NEW PRODUCT: PSA JAKL | 300 Blackout 14.5in

- Опубліковано 4 лип 2024
- The Palmetto State Armory JAKL is coming in a 300 Blackout rifle configuration. This comes with a 14.5in barrel P&W in black and FDE options. The new JAKL uppers now have additional venting cuts to reduce heat buildup in the rail.
The complete rifle will come with a P&W 14.5 barrel. The standalone upper will not be P&W, so if you plan to attach this to a lower with a stock, you'll need to have the muzzle device pin-and-welded before assembly to reach the minimum 16in barrel length.

308 Jakl when?
waiting for that mp7 style
8... 308. Not 300.
They all already have it in 308... smh. . My question would be where is Krinkov in 5.45
@@IvanRossS no they don't. 308 hasn't been released.
I just want a 308 Jakl
Love the Jakl! 13.7 with extended handguard upper plz!
Noted!
@@PalmettoStateArmoryVideos YOOOOOOOOOOOO PSA RESPONSE BEST DAY EVER
They had one, I don't know if it was a mistake, but I know they had one cause I was going to buy it, so I had to settle for a 14.5

Abolish all 3 letter agencies
Been waiting for this. 🎉
heart dropped i thought the 300blk AK was ready 😂😂😂
About time 🎉
Outstanding!
Thank you! Cheers!
This is too cool.
FINALLY. I've been wanting a 300 blackout JAKL but to me the currently available 8 inch upper is a bit too short. I find that 10+ on the length makes for a better suppressor host.
What? Only reason for a 14.5 is to pin and weld it because you don’t want to do the paperwork.
8-10.5in on 300BO makes more sense.
Happy to hear that!
@@cleetismcdougall5425 yeah what you get a 99% full burn on 8 inches
Agree. While I'm excited for this 14.5 P&W I'd also like 10.5 300BLK.
@@cleetismcdougall5425 My lower is SBR'd and longer barrels make for quieter shots. For me 14.5 takes a bit of weight off the front end and makes my rifle, keeps it quiet, no loss on ballistics, and a bit shorter with the suppressor attached. I think 11.5 or 12.5 would be perfect for me, but since the JAKL uses a proprietary barrel thats a pain in the ass to swap, I'll settle with 14.5.
This is common sense and I love to see it
Next can we get a 1/5 twist for the 8.5 barrel?
FINALLLY!!!!!!!!
I’m ready for the PSA bolt action rifle to be released
Hopefully that new upper venting shaves a few ounces off. Really my only complaint is just the weight of the whole system.
Was thinking the same thing
This is awesome! Gonna build one of these pinned and welded uppers for my dad for Christmas this year. Have there been any conversations with F5 about improving the stock? There is a lot of info coming out showing it being very soft and flexible
*SWCH* updates.
Please and thank you.
Stay classy my friends.
Given a recent review video...will the top rail be in spec...
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼
No idea why anyone is asking for longer 300blk guns... the whole entire point is that you can get optimal performance from a shorter barrel... saving weight and length
Will the new upper configuration with the updated cutouts be made for the 5.56 uppers as well ? Any time-frame on that ?
Any updates on that ACR-esque stock that you introduced in Shot Show of 2021? Are you still working on it? It came with the JAKL carbines that you are now selling, although with the F5 MFG stock (the ACR clone stock).
I have a 300BO jakl, one thing is that it certain magz will not feed rounds, the pmag 300 does not, neither will the sabre 556 mag and even some aluminum 556 magz. Lancer 300 BO and pmags in 556 do work pretty good.
I don’t have a problem with 300 pmags, in fact they are all I run in my jakl and I went through 300 rounds without a single malfunction whether it was from ammo, the mags, or the gun in general. So that might be a you problem idk.
Reach out to us on Instagram or Facebook with as much detail as possible. We'll talk with our team to see if we can figure out the issue.
@@PalmettoStateArmoryVideosfortunately i don't have any social media besides UA-cam, I'll take it to the range once this hurricane passes over and if the issue is persistent then I'll ask for help on the forum, thanks
Short Stroke JAKL next!
Cool, when will I see those DOE replicas?
yall might as well do a 762 version that'll use your new AK ammo
🧐
❤
Waiting for these rails to hit the 556 rifles.
Just a little bit of a bummer that there's not a "pistol" configuration. But, there's a 300blk available from PSA now so that's nice.
I honestly was expecting a 10inch. *Womp Womp*
Will previous customers say with the 556 13.7 P&W be able to upgrade to the new designed upper ? Since you don’t sell handguards seperate also it looks like the gas block was pushed back a bit ? Does that help with weight distribution cause I’d be very interested
Will the new larger vented Handguard be available for the 5.56 uppers?
When do we get liquid cooled barrels?
give us an STG update!
Any chance of getting the 14.5 barrel in a 13.7 hand guard and receive to save some weight and get that more ACR look?
Wen 308 jakl
Very, very soon. :)
@@PalmettoStateArmoryVideos when 5.45 krink
Would prefer a more reliable adjustable gas block.
@45Gunner556 Hey! That’s my line! What he said…. But w/optional rifled 40mm NFA barrel.
How about a "Sabre" magwell for compact dagger please.
Bullpup lowers when? 👀👀👀
🤷♂️
Did you consider that you could just focus on fixing the issues with the original jakl instead of coming out with a new one?
when will the 5.56 versions get the new venting ports?
I'm curious why there's not a 1:7 twist option for the barrels
Any update on the stg-44?
Please PSA, give it to me straight. Is the vuk still in the pipe?
YES
It’s not a no! -possibly
I still can’t get my 8.5 inch 300 blackout Jakl to cycle subs with a suppressor, even after warranty work. I would wait a bit on these imho. I own 3 jakls including the 8.5 inch 300 blackout. My el cheapo 8.5 inch PSA upper DI can cycle all day even with a flow can on the same ammo my Jakl fails to cycle.
A 14.5 pined and welded compensated for Calizuelans. Please?
Pin and weld Griffin Armament taper mount please
So, 14.5” FDE upper alone will NOT have a pin and weld muzzle system? It was stated that the black upper will not be welded. But did not specify about FDE standalone upper
There will be an upper alone option that will not be pin and welded.
@@PalmettoStateArmoryVideos for FDE and black or just black? In the video it was specified that black will have an option that doesn’t have a pin and weld. But FDE was not specified. Sorry for the confusion. My .300 BO FDE lower is an SBR and that’s why I’m wondering
Are you guys going to fix the flimsy boot stock?
Question?....is it okay to have a 300 blackout without a supressor???
Wish you guys would make a 16 jnch gun for those of us who cannot own NFA stuff
@palmettostatearmory, I have a color idea for the JAKL that would be pretty sick. Black and gray 2 tone. I made a mock up image if you’re interested in the idea.
Sounds cool!
Mp7 clone when?? I need my 5.7 mp7 clone!!!!
Pls rearden/ plan b pin and welds
Would you ever sell the ACR style stock on its own?
😏
What optic was that on the .300 blkout rifle.
8.6 Blackout?
Is it going to be mid length ?
Can we just change the barrel ourselves?
I need to add Palmetto State Armory as an authorized user on my bank account so you can just deduct and ship.

Great question. You would think they are aware of the loss of sales in restrictive states. A 8.5 and a 16 would have worked great but what do I know I'm just the end consumer. Still waiting on a 16" 300 blackout barrel.
5.45 Krinkov when ?
Drop jakl uppers without Bcg
where else you going to get a bcg for a JAKL?
@@TheCamaro5 they literally sell them separately and I already have one i bought separately genius
@@ksoplays346 why would you not just buy it with a bcg in the first place then you wouldn’t be asking this dumb ass comment. genius. The whole reason they sell them separately is for people thinking they may need one out in the fields.

50 cal JAKL when?
Looks nice. I just can't afford 300 Blackout
Can someone explain to me what pin n weld means
@@zero_to_1000 I think it means the muzzle device is a part of the barrel but IDK.
Pin & Weld means that they used a pin and welded the muzzle device to the barrel so the muzzle device cannot be removed, but it allows the barrel portion to be shorter as you now measure to the end of the muzzle to satisfy the 16" barrel requirements. If it wasn't welded, you would technically measure from the end of the barrel without the muzzle device.

Make 16 and 18 inch barrels. Absent the NFA going poof I'm NEVER going to buy "Probable Cause".
thing looks like a heater. gana burn my fingies
Wont buy without foward assist of some sort
300 blackout is meant to be 9"
I still see a lot of people say stuff like this, even today, specifically noting something about powder burn or whatever at that barrel length...but i've also seen lighter grain supersonic .300 blackout loads chrono ~2400 feet per second out of pin & weld length to 16" barrels. Depends on the grain weight and so on, but that absolutely makes for a fighting AR & deer slayer and it's directly comparable to any 7.62x39 AK variant. So barrel length and ammo choice depends what your use case will be with that AR, there isn't some magical restriction of .300 blackout beyond 9" that makes velocity and energy gains negligible. You're still gaining several hundred foot lbs and several hundred feet per second going from a 9" shooting supers to a 13.7" - 16" barrel for example.
The original use case of the cartridge doesn't really compare to what it is actually capable of today tbh. It's a very versatile option.
Way too long for a 300blk.
Yep, 8-10in barrels make more sense
For subs sure. Supers however in 110gr to 125gr really benefit from the extra barrel length. 7.62x39 energy but with excellent accuracy out to 300 and beyond.
@@tejascustoms292 if I’m shooting supersonic out to 300+ I just use an AR-10. Or dust off the 6.5 Grendel upper. 300 BO supersonic are plenty accurate 200-250 yards using a 10.5 barrel. All the powder is burned….300BO was designed for short barrels.
Too bad they arent pistols
Waiting for the 300blackout krink. My wallet is ready.
