Well one takes weeks and one takes 2 minutes.. Time is money. Most youtubers try to stick with a schedule, 2 or 3 times a week to keep viewers entertained and coming back. That seems to be the most successful way to keep and grow and audience, unless you go big and do something crazy once a month like Mark Rober, but even then he isn't getting as many monthly views as some of the UA-camrs posting once or multiple times a week, thats why he sells his classes to help offset the money lost.

This reminds me of the first motorcycle trip I ever took going from Tacoma, Washington (really Lakewood, Washington) to Bossier City, Louisiana. I was riding a Honda 55/4 chopped out. I remember it being so cold up in those mountains. It was as cold as a well digger's a55. I'll never forget it. I remember I was trying to get some sleep. I was forced to sleep on a wooden slab next to the motorcycle engine in order to keep me warm for what little time I was sleeping. I remember praying a prayer to the effect of "Lord if you let me get out of this alive I will NEVER do anything like this ever again!" So far, I've been able to keep that promise. Oh I was so cold!!! This is where much of my love of motor sports started. My neighborhood friends and I all made mini bikes, we put probably thousands of miles on them over the years. I can confirm that everything you portrayed in the video are 100% accurate. The tires wore off instantly, chains always loose and the breaks were always dragging the feet. I will say the engines were almost always reliable, out of the thousands of miles out on the dozens of bikes we only had one catastrophic engine failure. Being broke high school kids they were always under maintained, duct taped together and straight up death traps. I wouldn’t trade those memories for the world.

It’s a predator they are indestructible just like the flat head Briggs
Can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed watching this guys. Thanks so much for making it happen!
Great filming and narrative, explaining the mechanical issues along the way. You need backup and filming crew as well.
I agree, meant a lot to me and has been the best UA-cam video I've seen all year. wish I could donate some!
I got such a kick on this video.
You created something unforgettable. Your videos give goosebumps, showcasing the true soul of motorcycle riding and brotherhood. Hats off to you guys; it's truly amazing.

Epic!
This strikes a major chord with every 90s kid
Yeah, absolutely
Yes! My father even liked the movie just because of how outrageous it was.
Hell! I’m an ‘80s guy and I loved it. This brought so much joy and fun. There were shots where I couldn’t tell if it’s the movie or not. Brilliant work
You guys really killed it. Thanks for such an awesome video!!!!!!
I just sat here watching this with a stupid grin on my face the whole time.
Bahahaha didn't realise I was too until I read your comment
Me too.
Could you imagine being on your family vacation and spot these two on this little bike....I'd die laughing.
So, you're telling me there's a chance?
I really needed this right now. I lost my best friend of 45 years last month.
I was rolling on the floor. The wheelie pop on take off was hilarious. What a fun experience as a lifetime accomplishment!
Hope you're doing OK mate, don't be afraid to seek a professional if it starts to feel too much!
Condolences.I just lost my last grandparent a few weeks ago.only silver lining is she was 91 and ready to go.
For sure!! I laughed so much I think I hurt something. 😁
This is one of the best “motorcycle” adventures I’ve seen on UA-cam.
The intro guys. I watched and rewatched it to compare. It's so close. Even when he comes to a stop on the bike and puts his feet out sideways. Incredible.
I love the little backfire when he almost dumps it. 🤣. I think that's one of the funniest parts of the movie.
its hilariously close. good attention to detail until the end scene, they should have filmed it in the right spot. they werent even in the right town
Jim Carrey needs to see this, I swear 🤣🤣🤣 this is hilarious!
Don't forget Jeff Daniels!
@@Frejborg I'll show it to Jeff next time I see him! He owns a local stage theater in my small Michigan town!
@@DW94576 Awesome!
He ever see it? Also if he did, what did he think lol?@@DW94576
There is no way this video will ever get the recognition it deserves.
Dont be so sure, this movie is a Classic, a favorite for most, plus the original bike sold for $50,000 on Ebay, this video is gonna BLOW UP💥💥💥.
superb! I loved the double gloves / no gloves perfection, camera angles, locations. It was heart warming and little bit nostalgic. Pretty damn good job reviving this guys!
Videos like this are what the internet was invented for. Some people only think things are cool or dorky, Zack & Ari prove that things are cool or dorky.
Word on the street is that Ari and Zack are still riding two-up from screen right to screen left, desperately trying to make it out of Aspen...
Like that Eagles song "Hotel Colorado"...
The fact that they actually did it, is crazy! These guys are legends! 😂
I was waiting for a "We're therrrrre" - but it never came. Ah, oh well.
Me too!
Right ?
I was just a tad bit anticlimactic.
But, when in Rome 👍
Massively missed opportunity there. I'm not mad, I'm not. I'm just disappointed. Haha
I was waiting the lines “Just Go” and “That’s really warm”. Come on guys. You need to commit.
YES!!! They had the shot lined up, they looked AND felt like Lloyd and Harry. Come OOOOOON!! They missed several golden quote moments. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed this
Watching this again two years later and it’s still gold!
By default pretty sure they completed the “iron butt challenge” 🤣
My friend Terry Hershner did Iron Butt on an electric motorcycle to Mexico and back 😀
Next up: American Prison Challenge 💩
With that plank? Dear gods. More like the iron prostate or baboon ass challenge, poor crazy bastards lol.
Iron butt that's funny made me laugh alot
Flat iron butt..for sure... 🤣
This is the most ridiculous episode you guys have done. I can’t stop smiling.
This was the best video I've seen in such a long time 😂. Great job guys
This is probably the most epic road trip of all time
I did Florida to Washington state on my 150 motorcycle and that was more epic then this 400 mile road trip
One day someone will go to the moon 🌙
That will be an epic road trip
@@davedoesthingsdreaded Dave’s the guy that likes to immediately one up others’ accomplishments with his own (of course) greater accomplishments.
I was directed to this video from a news article. . and I could not be more happy to have found you guys! This was amazing! The storytelling was spot on! I can't wait to see more of what you create!
Ari and Zack, literally the A to Z of epic rides and adventures!
Absolutely loved it.
Back for a second watch more than a year later. What can I say? Phenomenal.
Wow. Incredible attention to detail in the cold open. That’s a worthy re-enactment.
My husband started cry laughing when you got the semi to pull the air horn 😂 Absolutely well done, gentlemen 👏🏼
Was hoping a hotel room with the heart-shaped hot tub was in order.
I was also hoping for a purple Diablo
I dont want to exist in a world where you guys dont share these kinds of antics with us. Been following since your last channel and I’ll be a subscriber for life.
This is nothing short of legendary! Kudos to everyone, but especially to Ari and Zack, wow!
I have to have a serious look at my life goals after watching this.
Legends!
This must be a yearly rally! Like Gumball... but Dumbball.
Gum and Gumber
To quote another comment I've seen:
"You're in luck, it already is! There is a shop in Denver that does a trip over independence pass the 3rd(ish) weekend of July every year. Only rule is less than 212cc bike. I think they are on year 5 now. Search FilthyFridayDenver on Insta. This year it is July 31st."
@@MegaSockenschuss Cool! Thanks
What day?

Your loyalty to the source material made this video all the better, great job gents.
“Aspen, California. Where the beer flows like wine.” 😂😂😂
And the women flock like the salmon of Capistrano!
@@MRgrimlock84 That John Denver's full of shit man!
