Yes and no. Really the only difference is that he wouldn't have gotten the extra tapped land at eot, because the reef reveal part of the ability is a may, so he can draw it and play it un tapped.
That's the thing about a value deck like Yarok tends to be, everyone knows that you'll get a boatload of immediate value using stuff like Villainous Wealth from all the ETBs.

Sultai is one of my favorite card combos! I have a disgustingly powerful Kadena deck that I rarely play due to my playgroup hating it out (I don't blame them). I would love to see another episode like this but with the bant color combination! Bant is my go-to color combo

This is why I love Kadena. She's just got so much value. A free creature spell and a draw is unbeatable. Plus if you have one of the many cards granting Flash opportunities (Leyline of Anticipation, Vivienne, Orerry) then you've got 4 cards per round at least if you also don't play /other/ morphs. Even without those, Seedborn Muse and a Scroll of Fate come in the pre-con so there's even more value.
What a beautiful game of EDH with 4 decks that play the three most beautiful colors of MtG!!!! Highly appreciate such an upload! But man... Yarok is soooooooooo ridiculous! All that value!!!!! Nice to see Kadena work well... I like her design a lot and that card draw sure is nothing to disregard.
at 8:30 when you got a Polluted Delta from the Risen Reef trigger you had to put it in play tapped so that you werent able to fetch there which means you couldnt cast the Spark Double there.
To be fair, Muldrotha is not a very favorable matchup against Rayami, and a lot of people build Muldrotha (and Tasigur, for that matter) already... Seeing only recent Sultai commanders is refreshing.
Idk if other people caught it but, Dictate of Erebos does nothing while Rayami is on field as Rayami replaces death triggers with exile=> stuff doesn't die => doesn't trigger dictate.
would love to do this for all colour parings not back 2 back mind you but once in a while an only naya or (insert other colour combo) game would be fucking nice, think the craziest game would be an all bant game because theres many directions to go with it (bounce, enchantments, voltron)
I have no idea wy Max was focused so hard. He basically did next to nothing the entire game and got hated out by everyone (except Andrew - you're the best!) Could it be some kind of Commander Vendetta between the three players?
I don't know the rules regarding morphs very well, but wouldn't Ben morphing his creature cause the Treachery trigger to fizzle? As the target was a morph, which no longer exists as it's a normal creature now?
No; the target is still the same permanent (game object), which was a creature (legal target) upon Target and upon Resolution. The creature changed its characteristics; it did not get replaced with a new or different permanent entirely. This is different than had it been blinked in response.
Good game, great to see all Sultai decks. But as others have said, the music for this video is unpleasant and distracting. Please stick to more mellow tunes as this particular track detracts from my enjoyment of your commentary and the video overall.
Tbh I think Animar is the better morph deck. Sure Kadena draws a card and gets one morph for free, but Animar gets you all morphs for free at some point. Also hes harder to remove.
If the other three decks had been Mimeoplasm, Muldrotha, and Sidisi, Brood Tyrant, the Rayami player would have been the arch enemy from the start, I guess 😂...

Did Martin ever explain why he kept swinging at Max, who had no presence in the game, rather than Ben? He had a flying Rayami and twice could have attacked Ben, but chose to attack Max. What the fuck?

Rayami is pretty fun when you can amass all those keywords. The main downside is just that he/she/it's power is not big enough for usual voltron shens

I feel like Dictate of Erebos is not compatible for Rayami...when a creature were to die, it gets exiled instead, so it shouldnt trigger the dictate.

That treachery play untapping ten lands was wrong I’m pretty sure, treachery enters and triggers, then takes control, text order matters.
The creature changes controllers upon the aura's resolution, so by the time it triggers, Yarok was already under his control.

Rayami is kinda Kalitas, traitor of ghet with more colors; fill the deck with triple/double keywords creatures and good to go.
