@@yobtar Even that Chonky Sarlack pit is broken into a bunch of smaller pieces so will fit on most resin printers quite easily.

Gonna say this here in hopes you see it: please use a respirator (not just a mask) when cutting MDF board or using the hot wire cutter on foam! You’re inhaling some REALLY nasty stuff when you don’t!

Jays Death Guard gotta be one of his best works and is easily my favorite Death Guard paintjob that I have seen.
The green stretched goo needs a shot of gloss varnish. That would be cool. My son hates Nurgle that is why I play them against him. LOL Defiantly building and painting this stuff.

Haven't been watching long, but have had a passive interest in 40K for a while now. Never had any intention of collecting minis or building an army, but your videos really inspired me! Bought my first box toady, Custodes Guard. Just finished gluing my captain together!
Anyway, keep up the good work - it has become some of my favorite content to ingest!
This paint scheme is so cool, eye catching from up close and from a distance.
Those death guard squaring off against a grey knight army in the style of the one you already did will look so STRIKING!

Well you have convinced me to finish my death guard army. My death guard knight army, and to paint a death guard titan.
If you are trying to match colors for terrain paint, go to Home Depot or Lowe's and have their paint department mix up a quart (or a gallon) of paint. Color matching is free and nearly instant.
Not a nurgle fan so I think my idea of death guard is misery, despair and entropy. Jay's take of chaos, joy and exuberance is pretty unique, not gonna lie.

I have a 3.5k death guard army mostly unpainted. I was nervous id mess them up. But you literally just throw paint on and it looks amazing!! Jealous of your skills brother! Keep it up!

That special yellow color you mixed up just looks like either Pro Acryl's Yellow Ochre or Golden Brown depending on the camera settings.
This does such a good job of representing Chaos Gate, beautiful work!

wordbearers and death guard are my 2 favourites. I own orcs and sisters too, but they spend more time in the dark than on the table. There's just something about Chaos that appeals to me more

More like the great pit of cough-koon! I love the idea of a nurgle sarlacc pit just exuding plague once it burrows into the ground. I imagine it starts as just a small maggot but as it absorbs the diseases it grows in size until it's stuck in the ground

The trouble with mixing pre-mixed is you can easily end up with half a dozen pigments in the final mix. The way to go for mixing is Pure Pigment, either Kimera Pure, or just high-grade artist gouache e.g. Liquitex.

I dont know if you gonna read this comment, but those eyes remind me of Jogo, from Jujutsu Kaisen, the fire guy. So they really have this daemonic look to it, very well done!!

Take your paint samples to a paint specialist store. They will analyse the paint and give you the correct pigment combo. Done.
That's all great, but doesn't really help when you still have to mix by hand

I think it look cool, BUT not for your DG army - they just disappear next to the terrain.
The yellow looks a lot like iron oxide yellow from Kimera, but that's from memory and has colour abberation of camera and screen.

Hail grandfather Nurgle! The terrain looks amazing Papa Nurgle would be proud. I don’t know why but the test piece you chose has me wondering what it would look like cast in bronze? Are the Stl’s hollow? Probably need to make a part line on that bit that goes vertical - just so it could be cast properly😉
If each marine unit had to contribute one space marine for an assembly of one chapter, what instrument would each play, would each play well with the others, would it be a legal kill team?

I purchased a new Creality FDM printer yesterday. I already have a Kossel and a Reprap style printer and two resin printers. The resin printers are great for minis but a bit overkill for large terrain pieces. I’ll have to check your Patreon out. You guys always produce really nice terrain pieces.
The resin does look extra crisp for the videos, but as for day to day gaming you will really love the FDM printer for Terrain. The terrain is lighter, cheaper, more durable. Having both machines will do you good.

Even though you're already done... I'd suggest mixing the terrain colors just a bit darker and/or desaturated than the paints you use for the models to really help the boys pop on top of the terrain, Rather than blend into it and become invisible.

death guards cool after turning to nurgle but I think I like pre nurgle death guard more idk why but their armor colors and such just look really good to me maybe it's just cause I like green also the pit of karkoon was the sarlac pit luke and co were taken to by jaba in return of the jedi
You should try using Citadels Fulgrim pink, it looks similar to the other one.

Yup should fit just fine. We cut them down so that you can print them on resin and FDM nicely. Even that Big ol Maw breaks down into a bunch of smaller pieces.

As someone who is colorblind, “I look at it and can tell it needs a little bit more orange” is the most unrelatable shit to me. I just follow what the bottle says. Great video though!
