Tiny House Basics builds quality. I am a NOAH rep and I see hundreds of builds each year. This company builds quality and has a great reputation in the industry. Also its a 'one-stop-shop'. You can get your Trailer, have them build your Shell and you complete, or have them build it for you! No matter at what stage you are buying from them at, rest assured you are getting a superb product. Love the video Josh!
I also just noticed, the center of gravity appears to be rearward of the axles, or uncomfortably close to it - it seems a lot of the weight is probably in the kitchen area (and I'm assuming that's a propane tank and/or water tank in the rear "shed"). If that's the case, this would be extremely unsafe to tow; the axles probably should have been much further back on the chassis.
@JJ-vp3bd for towing you want it as close to the hitch as possible without exceeding payload limits of the tow vehicle. I have no clue how unsafe it really is if you have the weight centered over the trailer axles but it's pretty common towing practice to never have center of gravity behind the axles. It can make it impossible to recover if the trailer starts to sway. Tiny houses I assume would be even more affected since they are not aerodynamic at all.
ok i'm ok with the kitchen in the back... having a counter isle/eating table good idea but that bench couch is blocking a seating area that I could see can fit 3 stool chairs. Not a fan of ladders, but has potential for cabinet steps leading to the loft i'd say, either having it flushed where the picture frame/heater is (mark 5:56) of that side or better yet on other side of the window again steps leading up with opening standing platform position as you get up to your loft by the bed, with fridge being under the steps flush by the wall next to the fuse box.. now you can extend your kitchen counter where fridge was before, Then again preferable having opposite kitchen other side, bathroom underneath the loft... now you have much bigger spacious living area. :) ..but that's just my opinion.
Yeah it's nice with all the windows, but I don't think the layout is the most efficient. Considering there's a big difference between it being empty to have someone living there for a while
I like that the kitchen and bathroom in opposite ends of the house. The kitchen is cute and efficient, EXCEPT there is no cabinets or open shelf for dishes and glasses. Like the French doors, BUT I would eliminate the window behind the bench seating, or have much smaller windows instead. Unable to lean back comfortably or safely against those huge windows. I really liked the exterior color and style. Of course, would much better love stairs instead of a latter. This is the second tiny home builder I’ve seen using the insulated foam panel walls.
I see a lot of unused space. They shouldve dropped the hood over the stove and added more cabinets in the kitchen. You need a little more prep space in the kitchen. The island couldve had a folding leaf. the stairs couldve been closed off to allow for storage in the stairs. I could go on and on. This is super basic prob a 45k build on your own.
Just think of a shed but adding ef windows, doors, insulation, flooring, cabinet, appliances, electrical powerful enough to power what your needed appliances and work, plumbing, interior are not Sheetrock hence moving and vibration during driving will crack it over time.shower, toilet (black tanks or incinerated)
The couch placement should be across from the doors so there could be a built in staircase to the loft and not a ladder and the stairs could have built in storage
I do like and have 2 suggestions to improve dramatically. 1) raise the fridge up with a large drawer under for storage and get more eye level. 2) Install frosted glass in the huge bathroom window ... come on in an RV Park or Tiny village you would see your neighbors privates. Really??? In addition: Maybe give some examples where they can put their clothing, food, vacuums, brooms shoes.
Pretty soon, a tiny home will be my only option. How do I get started?? I have a place to put it. I'm in LA county, and overwhelmed. Any help would be appreciated!
Really beautiful, but the large windows cuts down on wall space, imo. Love the loft as well, but for me they'd have to be real stairs sadly, as the ladder opens up the space. The lighting is well done! Also kudos on the bathroom design. Best I've seen in a Tiny House! Great base design that lends itself well to buyers' customization.
Thank you for your comment and those are all great points, a great reason why we tailor each design to fit the client who will be living in the space, they definitely wanted huge windows and a ladder to cut down on space into the loft
Very nice! One thing I would do differently is remove that built in couch and the windows there and built a storage unit for either pantry goods / or clothing storage. That is what is super important and I don't it see anywhere. Really nice build though!
It's very gorgous! Though the walkthrough part appears to have been slowed down significantly to the point it was jarring to watch, and I ended up just seeking around manually while paused. Also there seems to be a pretty big lack of storage anywhere. I'm surprised they didn't spec more lighting in that bathroom, either. Still looks really nice though!
I love everything about this except the loft. For people who are older or like myself who are disabled with MS, climbing ladders and stairs is dangerous. I would love this with a tiny bedroom added behind the bathroom.... otherwise it is absolutely beautiful!
This tiny house plumbing was designed to be connected to a sewer connection at it's parking spot. They can be designed with tanks as well but we tailored this for what the client wanted
Why can't they just show a price here for the one pictured here? Some on UA-cam do and save people a lot of unneccesary time and trouble, it makes me wonder what's to hide?
Why have space for a couch, when there's already a large seating area. Instead, there should be a spot for a washer/dryer. Otherwise, it's a very lovely home.
This is so spacious. It doesn't look that big from the outside. Move that one window so you can replace the ladder with a staircase, then move the toilet a little closer to the corner, and I'm sold! Oh, and I don't need the stove; I'll use an electric cooktop. Now, what's a good estimate for this model?
What would be really helpfull is knowing where they are legal to live in. Massachusetts allows nothing. Are they only good for a tiny house camp gro7nd? People are looking for affordable housing for low income. Please let us know the ins and outs of the difficulty of permant placement. Its all about tax revenue.
Does it annoy anyone else when ppl will be like, "24 feet by 96 inches" Like why not just say it all in feet sigh. Idk what 96 in is, now I need a calculator
Do not not like ladder could have been configured better to included stairs with storage if they made room for a couch why the bench i know it covers wheel well just not configured good
Doesn’t work for older people. It needs stairs and lest windows and a smaller door I would like a living room with shelves a small sofa and chair with shelves built around the fire place. Put the door where the window over the sofa is. And move sofa down to face fireplace with book shelves and tv built around it.
Actually If you watch it again you will see that the build in storage covers the fenders. Take a peek at the opposite side of the house. The fenders are right in the middle so the storage is a way to cover it and still be usable. If it wasn't there it was just be box covering the fender
The toilet is not exactly centered because the bathroom is on the tongue end of the trailer, Under the trailer framing there is the triangular tongue which will restrict where the waste pipes go that is why the toilet is off center. the only way to not have this would be to have the bathroom on the other end of the house OR raise up the toilet onto a platform to allow the drains to pivot out of the way of the trailer framing, The customer choose the it to be how it is in the video.
So far they replied "starts at 75,000" and the "finished model costs 65,000 on a 24 ft. Trailer" Confusing no? Why can't they just state CLEARLY in the video or header?
Well the problem is this was a custom build for a client, so if we have someone that wanted this exact size we guarantee it would be much different than this model due to personal taste. If we were selling this exact model we would list a price but since this was custom we did not and by stating starting prices it more accurately shows you what to expect. hopefully that helps

I love the simplicity of this build
I love this tiny house! I would definitely live in it all the time. Sweet!
Does anyone else get a little rush of dopamine watching vids like this
This house seems really cool and I’m gonna take screen shots for my house design to be just like this
Why you put a huge window next to an open viewing shower and your toilet. No reason to invade your privacy when your broadcasting

where should the weight be focused at for this build?

Wow realy awesome tiny house I love its
Its so nice! Lots of space and I love the kitchen!
Thank you!!
This has been my favorite by far
Lovely. But for the older generation, stairs would be great.
Not simply older generation would benefit from stairs rather than ladder 😊 plus although stairs do gobble up space they can be used as storage.
So scary going under the bridge haha

When I grow up, I’ll maybe get something like this.
Yeah I also want to 😂
@@PronayKhan-xy2kc exactly 🤣🤣
I would definitely get rid of the ladder, extend a metal staircase out instead.
Great tour thanks! Loved that it didn't take you forever to explain the details of the house.
thank you!
Super Perfect house 👍
Did I miss it? What is the height, to the peak?
This is 13ft 6in in height from the ground to the top of the roof
This is VERY practical.
Be nice hook up for washer and dryer
The couch placement should be across from the doors so there could be a built in staircase to the loft and not a ladder and the stairs could have built in storage
Beautiful. Would I need a permit to have this parked on my driveway?
How does the plumbing and electrical for this backyard tiny home work? Did they have to install plumbing to the tiny home?

Love the windows. Really opens the place up. Looks good. Only questionable thing is stove right next to the wall. Looks like a fire hazard.

Hi i have a question! I want to build a tiny home this year, what is the average I would spend for a shell?
Is there a benefit to using plywood interior walls vs drywall?
gotta love that shower with a huge window lol

a huge lost space, not a clever arrangement. Shower door open on the wall, riddiculous
Outside is beautiful and well done. The inside looks rushed and not very well thought out and cheap.

Zero storage...?
Lol for real
The windows are way to big and interfere with the functionality of the space.
Bathroom design is bad with that window cutting it off. Why is the couch facing the stairs and no placed where it needs to be.
Sorry...well built, but the design is boring, cold and lifeless. Not a fan
Full of windows
Too many windows
