Is Scott using a dice to count the times he put Yuriko on the field? Like Derevi's ability, Yuriko's commander ninjutsu doesn't increase commander tax, because the commander isn't being CAST from the command zone. There's no need to count unless he actually casts Yuriko.
At 13:35 Adam could have won. Mirage Mirror could copy the Forest Akiri attached some axes and protection greened it with mother of runes unblocked because.... Copy effects dont copy changed to effects but no one knows this.
To be fair, that ruling is easy to mess up and forget about. Also, a correction: copy effects don't copy changes given by other things, such as other permanents attached to it and counters. If you copy something with Clone and copy that Clone with another Clone, for example, the second Clone will become whatever the first Clone was.
What a showdown at the end. Really impressed with Adam and Peter's plays. Also, side note but this video gave me an idea that mother of runes could knock off Lignify by giving protection from Green.
'And i cast ruby medallion' Nooooo, whhyyyyyyy? Land, 1 drop; Land, Cheering Fanatic; Land, attack with fanatic, say ruby medallion and play it, krenko D:
Good game. It is pleasing to see a non-Kaalia/non-Edgar Mardu deck go off, and I finally got to see big bad ninja mama put in some work. On a side note, I'm interested in seeing a Mowu güd boi EDH deck in a future video.
At 10:50 Adams production of blue mana was impossible due to commander color identity. No mana source you control can produce mana of a color not in your color identity, unless that changed recently.
It was changed quite a while ago now. It just makes sense as most decks can't use mana outside of their colours as anything other than colourless anyway, and the rule just hosed decks like sen triplets
I think that perfer Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin to the Mob Boss. But that's mostly because with Skirk Prospector and Aggravated Assault you can get infinite attack steps
@@oom-3262 I use Dolmen Gate or Whispersilk Cloak to protect Krenko and Boggart Shenanigans provides a bit of reach if combat damage can't get through. I just feel that it's easier to go infinite with Tin Street Kingpin than the Mob Boss
Hey Andrew I was thinking of sometime creating a Magic the Gathering channel that is separate from the one that you see me use and call it MTG Thudster that would somewhat combine some aspects of your channel but done differently and have a total acting aspect by being somewhat obtuse like Magic Aids. What do you recommend as far as that is concerned?
The Yeva player should have been abusing flash a bit more. Since he drew into Sol Ring T1, he should've Worldly Tutor before turn 2 for a T2 Yisan. For some bizarre reason he felt forced to play for the Growing Rites, which was the incorrect line of play. You want your boardstate to remain as non existent as possible until the very last second. Manglehorn should be used in response to rocks/tap artifacts. Had he abused Flash more he would've gained value from Damnation, but instead he played into it just to attempt to flip Rites.
I thought it was against the rules to generate mana that wasnt your commander's color identity and therefore couldnt have used thassa's ability to make his attacker's unblockable. Am I wrong?
Adam made a huge mistake at 10:55. He cannot activate Thassa's ability since he can't produce blue mana because of the color identity of his commanders.
That was correct before January 18th, 2016. They've since changed how Rule 4 works and you can now produce any color of mana and use it: paste.ee/r/GZpYC
He did this necause he was trying to get his enchantment to flip, but people kept making sure he was under 4 creatures. Had it flipped, he would have had plenty of mana to play more creatures at instant speed.

Well thats nice.
But atleast for me sending a Stamped Letter from the EU does not seem worth it.
Wow that mikokoro activation to stop the 11 from the trespass was amazing. GGs
amazing or douchy? he would have killed adam and not lose later cus peter was at a high life total.
He shoulda tutored with Yuriko trigger on the stack instead of main phase. It is an instant speed card for a reason lol
@@kennythereaver1 preventing 11 life loss on yourself is usually the better play plus you may win favor with the other players who you helped
@@MrSeam0nk3y true but unless i'm mistaken he would still have priority at some point to activate the draw before the yuriko trigger resolves
@@jtizzle450 yet he lost and adam was at..... DING. 11. bad call. lost himself the game by doing that.

Like Derevi's ability, Yuriko's commander ninjutsu doesn't increase commander tax, because the commander isn't being CAST from the command zone. There's no need to count unless he actually casts Yuriko.
He may have been playing one of the storm cards from the 2018 set (Skull Storm for example)
Using commander ninjutsu doesn't count towards them, either; he must actually CAST the commander.
Well there could be a scenario where he wants to cast her. Its pretty unlikely, but it could happen.
But that's the point: only put the dice when he actually casts her. Like I said, using commander ninjutsu doesn't increase commander tax.
It doesn't but he still needs to keep track of how many times yuriko was returned to the command zone
As a Yuriko player..... :p
She didn’t win but those triggers were doing work.

Agreed. They both played very well. This is my favorite Muddstah video just for all the good, tight plays.
Hell yeah, been searching for some sweet sweet Yuriko games recently
Yuriko's ability is so terrifying, Especially if the player has a card such as sensai's diving top in play! Great game as always Muddstah! 😃
Scroll Rack is another terrifying combo wombo!!!
Some fine final turns. Exciting to watch 😁
Man just the opening 3 minutes of this game was BRUTAL for you man lol
Love your personalized Krenko alter!
Thats wild Krenko never hit the table long enough to go off. He needs a universal haste key at all times.
That yuriko deck was sweet tho
Peter made some amazing plays and some really weird threat assessments.
Are you hype for the new 5 color mystform ultimus style commander that's in modern horizons?
It's too expensive in terms of mana for his deck, I believe, so it's probably not replacing Ultimus anytime soon.
I wonder how it's ability interacts with Fist of Suns?
It discounts from the WUBRG, making it 0.
Same for Jodah
@@DarkEinherjar noice.
Peter kinda forgot he could flash his field out and damn did that commander ninjitsu do some work
Well considering yeva wasn't in play for most of the game he really couldn't flash his creatures out all that much
Dan Cook He could have saved scavenging ooze, which would have been huge by the end of the game, giving Peter the win.
Plain 100% agree, greens biggest weakness is committing to the board. Scooze after a board wipe is just tasty
He was playing this way to try to get his enchantment to flip. People just kept stopping him.

Yuriko died, thats all i want to see. Adam played this game so well. Peter could have easily attacked Scott or Adam, i think he played to defensive.
Activating Mikokoro to stop Yuriko from making everyone lose 11 life was awesome.
That Dr. Strange Mat Tho!
Great game. Lots of back and forth. RIP Krenko, maybe next time!
Mikokoro stopping the temporal trespass trigger was amazing. otherwise it would have been a quick game
New snow covered mountains
Loved the music this episode
Beautiful game
New music is absolute fire.
My favorite intro!
Loved the background battle music
The actual noise is back! ya!

So many Krenko games ;) !
Andrew/Muddstah: Kept you waiting huh? :3
I feel like if Peter just attacked and killed Adam first instead of Muddstah he could have won. Muddstah was not a threat at that point.
Thank you for krenko

I cried at all the value the player with the Yisan lost...
Whats the ruling on snow covered lands? Why can you have more than one of them? Are they basics?
They're basics.

gotta have my daily monday generic goblin noise. Them spicy Modern horizon spoils ;)
Some oathbreaker gameplay?
try playing oathbreaker guys that will be a blast!!!!!
Yuriko is so powerful with Modern Horizons
Had Peter swung all in at Adam instead of Andrew, Andrew would still be durdling and Adam's board wouldn't be so domdominant
Can't like this comment enough
That Yuriko deck was spicy. Too bad it lost to mardu control -.-
sorry you didn’t get to play, Muddstah :/ that’s always frrustrating
I'm surprised Peter didnt let you live and instead attack Adam, I'm assuming politics arent a thing sometimes xD

the HATE for yuriko is REAL!
It's losing life. Not damage
Peter is a lil bit OCD with his cards
First comment! What's up and how's it's going MTGMuddstah?!?!
Why peter killed muddstah is beyond me. Terrible assessment
You seem rather squishy.
Yeva player casts creatures at sorcery speed. Weird flex

Growing Rites is no longer on the list, but Growing Rites was never played around. You're supposed to spring the boardstate before your turn.
Not a big fan of that Yuriko deck. I might be biased because I have my own Yuriko.
Top level game play right here. Yuck.
Man I genuinely hate Yuriko every time I see it lmao
HAHAHAHAHAAAA!
I have never seen a player playing as bad as Peter. He didn’t attack for so many turns! He didn’t flash his creatures also.. I don’t understand why
Maybe he just recently built the deck and is still learning not to play the game at sorcery speed.
Yes probably. But still any player should know that Ninja is good and that green beasts should swing all the time.
