I’m always looking for basic balance movements and these are amazing. I love that you gave us 3 we can do anywhere and only one is standing on 1 leg. Good to recognize that feet close together is a great balance challenge. You rock!
67..and walk 4-5 miles a week. Added walking backwards..1/2 mile. It has improved my balance like I cannot explain. I do it on a Astro turf field, in case of accidents. Never fallen. Try it!! 😊
I have a lot of off balance, feeling like I’m nit feeling the right, sensations of falling, floor moving and been told it vestibular disorders. Will these help with these sensations? It causes anxiety and I’ve had this for 9 yrs. I really appreciate your sharing this video. Thank you
This is great! I'll add that when I was in PT a few years ago after a fairly serious back injury followed by 4 months of PT, I also acquired a wobble-board and worked on standing on one foot in the center of that... really improved my balance issues.
I will certainly try it first thing in the morning.I was bed ridden for quite a while due to over dose of medicines for my anxiety.I am walking again and having trouble keeping my balance . Hope these exercises will help in balancing my self .
75 year old here. I can stand with my feet together for 30 seconds. My PT has me looking left and right during the first 30 seconds, then up and down the next 30 seconds, then I repeat each. But standing with one foot in front of the other? I last only a few seconds. So frustrating!
A doctor who deals with brain injury told me to stand on my left leg which I had balance problem, and my brain will find a quicker path to allow me to stand as you did at the end, sure enough after about 3 weeks I could stand on just my left leg with my right raised up, brain is clever.
