DAMN that was a quick reaction from PSA about this little issue! My confidence went up , this is gonna be a great rig .. I really want a upper kit I can't wait for Phase Upper from PSA. I got two lowers sitting in my closet right now just waiting.. I want a pistol AND a 14.5" / 16" bbl carbine
@@PalmettoStateArmoryVideos I got a bunch of AR uppers from PSA .. from Freedom to FN Barreled high end uppers, free float handgaurds , nickel BCGs ect I've been real happy with you guys and I'm ex 11B Infantry from the 327th and 506th 101st, back in the M16A1 and M16A2 era, you can build a SOCOM level rig with what you guys are offering and I was real surprised by that Freedom 16" kit I got from you guys,.that is a serviceable rifle right there for short money, I got way more than I paid for on that one, thanks, tell your ECO he's got his own kind out here buying from him and thanks
I love you guys, I saw a video of the JAKL yesterday and literally ordered one an hour later. Been binge watching videos on it sense😂🤘🏻I’m so excited!!
Awesome job guys. Stand up company. Gonna wait a few more months for more updates and improvements and then snag a couple. Also waiting for some custom versions.
I love PSA, I've bought a complete AR upper and lower, a gen 2 ak, and all kinds of parts from you guys. Everything has been good to go and the only issue I've had is the castle nut loosened up on the complete but was an easy fix. It was staked but must have not been done very well. The ar has around 2k rounds through it with one malfunction, mag related I think. The ak has well over 3k without a single malfunction and is holding up well. All the parts have been great.
It's things like this why I love PSA. A company/brand that actually takes the time to make things right. That's why I am not all too upset when things get pushed back (PSA5) because you know it's for a reason and they want to do things the right way.
I need a 12.5 inch. I SBR'd a lower several years ago planning on a 12.5 inch ARAK21 upper from Faxon but they have since stopped making them. I want a self contained, piston driven upper. Also, I'd like to see a charging handle on BOTH sides. I'm tired of companies just having swappable charging handles and calling them "fully" ambidextrous. I would consider that "almost" ambidextrous. Ambidextrous, at least in my mind, means you can hand it to a left hand shooter or a right hand shooter without making any changes.
Hey Matt/PSA! I love both the inovation and the in demand classics you guys are putting out. I have an idea on a rifle configuration that I feel would be very easy to assemble and very popular as nobody in the industry is doing it yet. Do you guys entertain ideas from the general public? If so, who would I reach out to? Thnx.
Is the detent and spring you pressed down on with the hammer spring standard AR spring and detent? Asking for a friend who may or may not have lost a few a time or two. Not me though… my friend. 🤫
Thats a very good change but my concern is with how easy it seems to accidentally adjust the gas setting is there any way to maybe make it more intentional to adjust?
My Jakl rifle came with an 8 position knob that looks nothing like what you are showing in the video and does not look anything like what is depicted in the insert in the manual. Can you please update this video? I have no clue what the various positions are for and how to properly adjust it and CS is of no help
That pin looks like the rest of the small detent pins in a lower. Did you guys use the same spring and detent for this design? If so thats pretty good!
@@PalmettoStateArmoryVideos we're gonna do min 1000 rounds. It's gonna see mud and water... Oh and probably some accidental cow poop when we throw it. What happens on the cow farm.... GETS FILMED

The people speak. And you listen. Good on you PSA. Keep up the good work.
Thanks so much! We try our best to be responsive.

You can't beat a company that listens to it's customers concerns. Then puts out a video showing their actions.
Thank you! We try our best!

😂you wait too long and there will likely be a bill passed preventing the sale of these. Dead serious it’s not looking good.
@@mitchgarbeno3788 For sure I’m fully aware. Not looking good at all. I’ll be more than fine either way trust me brother.

YES! Wow, such quick feedback and reaction :)
PSA is a great company
Thank you so much!!
This is why Palmetto will outlast a lot of companies in the industry...because they LISTEN to their customers...Thank you PSA
You're welcome & thank you for your support!!
Can't help but notice that Citadel ring... looking good brother! Hotel 00
Wow! A company listening to their customers…in 2022?! That’s amazing. 🦅🇺🇸
Thanks! We are trying out best!
Outstanding! I hope you folks listen about 16" barrels and maybe pistol calibers as well. I will make my order then.
A 14.5 version in 5.56 and .300 would rock.
Great work. Keep it up.
Thanks, you too!

Many have said it, but I'll add my 2 cents for the algorithm. Great job listening to feedback, PSA!!

Can't wait for mine!!!
Please make a pencil barrel. The one consistent complaint is this is a front heavy gun.
Glad I watched. Why not just use only the suppressed one?
Looks like an excellent improvement.
If there is no "OFF" position, than put my name in the that.
It's definitely a good setup. With the current offerings, there is no "OFF" position. That may come on future customized knobs.
PSA you guys need to have custom barrels so customers can buy after market barrels or swap out to other barrels sizes.

That's great. But what. If I fall. Off a roof???
Thats a very good change but my concern is with how easy it seems to accidentally adjust the gas setting

i just bought my jakl from psa december 2023 so why did i get a gun that has the old gas block if yaw changed them a year ago?
Put a divot on the plunger so we can use a round to dis-assemble
I recently purchased a 300 BO version and it did not come with a "suppressor plunger". Was I supposed to recieve an extra plunger?
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼
can you make more so its in stock for more then 30 seconds lol keep up the great work!
LOL they are assembling new ones every day. Eventually things will level out. Thanks for your support!

So when are we getting a left handed version of the jackal Because I hate brass near my face
Are the 300 blackout Jakl's coming in larger barrel lengths(10.5 or 12")?
What is PSA doing in Myrtle Beach?
New store in the works 😁🇺🇸
@@PalmettoStateArmoryVideos i hope you guys put in a shooting range too!
Will that be called the Mack detent 🤔😂
My jakl isn’t cycling subs I have a dead air primal using ammo incorporated subs any advice?

Yep, just a different bolt catch
@@PalmettoStateArmoryVideos Are the spring and detent retained? Or do we have to be careful not to lose them during the disassembly process?
Nice. Are y’all still planning on making ak ammo?
Is this a normaar 15 barrel?
And now a pistol in 4,6*30, pls!
Any other caliber and I’m in 👍
Lots of things in the works 😁
How about a 308 version ?!?
Matt, is that a Citadel ring? I'm Citadel 77
Yep, he went to the Citadel 👍 🇺🇸
Is that a standard ar15 barrel?
Hope your ready to see me and my customers torture this gun when I get mine next weekend :)

So what ever happened to the AK that accepted AR mags and had the AR style controls? Seems like you guys haven't said a word about it for a few years now.
The AK 5.56 has been released and I saw a few for sale a few days ago.
They've been selling it, it's come in stock a few times. Check out their AK 5.56
It's on the website. Go to the AK tab, then you'll see it listed as AK 5.56 in the bottom row. They sell out quick!
Awesome
In stock yet???
What makes this different from a traditional AR/AR pistol?
Almost like a AR15 and and AR180 had a baby
