agree with study. Plain & simple truth.

The majority of the vaccinated lives in big cities which has massive public transit systems. It's kind of difficult to get in a car accident if you're not actually driving a car.
There's a name for this kind of study. It's called grasping at straws. On the plus side, the more ridiculous the claims get the less likely it is that people will believe them.
