I really think I might pull the trigger on this. Super neat. PSA is ambitious to be building brand new 5.56 NATO firearms in 2022, changes the pace given how old things like the SCAR-L, ACR, AUG, have become, and the price of things like the Robinson Defense....
@@beekeepersjourney8192 by removing the buffer detent entirely it looks like. Missed opportunity. They could have machined a notch into that plug where you turn it in to the point the pin snaps into the notch, just like a standard buffer. It can't turn after that without sheering off the pin.
Plz make JAKL upper with REAR plate, so 3D printed PET-G lowers can be used with no stress on them. Defeat ATF 2021 rule overnight. Please make it for 308 platform especially for new .277 Fury used in Army new M5.
I really wish my JAKL had come with this adaptor and a stock other than the F5. Since it didn't I'm now spending at additional $500 on this adaptor and a stock that retains the overall shape of the F5 but is actually made well, the B&T stock from Haga. It would also be cool if you guys could get your warehouse in order. I ordered both the Haga sock and PSA 1913 adaptor at the same time. The Haga stock is set to arrive tomorrow. Your adaptor hasn't even shipped yet. It's not 2010 anymore, items taking a week or more to arrive is no longer acceptable.
Will the picatinny adapter work on a PA-10 lower? I'm starting a lower build to be ready when the .308 JAKL uppers start shipping. I feel like it should fit...
Might be a silly question, but would I be able to put a Jakl upper on a standard AR lower that has a buffer tube and does NOT have that threaded adaptor in place? From what I see on the structure of a Jakl, I assume that the bolt carrier won't fly into the buffer tube when operating even if without the blocking, but I can be wrong. The answer can affect my decision on which lower and configuration I should go with. Thx
Im looking forward for this one problem. With the PSA JAKL RIFLE LOWER BUILD KIT MOE SL EPT F5 STOCK, FDE come with that BUFFER WITH BRACE/STOCK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY?
but then, why? My 300blk pistol already does that, why spend $700 more for a Jakl to do the same thing? Losing the length of the buffer system is THE purpose. Also zero doubt one could make this, without the stupid plastic part, easily and cheaply, the specs are known if it's true milspec, I bet those machined anodized aluminum plugs are $5 online, in your choice of color or design. Bolt, rubber washer, donezo. Which is what you'll have to do as the parts are chronically sold out.
How do I properly install the f5 stock when purchased separately? I installed it (I thought right) but I am unfortunately having ejection and reload issues that I think is a gas issue but not fixable with the adjustable gas block. Worked perfectly with my J customs skeleton stock. Please help 😢😢
I installed just as you did above, the first time, but the first piece that is threaded in (with a flat head) was ridiculously tight and required way too much force, stopping it about 1 full thread from being flush. Could this be my problem? Stock installed fine just with a minor gap between f5 stock and my lower.
Use rocksett not locktite on any firearm. The heat will break it down overtime. PSA You should be using Rocksett for and threaded components that need to be locked down without a pinned lockset
Tbh I don’t see why loctite is necessary on the buffer adapter. Those ears would prevent it from backing out. If anything, I’d loctite the small Allen head screw.
So my question is, do this and lose an entire lower that's now dedicated, and send PSA $700, OR skip all this hassle and pay 2x for a CMMG Dissent that mounts instantly on any lower with no proprietary parts, alterations, or custom work. Easy choice as these proprietary parts are always sold out.
@@imitenotbe like all other uppers, like the CMMG Dissent that replaces this. Base requirement of an AR upper is it can be taken off your gun and put on ANY other AR lower, otherwise it's NOT an AR upper. It's modularity is about the only thing it has going for it, and the ability of that to skirt idiotic regulations.

we need the jackal in 300 Blackout
7 inch barrel with a 1/5 twist would be 😍🤩
8.2" is my choice. But I'll take anything from 5.5-10.5 in it. Just give it to us!
When that one releases I’m buying it

i love my 14.5 Jakl! its accurate and shoots smooth for a long stroke piston gun. keep up the good work PSA
Can't wait to get my hands on one!
You'll love it!
I've been waiting 2 years for this
It's here!! lol
I love the Citadel ring! getting mine this Friday. Go Dogs!
I was wondering what that was! Thought he won a superbowl 😂
You guys should have utilized the buffer detent to prevent the adapter from walking out
No kidding, how did you get it to sit flush?
Please explain

With the rear buffer adapter and Jakl bolt catch, will the Jakl upper work on a Radian or LWRC full ambi lower?

Can I use any picatinny stock adapter (like the KNS) for the upper to work with a milspec lower or will it only work with this kit?
It would be so cool if they made jakl in 8.6 blackout
Nice ring!
Congrats on your superbowl win
Do you know if the FAB podium bipod will fit on the Jakl?

Thus it need to be torque to spec or hand tight and blue loctite?
Will there be a carbine version made?
Can the jakl go on any ambi lowers like an LMT MARS, Forward Controls LRF, etc?
Now will a standard ACR stock fit that adapter?
a hudred for this adapter is a bit high no? i thought it would be more like 60.. since you still have to buy the pricey upper

Where can we buy the trunion kit ? I want to buy the upper , but will need this.

Can you provide a disassembly video in order to remove the picatinny and attach the F5 ACR style stock?
Reverse order of assembly
So... whats up with the side wings on that adapter anyway? Would be nice if they were not there.
would the Jakl upper work with the BRN180 lower receiver?
Does the upper work with BRN180 lower?
Can we run a buffer tube with brace/stock on it instead of that plug and pic rail?

Is there a timeframe for when the 300blk uppers might be available?
Yea when they get to it plus or minus 3 years.
Mine came in the mail yesterday
When will this along with the upper be available for sale?
they are now available on their website palmettostatearmory.com/jakl.html
When can we expect to see the kits on the website?
VERY soon!
They are currently available on the PSA website
