Okay thank you for this. I want to buy a trailer and make a concession stand for a food truck. This helps A LOT. Most people don't even note in the video which nails you'd need to nail the subflooring to the frame.
When u added that extra strapping to ur floor frame u should have exterior caulked it or used the foil tape, or did both because when OSB boards get wet they disintegrate at a fast rate then ur replacing the floor, and also some sealant caulking on ur through bolt heads, lil things make big differences
Excellent job, so good details you shared. I would have kept the short wall to act as a stabilizer for the walls. It may have been an inconvenience but the structural rigidity might be worth it. Thanks for sharing.
I need to do this lol I've built a lot of things i have builders in my family so why not have all of us just build a lil house for vacay we can share it and trade off ❤
How does this tow, I'm guessing because it it wood which is a naturally dampened product the trailer rudes very well without the rattles and clattering of metal trailers
Amazing job on your build. Its very inspiring. One thing giving you constructive criticism wouldn't it have been better to run the tin sheet metal flash long ways
Hi. New to the channel. Came across it looking for ideas on building my son a club house/ boy-cave for Christmas. This is awesome. I see this was two years ago but do you happen to still have the measurement? Did you use a template or just eyeballed it? I really love this. Great Job!!!
Are 2x4s strong enough to not have a wreck or wind problems if you pull a trailer built from them on the freeway, like a tiny house camper, etc? Thanks.
I slowed it down to .25 speed and I still can't see how you remove the rails, may I ask? I assumed a compact saw with a metal cutting blade would be required, but that's not what I see happening.
No es lo horrible que de ver subido los setos a 7pies por lo menos pero cuando termine se dará cuenta tarde jajajaja no lo pude creer hay que estar agachado 😂
Construction technique of th floor mounting on the trailer doesn't look so good. You really should've sealed all the way around th aluminum and not depending on 'lath strips' to hold th Al tight.
Way too small! great for camping, but not as a permanent home! i would feel stressful to live in a tiny house like that! it's normally a size of one's bathroom or a small bedroom! lol
It's still a good idea. Y can't our government (USA) buy a bunch of them and build little villages and get the homeless people out of the cities? If u don't work in the city and can't afford to live there it seems like u would b happy to live in a mini home in a rural area.
Yeah, for you, not everyone is you. Some of us were raised in cars/ housless but a home is a home. He said that, too. It's a camper, not a "home". It's just for utility and function, not permanence. Did you watch this on mute or skip the first part???

Micro, I’d call it nano or atom. Most back yard sheds are bigger. Just a quick note before I watch. I’m sure it will look great.

Great start! I'd love to build a tiny home, too. Can't wait to see the rest of your project! Thanks for sharing!

What made you decide on that height? Would doing 8 feet high make it unstable? I was thinking of doing 5x10x8 high.
Great start. Did you say you haven't built something like this before? It looks like you have been building these for years. Well done.
Thanks! I’ve done plenty of projects and woodworking before but this is really my first time doing actual framing/construction stuff
did he wrap that type around one corner or two corners?
I love your design. Do you mind sharing the rafter dimensions?
put metal o0n trailer, lay 1/2 polystyrene on that than bolt to trailer
use structure lags and screw in from bottom to attach frame, if you wan to remove from trailer these can be accessed
😂 I was Wearing tractor supply hat

The rails were just bolted onto the trailer I purchased, so they were easy to remove.

I’d happily live in that right now

Just to tiny for you
It's a travel trailer, so why not call it that? A house is something you live in on a regular basis...
Can you build me one
It definitely didnt need 8 bolts to attach to the frame
I can’t watch any more, the music in between you explaining what you are doing is horrendous 🧏🏼
