Many Magic The Gathering players ask the question, 'Why did Professor show his morph and not block with his deathtouch?' Answers: an accident, and senility.
Or instead of swinging out with the 14/14's you could've wrathed the board. Just copy chainer again, cast bane and flip for x=10, which was the max you could do.

@Enrique San Pedro Have you ever heard of Commander? It's that MtG format that's supposed to make fun. But what am I even talking? Just be some hardcore player and wreck everyone's face ain't I right?
Enrique San Pedro what a cringy rant. Unfortunately the players in these games don’t have the powerful ability known as hindsight that us viewers leaving comments get. Easy to point out mistakes when you can see the entire game before commenting And god forbid players make mistakes and/or decisions that aren’t always optimal. Cause that’s what everyone’s goal is in every situation when making a show for entertainment.... optimal strategic gameplay. 🙄
So... what this episode teaches me is don't poke a sleeping bear. Prof just seemed to be trying to annoy the most powerful player at the table, then was surprised when he was her target... It seemed like Josh managed to pull ahead largely by staying out of everyone else's politics and squabbles.

Also, Jimmy’s logic checks out on how he could’ve gotten way more appendages.
the prof was the one who got me watching you guys in the first place. good to see him back.
Watching this was great when I saw all those bugs all I could think about was Starship Troopers where the marines have to hold out against so many bugs.
Only a dead bug is a good bug ... do you want to learn more ?
49:50 Josh is Thanos confirmed
Prof: Plays Kadena, Ssssssslinking Sssssorceror. Jimmy: "I'm getting flashbacks!" Me: No, that's Josh's job!
Prof: "It's Morphin' Time!"
Me: *dies laughing*
If your dead then how did you make this uncreative comment?
The Professor: "It's morphing time!"
Me: "Wait did he...oh I love you professor haha"
"It's MORPHING TIME!!" - Professor. Goddammit Prof., now I gotta make a morphing deck and just so I can say that.
This was a good episode. Fun players. Fun decks. Nobody got mana-screwed and everybody got to play cool stuff. 👌👌
no it wasn't. Nobody enjoys watching people playing cookie cut precons.
@@retardo9633 Guess I'm a nobody then
I love watching the prof. Haven't finished the episode yet, but won't be disappointed.
did not expect josh to win . see this is truly commander . not the broken combo fest power creep that free edh is . everyone on a somewhat equal levels deck wise ! great vids guys always my favorite edh each year
Its lady danger a jojo reference. She is kinda look like jolyne kujo the hair style at least
I was thinking the exact same thing!
Maybe She is a JoJo fan and we don't know
Is it à jojo reference ?!?! Haha
Best editting on UA-cam. Great to watch. Very impressed by the quality.
For JLK’s question at 55:32, it’s an application of the binomial distribution: there are 5 repetitions of the same aleatory trial, whose probability is 0,5. So n=5 and p=0,5, and the probability of not winning any of the rolls is equal to 0,03125, so nearly 3% chances. You are really able to complain, Josh.
Anyway, it’s always a pleasure to watch those game knights shows, great guests, a lot of things happen, keep it going!
I'd like to see the Instructor from Tolaria State University invited some day :)
7:32 Professor when someone plays a 3 mana commander on turn 3. "That was fast!"
I have that deck, and it honestly is very fast. A 3 mana commander is pretty great
I love this channel and game knights! I collected MTG back in 1994 and 1995.....recently purchased 2019 game night set and merciless rage commander set and I’m a total noob but I have learned the basics and I love the content of this channel. Keep up the great work guys!
Spoilers ahead
Couldn't Prof just make a chainer copy again because he still had the counter on him, re cast the boardwipe morph for free, and then un morph it that turn?
At 2 life and against three decks containing red, he knew that was probably going to be his last turn regardless, so he decided to at least take someone down with him. I respect that.
Yes
@Enrique San Pedro Have you ever heard of Commander? It's that MtG format that's supposed to make fun. But what am I even talking? Just be some hardcore player and wreck everyone's face ain't I right?
well then his volrath would be a 7/5 and not a 14/14
Enrique San Pedro what a cringy rant. Unfortunately the players in these games don’t have the powerful ability known as hindsight that us viewers leaving comments get. Easy to point out mistakes when you can see the entire game before commenting
And god forbid players make mistakes and/or decisions that aren’t always optimal. Cause that’s what everyone’s goal is in every situation when making a show for entertainment.... optimal strategic gameplay. 🙄
What do I hate about Game Knights?
THERE AREN'T ENOUGH OF THEM!
19:08 “I’m going to play this wonderful morph card that nobody can see at all as i hold it up facing all you other players” 👹
Pokey Clawz 19:01
he need some magic 101
I love this channel and all the content you guys produce, keep it up
Thanks for providing the highest quality commander content in the world. Keep it up, and remember Jimmy & Josh “You both rock”.
at 19:01 prof shows what his morph is to everyone.
thank you for also noticing
So... what this episode teaches me is don't poke a sleeping bear. Prof just seemed to be trying to annoy the most powerful player at the table, then was surprised when he was her target...
It seemed like Josh managed to pull ahead largely by staying out of everyone else's politics and squabbles.
I just fell from my chair from laughing so hard when I heard the professor say "who is going to make all my opponents VERY SULTAI indeed."
You guys and prof basically are the reason why I am getting into the game. Really wish I had this content back when I had less responsibilities lolol
"Every single year they are just getting better and better". Do you live in a nother universe than me Jimmy?!
I can't believe that you guys posted this on my birthday! Great job. Thanks so much for what you guys do, you inspire me to brew cool and fun decks almost every day
1/32 is the probability that you do not get an extra turn (on 5 rolls). Thanks for another great episode. Game Knights is always fantastic.
"I'm about to go out in a burst of flames! I go quietly into that night-
not."
"very well. I Will make note if it"
HAHAHAHA I love the professor
Finally gotten around to watching this, but before I start I just want to say a HUGE thanks to all of the cast and crew who make this show the best commander viewing experience on the net :)
The editing and graphics and sound are second to none.
EDIT: The animations on the cards are amazing :D
The Prof is my second favorite ranger now
4:38 “It’s morphing time!” Lol I can’t 😆
i know this video is old but I love watching these game knight videos, but did anyone notice how Prof literally held up the card he was about to morph to everyone after he sacked both landscapes. lmao just held it up before playing it facedown. it was priceless. You guys are absolutely great.
Lol, I like how professor showed us his ainok survivalist when he played it 😂😂
First command zone. Really like how this is edited sorta reality tv style but actually good.
I love Game Knights!! You guys always have great guests, Cassius Marsh and The Professor being two of my favorites. I love the animations and all the effort and fun in your videos! You guys are great at showing and explaining the cards so that I can follow what's going on every step of the way, even with cards I've never seen before. This is a very enjoyable series, I can't believe I didn't find it sooner, and I will use your affiliate links to support your channel! I'm looking forward to more! Thank you for your quality content!
I loved the M.U.T.O roars for the giant appendage. Lmao. Great episode as usual.
