Ross was in "burn the house down" mode during the letter arc. Every insult towards Rachel was pure fire.
And well deserved too.

I love how he just twists the knife and the expression on Rachael's face when he does so.

Besides his burn on Rachel, I loved the look on Ross' face when he sees Monica excited. He was happy for his sister.

Rachel should have thought twice when Ross suggested she should call Chip, especially when they are not on good terms. She fell for his trap thinking she’d had a chance to hurt him and it backfired 😆

Hmmm what about the time Ross lied about finishing the letter when he didn’t, his jealousy over most of her relationships, and oh that’s right, cheating on Rachel with the copyplace girl. Even though they were on a break, it’s still wrong.
In his defence it was 530 in the morning which Rachel not only show any remorse but still continue to make him read it at that time. It's pretty clear she said he can come back up to her room once he's done meaning she still expect him to read it at that time

I loved seeing most of the characters happy, but I definitely loved seeing Monica happy.

@@michaelweston2285 he's been acting on stage and directing. He was always a stage guy; he founded The Lookingglass Company way before he landed a role in Friends. Tbh, his alma mater produces A LOT of stage folks and comedians, not so much TV and movies anyway.
this reminds me of the whole ‘who came onto who’ debate where ross wanted to spare rachel the embarrassment, but when she wanted to really hurt him he was like okay you can embarrass yourself. you can always take the high road but rachel deserved to be taken down a peg like that and ross’ pettiness is hilarious.

I don't think he was being sarcastic, he was genuinely excited for Monica but in a playful way, like the fake excitement of a high school girl, but still genuinely excited, especially since they were both outcasts in HS.

Well, rachel is quite annoying so i can't blame him, and he tried to warn her but she kept pushing, it's like the scene with the video tape that he wanted to destroy the tape to avoid making her embarrassed and yet again she pushed him.
It was like at first when he said: Well actually….You can imagine Ross was thinking let me be civil and tell her the truth, then when Rachel starts acting a little too cocky then Ross just decides ok forget being nice, let’s just destroy her whole career😂😂😂😈😈😈
So when ross is petty it's funny but when rachel is petty it's annoying? Ya'll can't enjoy both of their humors?

She finally got a break with a job she always wanted, he was very insecure and jealous and behaved ridiculously over it, which pushed her to put the relationship on hold, he responded by shagging someone else *within hours* and then justifying it for years! She was well shot of him, their relationship was toxic!

Love this scene. Rachel couldn’t keep her mouth shut and she ate it big time 😂
It's really all Rachel's fault. She acted all high and mighty in front of Ross when Ross was about to tell her that the call was for Monica. Then he feels like she's bragging and being a jerk so he tells her that it indeed was for her. If she hadn't acted that way she would have been informed that it was for Monica from the start.
I love when Rachel got humiliated. She deserved it for acting the way she did.

@@SallyBMcgill She was without a doubt, the worst "friend" Phoebe took a downward arc in the later seasons as well. The other four had their issues, but were overall very likeable.
