Hey all! I hope you enjoy this weeks video tour of this beautiful modern tiny house. As a tall person myself, I can really appreciate so many of the clever design touches in this home. How cool is that shower idea too! Such a clever idea. Thanks for watching! With love, Bryce & Rasa

Hi Bryce and Carrie, It is really awesome that you make such videos. I love a lot of your videos which appreciate living in a much extroverted way. I just had a question about the bed in Carrie's house, and the bathroom area/ Washing Machine/ Refrigerator area. I want to know how you are fitting all of these things in such a small space? I loved the concept but didn't understand why you went the way you did, as I want to do something similar but for 2 people? also I wanted the exact same bed at my home for the last 10 years, but didn't find this concept video anywhere, so didn't know who to contact. I am a engineer, so I can do the bed part, but I want some guidance. Thank you for reading and Lots of love from India. Regards, Himanshu
Thank you for bringing this tiny house to us! Lovely! Like many, I want to know how it works... I can see there are pulleys on each end of the bed, and a remote operated electric winch lowering the bed platform on steel cables... how did they hide the cables so seamlessly so they all look like part of the wall design? And how is it powered?
Happy Sundsy from South Australia! Perfect way to stsrt the day - sitting on my front verandah with a coffee, watching this inspiring video. I'm only 5'11" but I too really appreciate this space built for taller people. That shower concept is brilliant! ! Thanks for sharing.
Katherine McChesney he’s taken it to the next level and made it more practical. The other ones I’ve seen have the clothes stored in the shower and need to be shifted ....
@@TheresaPowers - He might have gotten the idea from someone else, but he expanded on the idea and made it much bigger. Nothing wrong with giving praise to them both. : )
This is just a guess.. I watched another Tiny Home video, and it was a woman in Alaska doing the builds and she used many of the same things in this video. The bed came down and the walls moved for the bathroom. I'm sure you can still search for it here on UA-cam. This was a beautiful build.

I think her house is perfect for someone taller. An Elevator bed is a luxury, but it makes so much sense. A lot for someone so tall would be a pain (I'm imagining bumping my head 🤕😅) The raised kitchen counter is also lovely. The movable wardrobe makes great use of otherwise dead space. Wish they would have shown the mechanics of both bed and wardrobe.
Looks good but having gone through plumbing and leaking issues in my regular home, i'd almost guarantee some water always gets out and will over time, damage the floor and likely also the timber closet that slides over it.

Kari seems to be a lovely person with a brilliant understanding of life ... Simplicity and happiness comes first :) Welcome Kari, what a beautiful, practical place you have
I just finished building my 800 square feet home last week. I thought I did a very good job on design and space management until I see this video. This is so awesome looking home, the design was sleek, style, great space management/functionality , and most of all it is beautiful. I think this young lady and her dad can open up a tiny home business where he can be in charge of architectural design, and she can in charge of all operations, sales, public relations. Together they will build a very successful business. Best of everything to you and your dad, it's such a delightful watching your video. Thank you.
Love, love, love this design. It is perfect also for a single elderly person who needs just that small amount of space with everything accessible. And here it is. Thank you for sharing.
I loved everything about this interview! Kari has a beautiful voice, and is skilled at giving the right amount of information. Such a gorgeous and ingenious home! Saved to favorites!
This is an amazing tiny house. She created a dream modern home and all the corner are wonderful used. All things fit incredible. Her project is marvellous and the decoration is pretty. She looks like a sweet and balanced person. I wish her all the best for her life. Thank you for share this beautiful and unique tiny house.
I wish I had the language to describe the aesthetics I see in a like of tiny homes like this one. I know that if I tried to describe this to someone they would say "that sounds terrible" but a I can see a lot of thought and care and love went into building this and it shows. It is really nice to look at.
This is definitely my favorite. A tall shower, room to sit on your own bed, living room and plenty of room for clothes/ storage! I could definitely live here . I can’t say that about most of the tiny homes I’ve seen. Wow
Hands down one of the most gorgeous, livable, breathable and stylish tiny houses I’ve ever seen! What an ingenius, practical and aesthetically pleasing design throughout! Her father was obviously brilliant at his art. WOW.
my favorite episode to date. she is absolutely lovely + her energy is so calming. she took a series of difficult things and made something beautiful. I'm so inspired. Thank you for sharing this with us
I am also tall, and have made counter risers for rentals I've lived in and saved my deposit money by doing this as well. Doing so created flat utensil ( oven pans/trays, chopping boards etc) under these risers. Fairly easy to do, easily finished off with granite or tile to adapt a built-in look. One place I did it in I actually raised the existing sink and reset it, replacing setting when I moved. Another place had a "farmhouse" trough style sink which I merely left in place. Both were quite satisfying.
Came back for a revisit on this one. Still one of my all time favorite designs. The hidden shower and bed lift just makes this small space so livable. And the modern “ Scandinavian” design makes it look clean yet comfortable.
This is by far one of my favorite tiny houses and Kari seems like such a sweet person. I'm glad to see her happy, she deserves it! I hope I can have a tiny house like hers one day.
Haha so true, except when he opened the bathroom door on a pretty basic student build in Wellington New Zealand.. There he paused and said gasping 'this is cute'.
After watching every episode and marveling at the creativity and sheer fearlessness of the owners, I think this one is my favorite! I love that her Mom and Dad were part of her new adventure in such a supportive way. The house is so ergonomic and friendly. Congratulations Kari. Thanks for sharing with us 🌞
Im an Architect and when I saw the old school drawings I immediately hit the like before seeing the rest of the video.. Well done to you and your team Kari!!
Another incredible tiny home, and with a TALL person living in it. I am 6'2" and I know that this will be taken into consideration when I build my Tiny Home.
When you are tall, you need to have furniture and sinks at your height. I litterally break my back everytime I do the dishes (I am 1,82meter, apparently in english you say 6ft)
I'm a 6-5" artist as well and just recently moved into a studio apartment that is roughly this size, but not nearly as well thought out. I have done some creative things to make it livable, by building a loft for the bed, but what you have done is beyound cool. The shower shelf concept is money and the decor is beautiful. Seeing other tall people live this way is inspiring. I am all about the experiences and not the stuff, so love everything about this space. I just want to be comfortable and feel good about my little corner of the world, but I don't need a lot. This has inspired me! I love the comments about a tiny space freeing up space in your life and could not agree more. Thanks for sharing your story and your home! (BTW... Your illustrated journals are way cool too)!
The design and layout of this tiny home are about as perfect as I've seen, not to mention the spectacular bed and shower designs. The wardrobe is also the best design that I've seen in a tiny home. Her design style and family members' input and creativeness were very fortunate gifts in helping with the project. What a beautiful, classy lady.

Bradley Gaming I suggest you watch that tiny house castle episode they have on here. Your mind will be blown. It was the one with a couple and one kid and the woman was like a trapeze artist.
i need a tv tho
Thank you for sharing this incredible build..... So many innovative and exceptional features. It feels calming , just watching it ❤
She obviously got her dad's keen eye and artistic talent--her artwork is really good!
I think she n her dad n sister can venture on a tiny house business..im sure it would be successful.
Running a business like that is a LOT of work and I doubt she wants that.
Kari seems to be a lovely person with a brilliant understanding of life ... Simplicity and happiness comes first :) Welcome Kari, what a beautiful, practical place you have
She is gorgeous and so is her tiny house! As a tall myself, it's also cool to see a tiny house that fits two tall people so comfortably. Great design.
Exactly!
The shower is PURE GENIUS! OMG
It sure is! Thanks for watching. :)
@@livingbig Oh hi! Thanks for amazing and inspiring videos! :)
Thank you.
Her positivity emanates right through the screen. I love her story.
Love, love, love this design. It is perfect also for a single elderly person who needs just that small amount of space with everything accessible. And here it is. Thank you for sharing.
What a pleasant and positive person
I loved everything about this interview! Kari has a beautiful voice, and is skilled at giving the right amount of information. Such a gorgeous and ingenious home! Saved to favorites!
So true. She is a good complement to Bryce. I would watch a show with the two of them!
It is really nice to look at.
sfbuck415 - sexy daddy :)
sfbuck415 - hey sexy daddy are you in SF? Im 20 mins away from SF. Wanna chat?
It glows with warmth and light, and looks like a place you'd like to be. Many of them don't.
I love this house the most. She has such a sweet soul
Can you imagine her twerking? 😂 😂 😂
I can and it doesn't fit her beautiful personality. She's adorable!
What a delightful woman. Amazing work on the home.
Yay for tall girls that can go tiny, love her build.
Her home is so elegantly done. It's very warm and inviting and certainly very livable. Another great video and home Bryce. Kudos
Thanks Landon!
@@livingbig Anytime brother. Safe travels and looking forward to the next one.
She’s a delight! I could listen to her talk all day. So gracious and articulate!
This is definitely my favorite. A tall shower, room to sit on your own bed, living room and plenty of room for clothes/ storage! I could definitely live here . I can’t say that about most of the tiny homes I’ve seen. Wow
Really incredible home, and wonderful design. Wishing you the best in your home!
Hands down one of the most gorgeous, livable, breathable and stylish tiny houses I’ve ever seen!
What an ingenius, practical and aesthetically pleasing design throughout!
Her father was obviously brilliant at his art.
WOW.
Hello Gnarbel
How are you doing today?
Look at these two cutiee. Really bonding over being tall and having raised benchtops.
hahahahahahaha exactlyyy
She’s so well spoken! I can listen her talk for hours. :3
I really love that idea that tiny houses free up space; monetarily, mentally, temporally, and physically.
my favorite episode to date. she is absolutely lovely + her energy is so calming. she took a series of difficult things and made something beautiful. I'm so inspired.
Thank you for sharing this with us
Hello Marnie
How are you doing today?
As someone who is 6'2", I would appreciate all the counter tops being sized for my height! Less back strain.
I never considered that. My next cabinet/counters will be taller! Lol
Prep on low benches or tables is the fucking worst
She did a wonderful job. Her entire family is so talented.
“Tiny-living frees up space, it frees space in you budget, in your mind and in your way of living.” 👍🏻👍🏻😍
This is by far one of my favorite tiny houses and Kari seems like such a sweet person. I'm glad to see her happy, she deserves it! I hope I can have a tiny house like hers one day.
I love the moveable bed. Best feature. Stairs or ladders would get annoying if you have bad knees.
Or had to climb up/down ladders to use the bathroom at night.
I like cute tiny houses but it's so hard to live in tiny houses 😵😵 her boyfriend feel uncomfortable During bang bang 😥😥
I have seen lots of tiny houses but this is one of a kind for sure.
I like cute tiny houses but it's so hard to live in tiny houses 😵😵 her boyfriend feel uncomfortable During bang bang 😥😥
This tiny home is actually my favorite so far because it seems the most innovative. The lowering bed and shower really are clever ways to save space!.
Another brilliant touch is the glass bedside table letting light in when the bed is elevated!
Everytime Bryce enter a tiny house,he will always say this: -this is absolutely lovely
-this is absolutely stunning
-this is absolutely beautiful
😍😍😍
Haha so true, except when he opened the bathroom door on a pretty basic student build in Wellington New Zealand.. There he paused and said gasping 'this is cute'.
@@becmoran9119 haha that's right
Or "wow its so cozy!" if the space is especially small lol
Absolutely! 😻
@@JingerYeoh hey I've followed you on Instagram
This is the best tiny house I have seen in this channel. It expresses consideration for other people and respect for norms.
She has a really nice house. Think Her and Her Dad designed it well.
After watching every episode and marveling at the creativity and sheer fearlessness of the owners, I think this one is my favorite!
I love that her Mom and Dad were part of her new adventure in such a supportive way.
The house is so ergonomic and friendly. Congratulations Kari. Thanks for sharing with us 🌞
That shower and bed BLEW MY MIND. I'm definitely using that in my next van build.
Im an Architect and when I saw the old school drawings I immediately hit the like before seeing the rest of the video.. Well done to you and your team Kari!!
OMG! I loved this episode, and I loved her, so humble so honest! Her dad AMAZING shower/closet idea! Pufff!! The best!
Yes
Another incredible tiny home, and with a TALL person living in it. I am 6'2" and I know that this will be taken into consideration when I build my Tiny Home.
My hubs is 6 ' 3", and it does make us look at things differently.
When you are tall, you need to have furniture and sinks at your height. I litterally break my back everytime I do the dishes (I am 1,82meter, apparently in english you say 6ft)
Would love to do the tall counters for my son who is 6’2”. His back hurts all the time from frequently bending for counters and sinks.
@@alicefaitdescarabistouille924 -Hilarious. "1.82meter, apparently in english you say 6ft"
Finally one I think I could live in! :O I'm not tall, but with my mobility issues this house with the lowering bed works. Well done, I love it!
This has to be the best or at least top 5 I’ve seen. And I’ve seen a LOT.
Me too .... I'm in love with not having to climb a ladder .and not having a loft...LOL!!!
Agreed.
This is the best tiny house tour I’ve watched. Her father is an incredible designer! I absolutely love the bed and the shower
Her house is awesome , the hidden shower blown up my mind very thoughtful of her father i really liked everything about the house 💛💛
Glad you enjoyed the tour!
Bryce, you and your partner really do an amazing job capturing these hidden gems. Thank you
She is sooo fortunate to have a dad who helped her make this *beautiful* big tiny home ❣️❣️❣️
Her dad Is a genius...kudos to her and him. Love her house
When she said “I do have a shower”, I thought it was gonna come down from the ceiling like the bed... plot twist it came out of the floor 👀
Same 😂
The design and layout of this tiny home are about as perfect as I've seen, not to mention the spectacular bed and shower designs. The wardrobe is also the best design that I've seen in a tiny home. Her design style and family members' input and creativeness were very fortunate gifts in helping with the project. What a beautiful, classy lady.
This lovely lady's home is truly amazing, and so is her art! Wow, love it.
She is an example when stuff goes wrong , bad or whatever negative . She found a way to make it positive and not hold her back
The elevator bed coning down and hidden shower! Would love to see how that was made.
So would I its genius
In my country, a company specialises in that sort of smart design and notoriously sells elevator style beds! It's quite pricey but brilliant.
She's so well articulated and seems to be a very nice person ❤️ love her.
Her house is amazing, the design it's incredible and I love all the details that makes it her own space. Beautiful lovely house ❤️
