Robin, the twin on the left has a phenomenal falsetto also. And Barry also has a deeper voice he uses in various songs. Maurice (pronounced Morris) is the perfect complement to his brothers falsettos. Also, every penny made from this song goes to UNICEF. To this day. That was The Bee Gees donation to them. And if you’re wondering, the name The Bee Gees stands for The Brothers Gibb

I grew up listening to the Bee Gees, & you have no idea how happy it makes me, to see the younger generation discover the music we fell in love with !!! All three brothers had amazing falsetto's, however, Barry Gibb, in my opinion, has the most unique falsetto, because in his falsetto, he also used his vibrato, which is rare! They were brothers, & Barry is the last one, but please review more of their music, you will not be disappointed. They span over many decades, & crossed quite a few genres. These three Musical Geniuses (who never had any formal training in musical instruments or vocals, and never learned to read musical notes, or knew about the musical scale...) brought us close to 50 years of Pure Magic!
    💖💖💖
Upon its release, the brothers donated this track to UNICEF, to help children in need, around the world. At the time, it brought in $7+ million.
Years later, they also donated their song "BLUE ISLAND", to assist children in (at the time...) wartorn Bosnia.
These three had the tightest harmonies in the music industry - and the extraordinary ability to adapt to each musical decade that they entered into, together.
Their catalogue is vast, so You've entered into a DEEP rabbit hole, my Friend!💕

Barry calls Andy as younger twin. If Andy didn't die in 1988, he would have joined into his brothers' group as Fourth Bee Gee. Andy did joined them at some of their concert stops. I think that was the plan to make trio into a quartet. Sadly, Andy was battling his demons of addiction.

Their impact on music was and is massive.
Barry changed his way of singing when he found out the higher ranges were easier for him. That opened up a huge gap in the market.

Such an AMAZING family of voices. Their 60's stuff is among my favorites of theirs--a completely different sound. I loved the way they evolved with the times. So sad that Barry is alone, last man standing. There was an AWESOME documentary on HBO MAX about the BeeGees. IT was riveting.

Actually they are from the Isle of Man. They moved to 'Australia when they were young fellows. Relatively speaking they spent very little of their lives in Oz. Of course the Aussies love to claim them because they are very insecure people.

Barry "The Goat" Alan Crompton Gibb has the most profilic falsetto voice of all time and he is one of the most successful songwriters in history of music. Night Fever, You Should Be Dancing, More Than a Woman and indeed one of the best love songs of all time How Deep is your Love you must have to check - welcome in the biggest rabbit hole of the music industry - the legendary Brothers Gibb 💪great sensitive reaction👍

As good as Barry's falsetto is, I think both Phillip Bailey (Earth Wind & Fire) and Eddie Kendricks (Temptations) were better.

@@MischaGER interesting list by these "experts"...but what kind of person can really be an "expert" on falsetto if Phillip Bailey isn't in their top 10..or Eddie Kendrick (whom some to consider was even better than Phillip)...or Bobby DeBarge, who might be even better than both Phillip or Eddie...a pop list?! Yeah, a list that probably didn't even really consider the aforementioned trio..but hey, if Barry's your GOAT, more power to you.

Guy in the middle is Barry Gibb. Together, BeeGees were kings of disco in late 70s. Examples are Stayin' Alive, Night Fever., and More Than a Woman. Barry Gibb even recorded with the great Barbara Streisand, writing the song Guilty for their duet.
I was not a big fan of disco and overlooked BeeGees back in the day. But listening to them now, I hear rhythm and blues in their sound along with disco, particularly on this song. They remind me of a group I liked from early 70s called Stylistics. They had a guy who did the high falsetto which can be heard on a song like Betcha By Golly Wow

Barry Gibb formed a group called the Bee Gees with his brothers Maurice and Robin. The trio had their first hit in 1967. They became even more famous in the 1970s with their stirring ballads and catchy dance songs. Gibb also worked with other artists, including Kenny Rogers and Barbra Streisand.
