@@morty3330 Earlier in the episode Chandler was making fun of one of Monica's old boyfriend's Steve, who put to much emphasis on the S and caused him to spit when he talked. Anyway, when Allen comes in he makes the same joke, showing them all that he has a good sense of humor, and making them laugh because they are in on the joke.

Monica is like the mother of the group...she cook for all of them, she make her life decisions according to which all friends would like...

It was so weird, after growing up with the series and watching the show develop in real time, to then go back and watch the earlier seasons. I loved the series all the way through, but only the early seasons make me really feel something, and that's all about the characters.

I actually think the complete opposite. this was a show with actual conversations. it turned into them constantly yelling and screaming and becoming caricatures of the original characters, with ridiculous impossible storylines. you could believe you had a friend like fun Bobby who became an alcoholic, or you could believe a lot of the things from seasons one through three. new writers, overacting, it turned into a circus sideshow act and it wasn't good anymore, but everyone can have their thing. it's nice that there are enough versions of this show for everyone to enjoy something
