Indian Challenger - Test Ride (WHAT an AWESOME Bike!)

- For this new motovlog my brother and I get some Wind Therapy with the Indian Challenger up in State College PA! He is interested in buying one, I'm simply riding it for fun as I'm happy with my 2018 Goldwing DCT. As an ex Harley Davidson rider who owned a Road Glide for ten years, I was particularly interested to see how the Indian Challenger compares. We also go over some of the bike's features from a common motorcyclist point of view, neither of us do bike reviews as a job!
So this video isn't a Goldwing moto vlog for a change, but we had a ton of fun with the Indian Challenger and I filmed while we were there so hopefully it was entertaining as well! I'd like to thank Best Line Powersports of State College PA for providing the Indian Challenger, they are an awesome Indian dealership.
Please post any questions down below and hit the like button if you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching my Hero 8 motovlog!

ABOUT ME:
My name is Mengy and this is my motovlogger channel, Moto Mengy. I plan to upload a new Goldwing moto vlog every Monday. I ride a 2018 Honda Goldwing DCT Tour but I rode Harley Davidson's for 25+ years before. I'm motovlogging with a GoPro Hero 8 Black mounted to a Bell Mag 9 open face helmet, no external mic! To me riding is wind therapy.
My goal for the channel is to motovlog scenic Pennsylvania roads while also motorbike exploring around America. I'll also talk about biker topics and such, probably test ride a few other motorcycles, and will definitely get lost and accidentally wind up on unpaved roads along the way.
Please SUBSCRIBE if you like my channel and LIKE any videos you enjoy! Thanks!!!

The Challenger is literally a new class of bagger. It's definitely a Victory and that is the highest compliment I could give it.
I've heard others say it's like a Victory too. I guess I really like Victory bikes then! 😎
@@MotoMengy There ya go, you've come around. Victory's mantra was "Ride one you'll own one." It wasn't as famed or acclaimed as "You meet the nicest people on a Honda," but it was true for many. Not like a Victory, but it is a bike designed and patented by Victory. The Scout was the Victory Octane before it was the Scout. The Chief line was prototyped right down to the R2D2 inner fairing on the steel framed Victory Touring Cruiser and that model was discontinued in 06 so the Chief concept has been around for a minute. Victory simply stopped production but it didn't sell or disappear. Those same engineers and workers are now designing and assembling Indians so they will be leaving footprints in the sand for some time to come. The US Patent Office is a fun place to snoop around on a rainy day.
Don't apologize about your review. I'd much rather listen to a real review like yours comparing to the bikes you own than about specs we've heard over and over. Good job...
Thanks Topshelf! I admit I prefer actual real rider reviews too, that's why I didn't do a formal spec read or such like that. There's already plenty of those on UA-cam.
finally a comparison of Challenger to Goldwing ! people who only compare Challenger to Harley are missing the point that this is indeed the Harley Goldwing. yeah it has the V-Twin of the Harley but it has many attributes of the Goldwing like Liquid Cooling, Aluminum Chassis and so on ... so it should be equally compared to both Harley and Goldwing so kudos to you guys for doing the proper comparison.
Exactly, this was my takeaway after riding the Challenger too! It just feels like a Harley Goldwing to me, which I think is incredibly awesome.
P-S...This was a really good review you guys did. Not everyone has the unbiased experience that you two do with the three heavy hitters, Harley, Gold Wing, and now a little bit of the Indian experience. Good job.
It was an enlightening test ride. Indian really impressed the crap out of us.
Hi from the UK! This is the best review of the Challenger on UA-cam and believe me, I've watched them all, I'm picking up my 2020 Challenger Dark Horse next month and this review is one of the main reasons why. Cheers guys.
Wow thanks for the praise! And congrats, the Challenger is an outstanding bike. If my Wing got wrecked I'd seriously consider getting a Challenger to replace it.
Excellent video Gents. Watching you gents ride was like being their with you and the honesty as you guys were enjoying the thrill of the ride, spoke volumes. excellent video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I just picked up a base model Challenger and when people ask me about it I say if Harley and Goldwing had a lovechild this would be it. Made me laugh when you said Harley Goldwing.
Congrats on the new bike! But yeah, while riding it the first thing that came to my mind was "it's a Harley Goldwing". And that's a very good thing IMHO.
Appreciate your take on it. I had a test ride scheduled for last October and it snowed. You rekindled my interest. Thanks MM for a great review.
Go test ride one, it's truly an awesome bike and Indian did a bangup job designing it.
@@MotoMengy I will. Can I do a video? 😂😂
Love those Indian motorcycles!
They just keep getting better and better!👍
I'm looking forward to riding the new Indian Pursuit as soon as I can manage it. If I were going to trade my Wing in for something else the Pursuit would be my top choice right now.
A good honest unbiased review from regular guy’s like us. Thanks I agree with you that was my assessment also.
Thanks, I haven't heard too many people who rode the Challenger and didn't like it a lot!
Ha! Love the start. And another classic Moto Mengy motovlog.
It is funny in retrospect, but MAN was I embarrassed at the time! 34 years of riding down the drain!
Enjoyed your test ride on this awesome MC! I took one for a test ride last month..Freakin AWESOME!!
Right on, the Challenger is an incredible motorcycle. Indian is doing good work.
Pretty cool! 👏👏👏
It's the only video that show the exhaust sound in movement. I liked it.
It's good too you're Gold Wing owner to comparison.
Thanks, I've gotten a lot of compliments on the sound of the Challenger in my vid. I got lucky I guess!
Great video Mengy. You made that Challenger look like a fun ride.
It was an incredibly fun ride, I think I smiled the entire time! The exhaust note was pure joy.
That flat black challenger is so nice looking.
Yeah, with it all blacked out the flat black really does look great.
If it came in suede nuclear sunset against the black engine with black bags forks and faring with just a plain “INDIAN” in black letters on the side of the tank.
@@semperfipar1299 Hell yeah! Even a Forrest Green would be pretty badass.
Had my Challenger for 2 weeks...1500 miles...FUNNEST bike ever.
I still have my Victory too
I must admit, the Challenger was a very fun bike to ride. If I didn't already own a Goldwing I'd have a Challenger right now.
Thank you for the review. Well done.
Thanks, and you're welcome!
Bro, I can’t believe I didn’t know you stalled it first time you hopped on it till I watched this vid!! 😂 Great job and I’m STILL thinkn back to how much I liked that Indian!! Def wishing I had more excuses for NOT buying one besides no payments is nice! Great vid
Just pull the trigger B-Rad...you know you would enjoy it. I love the flat color. However the dark gray is my fav. Moto Mengy, you made it look like fun. Good video boys.
Yeah, I didn't think you noticed that. The DCT has converted me more than I realized! 😎
That was great! Challenger sure is a beast!
Yeah, I've been thinking about the Challenger ever since. It truly impressed me more than I expected.
@@MotoMengy I'll be very interested to find out if you choose it over the Wing......
I love the enthusiasm, I got to ride one of these.
It's a damn fun bike, much more fun to ride than I expected. Can't wait until my brother buys his so I can ride it now and then! 😁
Great review comparing the Goldwing to the Challenger. I liked your input on the feel of the two bikes. I almost pulled the trigger on a Goldwing but it was a little wide when I sat on it and I was not in the market for a touring bike at the time.
Thanks! To me the Wing feels small and narrow, coming from Road Glides!
I did exactly the same thing about a week ago with my old Softail. Started it up and jammed it into first without pulling the clutch. My DCT Wing has me spoiled.
It's crazy when that happens, ain't it? 😁
Awesome review. I really enjoyed the seat of the pants real world straight from the hip point of view. So refreshing in this age of rehashed nonsense sameness if you will. Great job.
Thanks, I prefer reviews from the riders point of view rather than a salesman!
Thanks for doing this, I really enjoyed your video. Like you said there are ALOT of reviews on line but YOURS is the first one with the Dark Horse...I've ordered the Dark Horse by the way...love the look can't wait for the feel. Thanks again. -Jonathan Knight -
Congrats on your new Challenger! 😁
"The Challenger is a better Road Glide", well said! Enjoyed the shots of your buddy riding the Challenger, you can actually see how bad ass it looks on the road, usually only get shots of the Challenger cockpit in these reviews, nicely done!
The Challenger is awesome. If I didn't own a Goldwing I'd own a Challenger right now. 😉
@@MotoMengy Can't go wrong with a Goldwing, that's for sure.
After riding both the Harley RoadGlide and the Challenger. Then looking at the specs / horsepower I felt the Challenger is much closer to the GoldWing in performance and handling than a Harley. Finally someone put it together.
I agree, to me the Challenger feels like a Harley Goldwing in many ways.
Awesome, awesome rewiew 😂👍🏼🤘
Thanks, it was such a fun bike to ride! 😁
I like em too ! But to be accurate, its a better Victory Cross Country . Too funny something vibrated off the Harley ! The clutch grasshopper, pull in the clutch ! Good vid!
Thanks, and yep the spirit of Victory lives on in the new Indians. And that isn't a bad thing IMHO.
I traded a Harley in for one and I love it! The girlfriend digs it too. Glad you had fun on one!
Congrats on the new bike! The Challenger was a much better ride than I expected, both my brother and I were very pleasantly surprised.
It’s tempting Double M. But man that new generation Gold Wing is such an incredibly well engineered and proven machine. Ride safe and ride often. Peace.
Once the Indian salesman saw I rode a new Wing he admitted that they never "convert" Wing riders over to Indians. The Force is strong with the Goldwing! 😁 Still the Challenger was freaking incredible to ride.
Great ride. Just notice I never saw this one. The challenger is a beast. My only issue with it was that I felt like it had me leaning bit forward and not as comfy as I would like especially in the city areas where you need to maneuver in and out of traffic. But that’s just a personal thing
The seating position felt great to me, very much like the Harley Road Glide, but yeah they both lean more forward than I'm used to now o my Goldwing too. The Challenger sure rode fantastic though.
Two of the best bikes together. GW & Challenger. Cant go wrong with either.
Have to agree, these are two of the best touring bikes on the market today.
Great review
Thanks, it was fun!
Another great video and that is wonderful bike
I see that the price closes in on $34,000 for that particular configuration
I just noticed that on their webpage
that's a lot of money but it is better Harley-Davidson
that's not even for the roadmaster price but the challenger with the option packages
what was the sticker price on the one you road, if I might ask
Yeah, the Challengers are selling like crazy so the price is higher than normal I think.
Loved this one ! Lol
Thanks, it was a very fun day!
Really didn't like the look of the fairing when I first saw the Challenger, but it's growing on me.
I still prefer the Road Glide fairing, but the Challengers isn't bad from the seat once you are on it.
I think most importantly, Goldwing also has a proven record of class-leading reliability. I'm intrigued by Indian and especially the Challenger with its liquid cooled mill, but until they can adequately address the 800 lb gorilla in the room with a standard axle-to-axle 5-year warranty, I don't think they'll be conquesting many Goldwingers anytime soon.
The Indian saleman there that day freely admitted to us that they do NOT convert Goldwing riders over to Indains. Lots of Harley riders and other brands too, but not riders on Wings! I loved and appreciated his honesty about it.
Great review. I am waiting to see if a touring Challenger model is released. I am down to a Challenger and a Goldwing (manual) for my next bike I did not like the DCT - Goldwing at all, I just enjoy shifting gears. My foot position was more comfortable on the Challenger. Also, the trunk on the Goldwing looked like Honda took it off a Vespa. What was Honda thinking? So, I am leaning towards the Challenger, but still have a Goldwing in the running.
I'm certain Indian will be making a Challenger Tour soon. It would sell like hotcakes! And yeah, the Wing's tourpak is a tad undersized for my liking too.
They offer the trunk as an option. Quick release just like the Roadmaster. Same trunk, different bike.
Nice review!
Glad you enjoyed it 😎
I need to hit up that dealership sometime. Need to do a tour of Boyer (and the rest of the area)
It's a very nice dealership, probably my favorite Indian dealer in PA.
I love the Challenger, are the pipes on the Challenger you rode stock?
The salesman told us they were stock pipes for the Darkhorse but some viewers have said they are not stock but are an Indian accessory, so I'm not sure which is correct. I do know one thing: those pipes sounded amazing!
What exhaust was on the challenger, surely that wasn't the stock exhaust? I'm pretty sure I saw the Indian logo so it's probably their stage 1 exhaust slipons.
The salesman said it was stock for the Darkhorse but a lot of viewers have told me it wasn't. The pipes definitely said Indian on them so if they weren't stock they were likely Stage 1 pipes.
Need your help*****
IF you didn't have your goldwing and had the money to buy the goldwing over again OR the challenger for
1. Touring & 2. Around town use on a daily basis, what bike would you pick and why?
I'm asking ,because this is my dilemma.
I was set on the goldwing (even though I haven't been able to get a test ride on one) but yesterday I was able to take a long long demo ride on the challenger and I was amazed it's like the power of my m109r but refined and not brutefull, comfortable like my VTX 1800 and more agile with storage and better audio + navigation than my Kawasaki Voyager 1800. But I like the bigger space and features ( heated seats ,grips) that are included with the goldwing that I can get at a cheaper price new as well. Many thanks
I've pondered this a lot actually. Like if I still had my Road Glide and I could choose between the Challenger or the Goldwing, which would I get? It's a VERY close race, but I would still choose the Goldwing for myself. The DCT is the deciding factor for me as I really do love riding with it. However, if someone wanted a modern Harley-style bike, a V-twin resembling that HD feel but with modern tech and performance, then I'd strongly recommend the Challenger.
@@MotoMengydct is what's swaying me more currently...thanks for your input.
Gold Wing baby, for many, many miles.
Curious to know which ride mode you had the Challenger in? Which ride mode do you keep your GoldWing in? I KNOW the Wing is fast, 97HP to the rear wheel. The Challenger, however is at 106+hp to the rear wheel.
I had the Challenger in Sport mode to see what it was capable of. Honestly if I owned one I'd likely just leave it in Sport mode full time, it rode great and was very controllable. I keep my Wing in Tour mode most of the time, but I do use Sport a lot on twisty roads.
@@MotoMengy A little update for you. I ended up keeping my 2018 Wing Tour and purchasing a 2022 Indian Challenger Limited. The more I ride this Challenger, the more I like it. I have had it for 2.5 months and I have around 7,500 miles on it so far. What a great machine. I even thought about selling my Wing, but then I got on it a few days ago and I just can't let it go...it's also too nice of a machine to sell. I know I would regret selling the Wing.
Side to side should’ve changed the preset stations or songs on Bluetooth. I think the bars are higher than mine seems nice. The stage 1 exhaust sounds good on there.
Yeah the bars were a mod, stock they sit down more like a Road Glide's do.
Moto Mengy right. I have the kst 14” apes for the challenger. But ya I like my arms up more than stock for sure.
What bars and exhaust were on the Challenger ?
The exhaust was stock according the to salesguy, the bars were an Indian accessory addon, not sure what the name for them was.
That thing it a beast
It certainly was.
What motor work and pipes on that Challenger ?
It was all stock for the Darkhorse according to the dealer.
Good Review!
Thanks!
The only stock Harley that can keep up with that, is the VROD. Harley answered the Challenger's call out, with the 131 cu inch "upgrade". Of course that's an additional ~ $6000.
I always wanted the VROD motor in a true touring frame. I asked the dealers for a decade about it, but it never came. 😥
@@MotoMengy there's an active community that has been modifying VROD's into baggers. They basically take a road glide rear fender and cut it, weld in a wider section to accommodate the wide rear tire. So you have the proper motor, but it's still shorter than most baggers.
@@shotgunscott Yep I saw a VROD Glide in person once, it just made me wonder all that much harder WHY Harley never made it themselves!
any issues with mic poping?
No, not that I could tell so far.
Great video, congratulations. I am watching some reviews about the Challenger. I want get this style of bike, but in this moment i can't decide. My options are the Street Glide Special, Road Glide Special and the Indian Challenger. Can you help me to decide? Congratulations again and thank you.
I would strongly suggest you test ride all of them before buying, because one might become the clear winner after you feel how it rides. All three are great bikes. The Street Glide and Road Glide specials will be the same except for the fairing, some people prefer the batwing while I vastly prefer the sharknose, but its a very subjective call between which one somebody will like more. The Challenger is a modern Road Glide, fixed fairing with better tech, better motor, more power, and an electric windshield, but you give up the huge Harley aftermarket for customizing. Just test ride all three and you'll likely choose one pretty easily after that, have fun! 😎
Thank you so much for you answer
Do you have any thoughts on the new R18 BMW motorcycle
I haven't seen one in person yet, but I think it looks pretty awesome.
Was that a modified bike? I mean bars and pipes? Stock or had been changed?
The bars were an Indian accessory but everything else was stock Dark Horse according to the salesman.
For the very beginning why it is that you need to compare this motorcycle straight with that motorcycle what's your point..?
I always compare things I'm interested in buying to see which I prefer, that's how I can tell what I like and don't like. 😎
Sorry if someone already asked this, are those bars stock or aftermarket? They just seem so high. Great video!
The salesman said they were stock for the darkhorse, but the other two Challenger models do have lower bars.
@@MotoMengy thanks man!
They look like the Indian mid rise bars. An Indian product but not stock
My friends got a new Challenger it's a slick bike but when i get over 80-90 MPH my sport tourer Triumph Trophy SE just pulls away and once you hit the curves my bike is just gone. The Challenger is a great bike if you want a bagger type bike for sure, hopefully it wakes up Harley to build a better bike !!!!
Yeah the Challenger isn't the fastest bike out there, but it's much more powerful than Harleys, like startlingly so.
I bought the Challenger and it’s the shit!
Right on, my brother still thinks he'll be buying one soon. It was an incredible bike to ride.
When they put reverse on the challenger, wing owners might switch, and I would be wanting it!
That would be sweet if they did!
Is it as smooth as a BMW or Goldwing?
Maybe not quite as smooth, but very close. The Challenger rode very comfortably, even better than a Harley with a premium aftermarket suspension kit.
Gold Wing/Lexus vs Indian Challenger/Mustang GT. What do you think MM, if you could, would you be trading any time soon? 🤔
No answer Mengy? Surprised at you.
Nope, not trading my Wing in, I love this bike. That said, if my Wing got totalled or stolen and I HAD to buy a new bike, the Challenger would probably be the one in all honesty.
😂😂stall , nice vlog 👍🙂
I was so embarrassed! 15K miles on a DCT bike will break a few old habits I guess! 😬
Does everyone in the states ride without gloves?
Heck, half of the riders in the US don't even wear helmets! 😮
No. Good gloves and boots, and always wear a helmet...fasteddie...
The power specs for HP and TQ are nearly identical to the GW which is funny you mentioned that.
Yeah both the Goldwing and Challenger feel really close power wise when riding them, it surprised me a lot!
Dude waves like he’s in a parade 😂
Damn straight I do, never thought of it like that! 😁
At least he's waving with all his fingers. Lol
what height are those bars
I don't know the actual height, the salesman said they were the Indian Low Rise bars.
Nice review
U and your brother should buy a bluetooth for your helmet much better then keeping screening when you riders
See u guy's on the next review
We've discussed it lately. For our whole lives we've done without on board comms. We're also a tad afraid with comms we'd talk TOO much! 😁
I wish that I waited for the Challenger, but I love my
'19 Chieftain Darkhorse
The Chieftain is very nice so I wouldn't fret too much about it! 😎
@@MotoMengy Thanks yeah I'm not fretting over it I LOVE my bike but if it (Challenger) was out when got mine, well, that would have been a hard choice to make. 🤔 🤘
I traded im my 19 Chieftain dark horse this Challenger is something else
Love the bike, but I'm not crazy about flat colors. They look like they're still waiting for paint and then clear coat. And it would look cooler/refined if they had a smaller Indian badge, instead of the mural on the side of the tank. That said, I'm petty certain that's the American V-Twin that I'm going to buy. Just have to get it repainted.
I'm not crazy about the flat black either, but the other colors they have are rather nice. I particularly love the red on the Challenger.
The flat black is their dark horse line up that comes in a flat black ,ghost white and a sandstone color (2020 colors) with blacked out items such as exhaust and controls,
The basic model comes in a gray and black both gloss, then the limited comes in a gloss Ruby red, gloss metallic pearl black and metalic blue color with chrome accents, all great looking,
Nice looking bike 👍
Yep, I don't think I'd personally get the Darkhorse though, I like it better in red & chrome. Although the white one is really sharp too.
It’s the one thing that I couldn’t get past were the looks. I will admit that it looks a bit better in person but not much better. In the end I went for a CVO Limited instead.
The gearing in the challenger is a lot shorter than the gearing in the newer harleys which I wasn’t a fan of.
You might be right, I didn't take much notice of the gearing but it felt good to me while riding it.
Loved ur video. But im certain ur mistaken about its not as fast as your goldwing. Im pretty certain it will smoke the goldwing. Good job guys
I'm not sure which is faster, but it would certainly be a close race!
No, I'm pretty sure the wing in sport mode will beat it...
my limited is coming in this week...
Congrats Mark! Did you test ride one yet or will yours be the first Challenger you ride?
I've owned a GL1500 and GL1800. My next touring bike will be the Challenger.
Good choice. If I was still on a Harley I'd already own the Challenger. 😁
I need a Challenger.
Don't we all! 😁
Maybe ride a Triumph Rocket 3 to put the power into perspective. 🚀😉🇦🇺
I'd like to ride the Rocket 3, I've heard very good things about it!
@@MotoMengy go test ride one then 👍🇦🇺
It's like a gas powered electric bike! POWERTRIP!
Honda has took the motor out of the Africa twin and put it in the rebel frame.
It is HONDA’S Brand new rebel 1100
Sport cruiser
I'm planning on test riding a new Rebel 1100 purely out of curiosity. I think it's going to be a very fine bike.
Min 12:00 "it has power...not sure if Goldwing power..." It has more....
It might be more powerful, the Challenger was very impressive. The DCT on my Wing likely makes it a tad faster though.
Moto Mengy I used to own a 2018 GL1800 non DCT. My brother used to own a DCT and he also mentioned that DCT makes the Goldwing vs Goldwing faster. When it comes to the challenger.... We are comparing apples to oranges BUT.... But but but... "Perception is reality" and my face lights up every time I open the throttle on the challenger.... It was not the case of my GL. SO even if the GL is actually faster.... My brain would not care because my heart is happy and that's why I traded my GL for my Challenger and never looked back
I really think Indian is competing with Honda not Harley with this bike. Indian has a bunch of legacy air cooled bikes to compete with the Harley market.
I'm not so sure, the Challenger rides like a much more refined and modernized Road Glide. It certainly has that Harley feel to it. I wouldn't see many Goldwing riders converting to it, but I actually know quite a few HD riders who are making the trade.
I see your point. My theory based on Indian’s first attempt and they already had this power plant derived from a Victory engine. When you think about it Indians retro modern pushrod engine is already better than anything Harley is making. I could see Indian reviving the four cylinder engine in the future for a silky smooth ride like the Goldwing. I’m just guessing at this point but let’s hope an American manufacturer can pull it off.
WHY no ATGATT? Why Open face helmets? WHY? Don't you realize?
I never go full ATGATT, and I do not like full face helmets. I've gotten better though, for most of my life I wore half helmets and no gloves at all!
I enjoyed your review also. However, I dont believe you rode a stock Challenger, and you should tell people what you're testing.
The salesman said it was stock except for the handlebars, why do you think it wasn't?
@@MotoMengy The bars, the grips, the air intake, the exhaust are not stock. There may be even more that I can't see from your clip. LIke an aggressive fuel mapping, cat delete, etc.
@@tyroneshoelace4872 Well, according to the salesman only the bars were added. If they did a bunch of other mods then they weren't charging for them, which I thihnk would be odd?
@@MotoMengy don't know about the financial side, but you can see the stage 1 air cleaner kit on the bike in your video. You don't do an air kit without pipes also. Not your fault at all, just an observation for transparency. Thanks.
Indian and polaris really took it to the global market GOLD WING...BMW... oh yeah..HARLEY.. I see that 👀.. the next BIG ??? Price $$$ OH...and i’d love to see how the bike holds together .. and functions over time.. too soon to just sign away to 30plus grand and find out the thing goes to peices.. HONDA is real world proven... and polaris left bad taste in my mouth with victory.. no support
While Indian is new and somewhat untested long term, so far the bikes seem to hold up rather well. Everyone I know who owns an Indian is very happy with them.
I'm torn between the goldwing and challenger.
They are comparable bikes honestly. The Goldwing has the DCT option and is both quieter and smoother, but the Challenger feels like a modernized Harley Davidson with that great V-twin feeling but Goldwing power. I'd say test ride them both and see which one sings to you the most! 😁
Manual GW..ITS A CADILLAC BABY.
One thing i don't like about the GoldWing is they reserve the premium features for the Tour model ... if you want a top spec GW bagger you need to get the tour and then spend a few hundred more to remove the trunk and convert it into a bagger. This is typical for the Japanese - they overthink everything to the point of ruining it. Instead of just letting people choose what they want as for example BMW would they take it upon themselves to do the thinking for you and decide that, for example, if you don't want the trunk then you also don't need traction control. Extremely frustrating. Honda has the best engineering, the best reliability and the best prices BUT with Honda you never seem to be able to get the features you want on the bike you want. So whereas on BMW for example you can get cruise control and heated grips on a superbike ... but with Honda they just decide for you that you don't need those things and that's that. I fucking hate that and i honestly feel like punishing Honda for this shit by getting something else. it is none of their fucking business why i want cruise control on a superbike - they need to learn to mind their own business.
I agree with that 100%. I think the standard Wing should be exactly like the tour model but without the tourpack. No idea why they don't do it that way.
Not a lot of BAD motorcycles anymore but this is nothing close to the bikes Harley makes it has a cheap plastic look to it .. plagued with software issues but not any cheaper... Polaris has always been known for engendering flaws the base model comes in 1 color .. no 2 tone options handle bars are dogs butt ugly
Sure not everyone will like the Challenger, but I now have two friends who own them (coming from Harleys) and they both LOVE the bike. It's good we have a wide variety of bikes to choose from. 😎
lol 34 years down the drain.. well we all have done that .
I guess I'm not an idiot then! 😁
