*note: Foundation chain: Chain 35 for an adult small (the size made in the video tutorial!) I accidentally read the instructions for a different size, sorry! i’m confused 🥲 the first row with half double, you pulled up a loop and pulled through three normally. then on row five, on the back loop half double, you pulled up a loop, pulled through one, and then pulled through three. is this how you’re supposed to on back loops?
Ok, I’m no math genius, but how do you end up with 34 stitches at the end of row one when you started with a chain of 23 stitches? I didn’t see any increases. What am I missing?
Only problem is We Crochet yarn that you are recommending is actually closer to a worsted weight. If it were super bulky 6 you definitely wouldn't be using a 7 mm hook 🙄 I love most all your patterns but lets be realistic about some of the Guage/yarn used. For example, LB Hometown yarn is is a Super Bulky 6 and couldn't be used for the stitch requirements/guage.

I just love your videos and patterns!
This is such a lovely hat. Thank you for sharing how to crochet it. I am willing to give it a try.
Super cute hat! And easy to customize to other yarn as well - I used worsted weight yarn with the same method and love how it came out. Thank you!
Very pretty!!! Great instructions! Thank you.

Loveeeee this
Love this 😍
I always struggle keeping my ends straight. When you turn and chain one, do you slip stitch into the same stitch you’re in or the next? 🥺
Hey...I have a question. How did you get 34 stitches from a chain of 23? I have tried several times and it doesn't work.
Hi, can I ask how you wash them?

I am making one of your tops, but I live in a tropical country ....Can you please tell me which type of yarn should I use so that I don't feel hot?
You left this comment a year ago but- anything made of cotton will probably be ideal for you! Breathable :)

Is it a mistake that you say chain 23 in the beginning?
