You Won't Believe How Much Fits in this Clever & Compact Tiny House - FULL TOUR

- Опубліковано 27 вер 2024
- In this video, we’re touring a beautifully built tiny house on wheels that’s easy to move around thanks to its lightweight design and ability to go on the road without a special towing permit.
The Nomad tiny house by Minimaliste is 24’ long by 8.5’ wide, so it’s super compact but surprisingly it still fits everything from a U-shaped dinette to a main floor bedroom and even a mini bathtub.
Because it’s designed to be so mobile, it has dual systems to run off-grid or be hooked up to electricity and plumbing. It also has a retractable folding deck at the end for instant outdoor living space wherever it’s parked.

I love your chanel.
Thanks so much Anne! Happy you're enjoying the videos we're making :)
Question. Are these units able to be towed as often as a regular RV? I do not necesylije RV’s yet we want to do some traveling with a place to stay…. Wondered if these are really able to “travel” or just to where you want to park it????
You can travel all you want with it it's built for that on a solid frame strong axles and road legal. I picked up mine at the factory with my Titan XD. Traveled 300 miles North ìn February 2022 followed along real good. With the options I took mine sat at 11,000 lbs dry.
I love your house ❤ I am also sharing 3d small house designs for your reference before making. Thanks ❤
I've seen a wicked number of tiny home designs, but I Cannot believe the number of features I am seeing in only 24 ft.: on or off grid, (The dining area bed has been done.), washer/dryer combo, mini-bathtub, and, most importantly, A Main Floor Bedroom. The design is incredible! 24 ft.!
I’m in the same boat, seen hundreds these types of homes over the years, but this one actually check all the boxes for a true all-in-one on/off grid home.
When she is more relaxed every statement stops sounding like a question. Minimalista is awesome. Some of the folks are French Canadian.
Exactly! I was trying to think of a nice way to say that, and then I saw you already did.
I find it a bit difficult to listen to

I’m glad you’re set now. That’s a BIG size tiny (wheeled)@ 600’ That’s including lofts, yes?
I’m trying to picture it. I have a Studio apt… &
your’s is 113’ bigger.
This one is ok. I get their attempt to fit everything in 1 house,
but for me there isn’t enough storage. I might hafta sleep sleep on the table/couch/bed so I could make the ‘bedroom’ into art studio/storage. LOL.
@@interrupted9671 Which builder makes 600 sqft big tinys? Thanks in advance
This is absolutely brilliant. I've been so keen on tiny home living for several years. Something like this would be absolutely perfect!
Wooow I really really love this I'm in my 50's and enjoy being by myself at times and I can still have my time with my grands plus it just has everything that I need 😊❤
The best all-in-one so far. All on the ground floor. Neat little soak tub!! Very portable for off grid!
Love love love this tiny home. We really like the layout. My husband and I could totally live in that tiny home. Thank you Matt and Danielle 👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Very lovely. Such a beautiful home and no climbing into tiny lofts
I love the slide out microwave. I live in a tiny bungalow due to health problems and love the solutions shown here for living in a tiny home
I like the layout and multi-functional design. I think it was smart to make a double sink kitchen when you don't have a dish washer. I do suggest changing the sink to a 1/3 - 2/3rd sink. If you are going to take up the space for a double sink you might as well be able to fit a 9" x 13" pan inside of it. Two other thoughts for consideration. The cabinets around the bed don't look deep enough for clothes to be hung up with being angled? (They might be and it is just hard to tell from the video) but you have room to make deeper. Lastly, in the hidden night stand storage do you have USB charging/outlet and a maybe a LED light? It really is a necessity to be able to access a USB outlet near the bed and in this case, also around the kitchen table. The bathroom is really great design giving enough light while in the shower and the faux marble makes this look more like a home and less like a box. Thanks for sharing this with us.
I think a full or twin bed would be better for space in bedroom.
Stayed in this Tiny home at the Hunstville Lagoon Harmony Resorts. We loved it!!
Small, but still has everything you need! Wow!!!❤
A little wider would be soooo nice! 🎉
I love that there's an entryway with a coat closet. It's very rare in a tiny home.
We thought that was pretty cool too! Definitely when there's bad weather it's great to have an over hang roof outside and a bit of space when you come in. Thanks for checking out the video :)
Good design for such a small space, really made the most of it.
so compact but beautiful and practical, love everything about it. Great design!
❤❤❤ how much is this model?❤❤❤$$$…..?
Really did amazing job with this. If I even take over the world, I would add many purchasable or rentable tiny home lots in towns/edges of big cities, so people can live in one a few months or years, then move on the next place, etc. Or…buy and stay in their own tiny home lot for 40 years, and have the lot appreciation help with their retirement.
For the most part, it is a good design. My suggestion, though, is that too much storage space is devoted to the kitchen and not enough to clothing needs. I would use at least half of the large pantry as a hanging closet.
What about the hanging space (closet) by the door? And the small bit of hanging space on either side of the bed? Plus the drawers in those mini closets.. i think its adequate for a weekend/vacation home for a family of 4. Really great compact model.
Also under the bed….,
Very nice design, especially with the built-in coat/shoe/storage closet at the front door, bedroom on the main floor and small porch area.
Wow, this is REALLY impressive!!!!
This is my kind of home, functional, tasteful, well thought out.
I'm saving this video, it's the ideal floor plan for me even though my tiny home is10×25 ft.❤❤❤
2:09 Great choice to put flammable clothing up against an inverter.
3:44 That's not a range, it's an exhaust hood.
and why is _every_ storage space in tiny-homes "Extra" storage. When do we see the main storage?
Very small & compact but by far the best use of space I have seen. Maybe 2 pull outs to extend either side of couch so 2 people can sit with their legs up relaxing watching TV but otherwise it's great
I like the hideaway microwave, and the hidden bed nightstand.👏
Well done❤❤❤😊
Smart design. !
That looks really nice
I like their homes and the different concepts and choices available, they make very well build homes.
Nice size and features however I would put latches on doors and different shelves for travel! Otherwise I’m totally jealous! 😊
Am i the only one who misses a good workspot / office in almost every build 😂?
This is perfect!!
Such a clever home!
Built exactly like a camper. Great idea. 👍🇺🇸
Amazing tiny house ! The house is very impressive, I am also sharing 3d small house designs for your reference before making. Have a nice day for all ❤
Beautiful home
I love it!!!
Esthétique très bien conçu et sans escalier. Super
I love this!!
Best design so far 👏👏👏👏👏👏😁👍😁
I liked when the "EAT" sign looked like it said "FAT" .... Pretty awesome. xD
That’s all I saw, even though I knew it said “eat!” 😂😅❤
I saw that and thought ’what a horrible thing to read when you go to grab some snacks!” 😂
Super nice traitor!
This is frankly perfect. I would love this on about 40 + acres of land.
Very nice unit love this
Nice!
Hi. How much approx did this cost?
$86,500 CAD.
Love love loved it.....
Perfect
Nice love it
Love this this would so do me ❤
When they don't tell you the price, RUNNNNN
Or you could look it up.
@Anne Smith if I have to look it up, Then I'm sure it's overpriced!
the owners are a recreational rental park and dealers for the trailers.. so buy a tiny house from them and lease a lot for 5 grand a season from them.
I'm very interested in this tiny dwelling, I've built a Campervan with a Grand Max car, but it doesn't seem spacious enough 😊😊😊
NOW THERE'S NO NEED FOR A QUEEN BED, A DOUBLE ONE IS PLENTY AND HAVE MORE SPACE FOR A HANGING CLOSET. AND IN THE KITCHEN I WOULD RATHER HAVE A SMALLER STOVE, 1 SINK ONLY, NOT 2, TO HAVE MORE COUNTER SPACE FOR MY VITAMIX, INSTANT POT, AIR FRYER & FOOD PREP. COUNTER SPACE.😊
🌺☮️💟🌺
Damn, the AC is set to 24! 🥶
Love the kitchen & all the storage! Glad there's an oven! Main floor bedroom is great, too! But why bother w/ that dumb little tub? It's too small to be practical. If you have an older person, they don't want to have to climb into that thing, & there's no room to stand anyway. If someone needs a shower chair, no room for that, either. The only one who could use that thing is a small kid or a dog. Install a walk-in shower. Much more useful to a wider group of people. If somebody does have a kid that wants a bath, they can add a portable tub. But by installing that tub, you remove options & choices.
I really like it, whats the cost for you his model .
$86,500 CAD.
@@annesmith5192 thank you
What is the overall cost of this one?
Not an budget choice.. more for people who want a cottage but cant or don't want to get a building permit.
Look well built, I'd like to see the wall construction vs standard trailers , especially on their " tow versions " which I'm guessing are pushing the weight limits of a standard 1500 series truck.
It'll typically require a heavy duty truck 3/4 or 1 ton.
This seems very similar to how most campers are designed. That's a good thing though, as they've been housing people for years.
Oh jeez, the _Upspeak..._
That's what it's called? It's annoying AF 😂
wouldnt tht roof be to flat for north america? wouldnt it be dangerous with ice freezing ontop?
It's high time we just admit what a mobile "tiny home" like this is - a well-appointed camper trailer.
Nope, a camper trailer wouldn't be built anything like it!
@@ZeoCyberG [sigh] Look up the phrase "well-appointed".
@@AlbertaGeek I'm aware, doesn't change the facts of how it's actually built. A camper trailer would not be built the same!
@@ZeoCyberG Why wouldn't it? What are the practical differences between a luxury camper-trailer with options to customize and this thing in the video?
@@AlbertaGeek Lots, for starters a Camper isn't framed like a house is and typically will have little to no insulation, lamination that can peel over time, won't be very air tight, etc. Tiny houses uses the same construction standards as a traditional house. It's why they're called houses. Places that have added them to the building codes can even recognize them legally as a regular home, which would never happen with a camper... There's lots more than being on wheels to how something is built.
Cost?
How much $$$$?
Really love this one-floor floorplan! I've never seen a roof pitch like that before.
Mantap
Is it bear proof?
Building my own tiny house now too. Liked and subscribe my fellow vloggers
03:00 "a lot of thought went into the design of this to maximize the functionality of this small space"
in the mean time: There is literally nothing at all under the TV. There is no storage under the narrower part of the bench
👀
On a second thought, I feel like it's more designed for holidays than for true off-grid living...
I live in a Nomad full time. It ain't built like an rv it's double the weight of a rv same size. Can't have storage in the narrow part of bench. All the heating pipes water pipes my water inlet is also there.
Right floor space is good not to have storage. I hang my jackets on that wall. Kitchen garbage can is there space for boots also cat feeding area. Above that space I have my hammock chair hanging there.
For TV got a screen on the bedroom door wall. They built me a nice compartment under the bedroom wall unit for my projector. I love it.
Also the storage drawers under the dining table are super shallow, the toilet could have triple the shelves above it before head height becomes a problem and I don't see outlets ANYWHERE in the bedroom. Heaven forbid you want to charge your phone where you sleep.
This is absolutely a holiday/short term solution and not a permanent place to live.
@SheenaMalfoy bathroom outlet under pharmacy. Outlets and usb on both side of the bed at top of night tables
Tiny House MUST be cheaper than a normal size house
Not exactly... you have to take land into consideration for a regular house and that's half or a third the cost.
a toilet costs 800 dollars not matter compost or city service.. sinks same.. materials same.. Tiny houses generally cost more per square foot than traditional.
Depends, size isn't the only reason for price.
@@OntarioBearHunter Yes and no, cost per sq ft doesn't work linearly by size. Tiny houses pack more functionality into a smaller space and most of the cost of a home, like the kitchen and bathroom, cost more than bedrooms and hallways. So it just doesn't have as much empty space to lower the cost average, which doesn't represent the true costs anyway as cost per sq ft doesn't really tell you things like how well built it is, what features it does and doesn't have, etc. So it's a bit misleading to use cost per sq ft to judge the value of what you're getting, especially when comparing anything significantly different.
Like a custom built house will cost more for a regular traditional house too, it's how traditional houses can go up into the millions for apples to apples comparison as builders like Minimaliste are custom builders.
Really nice home, but it has no loft so you are losing so much storage space.
The letters on the shelf in the kitchen look like they say “FAT”. 😂
Not sure I would want a BLACK WATER POOP TANK under my bed lol
I am an RV tech and regulations where I am state you cannot have your grey water tank or sewage tank inside. They MUST be under the unit and vented through the roof
thought it was a compost toilet. no black tank.
@@OntarioBearHunter she said black tank when she mentioned what was going under the bed
Versus it freezing in the winter and your toilet not working...
@@ZeoCyberG or putting heat tape on it so it doesnt freeze or using insulation....
Does she have a cousin in Texas named Hannah? They look like sisters!
Nice… 😂
The last "tiny house" I lived in was a 70s travel trailer for over 3 yrs.
This tiny house is a mansion compared to that🤣
Looks like a caravan.
a single battery? Don’t we need a bunch of batteries?
Please forgive me, but the upseak was driving me crazy, I couldn't watch all the way through.
Omg- I feel like I’m listening to a soccer mom having a conversation with her little dog 🤮
This is really just a park model camper.
Not for me looks more like a trailer.
It's "really nice".
🥰🥰😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Nope. Seriously? Way too much glass and never have sliding doors. That is foolish.

The title is screaming clickbait pop-up ads
I love the Minimalist's tiny house designs. Though I don't think they have much personality, they're really well thought out.
Personality is made by the owner.
Wow. This is smaller than most tiny homes I've seen and you STILL managed to fit a bath tub! Excellent design.
Nice!
The most functional and practical design I’ve seen yet. I like the walk around bed, the fact that it has a washer/dryer. I think it could use a little more storage for things like linens. I could see this as being perfectly livable if you had it on a nice lot, with maybe a decent sized storage room/garage on the property! 👍🏻👍🏻
** Handsome and clever structure - yes. But I'd replace all that soulless "puddy-esque" paint with warmer hues, as well - warm up the lighting a bit.
I love the minimaliste tiny homes! They're all beautiful. I just wish I could find some land to park one!
One of the best I’ve ever seen. Great design. Love it!
I truly enjoyed watching this tiny home, one of the best designs i have ever seen ❤
that moment when you recognize Minimaliste the second the video starts 😂
First thing I noticed was the beauty of the color leaves.
It's a beautiful setting 😊
Clever design, thanks for the run thru…👍
