Thats this channels players in a nutshell. Mans really used a removal spell on the braids player when the elf player dropped cradle, henge and other shit. Dude just gave him the W at that point. Also the random counter on the cryptghast made no sense as well as the supreme verdict nuking his own life.
@@fallsenseless9699 I was thinking the same thing. Mono green literally had the win on board so of course the Mardu player throws two pieces of removal at the mono black player. Just. What?
Mono-colored decks do mono-colored things, but I was really impressed with both Dihada and your take on Jodah! Dihada's been such a solid midrange value kind of commander for me (working as lifegain, reanimator, ramp, and card advantage engines all in one card), and I think it's super cool to see Jodah doing something other than just legendary creature cascade. I've wanted to do a 5-color background commander for a while and was using the Stranger Things friends forever to do so, but I do think that Jodah is not only stronger but a little more fun since you can basically play it as enchantress and all. Good job with that one!
green elfball never a threat until they hit their critical mass and then entire table gets wiped. as much as max and felix were consistently archenemies all game, they let seb go off without much resistance
It seems that you could make quite a lot of braids, given the hairlines on the commanders here. Also a ton of sacrifice recursion shenanigans. That too.
I know you're still working on the list for Jodah, I read the descriptions, but have you considered cards like Bastion Protector? Something to give Jodah indestructible and hexproof can really make it hard to get rid of him. Though I know it's hard to add cards like that when his trigger can put them at the bottom of your deck
The sac is a cost of the ability and happens as part of placing the ability on the stack. As the Slip resolves it sees the creature Death having happened and it’s morbid modal resolves.
5:28 Why do I feel like you make obvious narration mistakes on purpose, just to get angry nerds in the comments saying "YoU aRe A dUmB bUtT hURRRR dURRRR".
i find it funny how braids drew so many cards but nothing had the table be prepared for the last mono green turn
That Aurelia turn would have been pretty juicy if the indestructible Krenko wasn't mistakenly killed by Supreme verdict!
Yay! I'm so glad the opening hands are back!!! 🥰
I have a Braids list of my own and I absolutely love her. Most consistent and voluminous card draw I've ever had in EDH.
I have a braids arisen nightmare deck and it consistently draws more cards than my mono blue braids deck, it’s so absurdly strong for so little
This might be one of the most unique takes I've seen on Jodah. I might have to give this a whirl
Thanks! I'm really enjoying it.
Post the list please! I’m intrigued too
17:31 when you REALLY want to make sure everyone's dead
I think that Jodah deck is my favorite deck you've made thus far. Good work! Looking forward to seeing the list
I tried Braids in my clues deck and the other day, she drew me like 8 cards before she was caught in a board wipe. She is crazy good.
I love December with Andrew. I reminder watching the Saturday game back on my senior AP environmental deck nearly four years ago. Oh, how time flies.
Wild how elves tutored for Gaeas cradle and got to untap with a huge board and everyone focused everyone else

5:30 in my dihada deck Teshar is an angel too, Andrew
December really is magical Christmas land when Muddstah posts 3 times a week! Thank you Andrew!

Who would have thought Jodah had such a complicated back story.
He's lived a long time. He's gotta keep busy somehow!
Why the rec sage goes on the talisman of a 3 color player and not the lantern of a 5c player?
The 5 color player had dual land, shock and fetch. destroying the lantern wouldn't have affected him.
@@seb4856 trust me... limiting the amount of mana avaliable to a jodah its 10000% gonna affect him..
Never take your eyes off of green.

Added braids to my Dihada deck love it so much lol
Sat down at the table with braids last night and after turn three had a huge bullseye on my head
Awesome match love the braids deck

What inspired you to do backgrounds with Jodah? Its a really interesting take!
*Marwyn at the table*
Welp, ggs everyone.
Hey Andrew, keep up the good content.
Was wondering if you play with proxies or do you own the original cards ?
cheers

I have the Green one that gives +2/2 and hexproof in the 99
Winer?
yeah braids is going in my ayara deck ASAP
When braids player sacs the seer then slips, doesn't slip go on stack first so no morbid and only -1?
The sac is a cost of the ability and happens as part of placing the ability on the stack. As the Slip resolves it sees the creature
Death having happened and it’s morbid modal resolves.
Didnt Felix uptick dihada to make krenko indestructible? that supreme verdict shouldn't have killed it
Oh wow. The mono green deck won off BOTH the same two win cons it always uses… good game, but the win was a bit, I don’t know, expected?
I'm pretty sure if the mono green player won via Thassa's Oracle, we'd have a bigger problem.
braids is such a good black card :)
I petition you to give us the list for Jodah!
I need that Jodah decklist!!! It looks too fun not to build!!
Pitching mana drain to force of will just…hurts fsr
Jodah looks like fun! I have a 5 color najeela deck which is just 5 color good things
Braaaiiiidddddddssss
Nothing says mudstah game like countering a cryotghast just to then be hit with a tutor💀
Elves...
"wins through combat"
Well this is rare!
Please just give me the Jodah deck list already! I want to try it so badly lol.

Youve said it a couple times now, I know you arent American, but the word is pronounced “Click” not “cleek”
I wonder if seb is seb McKinnon
Teshar is no angel
Can't spell "overkill" without "ok"
I see Marwyn I auto-like
I see many mana rocks, I wonder 🤔
I feel the same way.
@@maxbodifee3263 I hope it's done to reduce its power since a decently made Marwyn stomps tables in a few turns.
