Yeah it’s good to see they are just like we were at that age ain’t much difference except events and progression tho we cannot except all the changes are great we know as people we are great 🌍✌🏼
Beautiful reaction video… this music transcends all cultural differences, languages, & statuses… great performance, awesome reactions. We are all blessed by the feelings provided by this music
I remember being in a traffic jam, and Heard man listening to this on his radio the song, we both put up radios and air drumsticks and Woman to my left tapped her horn, and all three of us went together on the air drums. Was cool and fun.
I'm curious if you are aware how difficult playing the drums and singing with the quality that Phil Collins does actually is. Singing with that quality of voice is not easy abd when you are exerting yourself with the physical effort of drumming makes it almost impossible. He is an amazing talent and although time has taken its toll he should never be forgotten.
Good Reaction Ladies and NOW you see why he was stalling.. lol I saw his FIRST ever Top Of The Bill performance with his previous GrouGenesis, exactly 50 years ago in 1972 and now Phil has retired due to ill health and is in a wheelchair so make the most of EVERY day Guys..
Listening, or rather EXPERIENCING this song is like your first ever hit of the most addictive drug: you'll never be able to recapture the exhilaration of the first time, but you will gladly chase the dragon trying to. This live version is epic!!!!!
It was beautiful watching you girls react to an amazing performance from my generation. The audience was absolutely mesmerized. Let's also give credit to Phil's band - including Daryl Stuermer on guitar and Leland Sklar on bass.
I'm glad y'all got to hear this. When I was a kid, we went cruisin' a lot, pre 9/11 when gas was maybe a buck thirty a gallon. Pre cell phones, those were for rich kids and we all lived in the backwoods. This song would come on, and when the drums hit, it might as well be required that EVERYONE in the car did the drums, including the driver. And a lot of times, we would be at a red light and people in cars next to us would be singing along too, tuned into the same station. And then we'd ALL wind up pounding it out. BUMBUMBUMBUM DUM DUM DUM. Then we'd all exchange a smile, laugh and a wave when the light turned green, and we'd be on our way. I really miss that kind of shit, honestly.
What I love about this live version is the long buildup. You keep wait for the song to start. Then he starts sing and walks you thru the song. Then he drops the drums and you’re somewhere else entirely. Then he ends it and like the beginning when you don’t know when he going to start you don’t know when he will stop. Then silence. Epic.
Great reaction 😂. You did not stop it and that was awesome-!!! ITF anybody hearing this doesn't move or get goosebumps your heart ain't pumping😂😂😂. Ladies go to his Paris '04 his First Farewll Tour - your brains 🧠 will explode😂😂😂
FANTASTIC!! Before he had his own band he was a drummer in the band Genesis. At the time Peter Gabriel was the lead singer there but decided to leave. Phil Collins voice is incredible & also playing the drums, brilliant!! 💖💖
Phill Collins, he played drums for Genesis Progressive rock band all his life, and he was back vocals too, when Peter Gabriel left the band , Phill take the control and he sang on live and studio performances, playing drumms too, theres always a second drummer on live shows, Chesther Thompson and another great drummer Bill Bruford from Yes progressive rock band. He´s top ten drummer on the 70´s, sharing scene with Carl Palmer (ELP), John Bonham (Led Zeppelin), Ian Paice ( Deep Purple), Biil Bruford (Yes) , Alan White ( Yes), among other awesome drummers of this golden period of music.
You're reactions were fabulous. The girls on either end, when the drums kicked in are amazing and the girl in the middle was cool beyond measure. Excellent reaction, girls.
And he did this with a crowd of 80,000, but they were very good behaver-ed for him but I don't think that I have ever heard the applause so loud, that they gave him at the end of his performance....
I heard Phil Collins did a New Years Eve show somewhere they timed the intro to this song and when the drums came in, the clock struck midnight, very drumstick
Phil Collins here a couple u might to tap into. Genesis - Mama 1990 live, Genesis- take me home, live also (better live) (also Bone Thugs done version too "home") tap in have a listen. Very talented guy enjoy
You can't hide a good soul. Wonderful young ladies. You know when someone feels this song. You can't fake that. They made me smile today. Nothing is better than that in life.
If you ladies would like to react to an amazing performance with out of this world audience participation- Do 'Fix You' by Coldplay, LIVE in Sao Paulo. It will blow your mind. 🤘🤘🤘
Unfortunitely girls you missed the whole point of the song. You were right into the music and the composition of the song and his voice (all great things). But you missed out on the lyrics. This was the title sonf of the album he wrote during his divorce after comming home after a tour and find his wife was having at least one affair on him. Listen again to the first bits of the lyrics. 'If you were drowning I would not lend you a hand", "I remember the first time, the last time we ever met", "the pain doesn't show, but the pain still grows". Too many people focus on the music and the vibe and totally miss the true meaning of the song contained in the lyrics. But I'm glad you still saw him, i think it was less than 2 yrs after this that he passed away ( my dates could be wrong".
God has put his seal of approval on this song only because we are going to meet Jesus in the air at any moment and that is called the rapture!!! Are you rapture ready??? 🌈🕊️🆙🕊️🌈
This link is the very start of that concert with the drum's solos of all three playing the drums of one kind or another.....ua-cam.com/video/81rWqhN5jE4/v-deo.html
No matter how many times I listen to this song i still get goosebumps up and down my entire body
It stirs the soul no matter how unaware of mind set you are, medea full of LOGOS (Greek) Many regards sent across the Real-M
@@ordinarybear7037 was I talking to you no I wasn't so mind your fucking business
As an old guy, it was so awesome to see young people enjoy that as much as those of us who have heard this thousands of times
Yeah it’s good to see they are just like we were at that age ain’t much difference except events and progression tho we cannot except all the changes are great we know as people we are great 🌍✌🏼
Thank you for your reaction girls. Loved seeing you when he started playing his drums. He is a living legend!

Slight correction WILL never be forgotten
You have a chance to enjoy the art of the 'slow build'. Something that is rarely done these days.
Now that was a great reaction

He's still alive , aged 71
I don't think phil Collins has passed away yet, he uses his son to play drums as he has had spinetrouble.
@@skayc1 You are right Sharon, but the last performance listed on Wikipedia was March 2022 when he said on stage 9it was the last show Of Genisis.
Can U ladies react to Culture Club's number 1's hit from 1983 "Church Of The Poison Mind"? Thanks
Agnes
I'm not sure you understand the depth of the song and the level of talent he has
God has put his seal of approval on this song only because we are going to meet Jesus in the air at any moment and that is called the rapture!!! Are you rapture ready??? 🌈🕊️🆙🕊️🌈
Next time listen to the song, you didn't hear (listen to) a word of it. Shows attention span limits
Isn't God's creation wonderful. Humans and Beautiful creations.
