  • Showing what I do as a Jet Tanker driver. Hopefully some of this helps someone who is thinking about getting into fuel hauling or tankers in general.

i find the fuel delivery industry to be interesting. Starting trucking career so it'll be awhile until i qualify to haul fuel in class A even though i have my hazmat/tanker all the endorsements. wish i new this before i study so much lol.

Don’t let that stop you bro. I know a few guys who started fuel tankers without any experience. They just train you really good, and probably not getting top tier pay. But it’s a start.

Pay is actually really good. It’s probably the best paying out of fuel hauling. Gas pays pretty good, but I still think Jet Fuel is a better gig. Out here in FL, prior experience is great but not mandatory.

This crazy. I’m from RI. So assuming you have all your endorsements, TWIC card and Cdl experience…the best way to do it would be to look at the local petroleum carriers in CT. Kenan is a big company and they do a variety of different things..gas, diesel, jet fuel.
