    The GT has both cruise control and a really nice TFT dash, so I'm hoping both those features make it to the S soon. If it gets those, it's a pretty easy to justify purchase for me.

    I would like to see a 2025 GSX-S750 with TFT screen, quick shifter, the S1000's styling, 410 lbs, 5 gallon tank, and the current GSX-R750 L series engine.

    Good to hear about the gearbox\quickshifter on this bike. A good gearbox adds so much to the riding experience. There are a few manufacturers who could take a lesson from Suzuki on that.

    Nice fair review & I think you really got the point of the bike & where it fits in. Too many reviewers ignore price as a highly significant factor for people in the real world as they're always riding the latest & greatest for free & getting paid to do it too. I've no doubt the dash will be upgraded but knowing Suzuki it will probably take at least 2 years. Also living in the UK the sun isn't really an issue for us & it looks great in the pissing rain lol. Maybe a bit oddly I think they should keep it on the Katana as it really suits the 80's inspired retro imo.

    • @s4m130
      @s4m130 2 роки тому +1

      I hope they fix the dash asap, cos the reviews have all panned it. However, that does kinda mean that the more expensive katana would maybe need it too? And this 80s look was designed for that.

      @@s4m130 Tbh the dash really isn't that bad imo. Yes it's dated & it should've been a TFT etc but it's readable & has all the necessary info. It really doesn't bother me that much as I prefer dials anyway. With the Katana you"re paying extra for the retro name & style (wrongly imo) so personally if the dash looks 80's that makes sense. With all that said I suspect Suzuki will update them in due course or at least definitely on the GSXS.

    Why don't Suzuki use antiglare on the inside of the glass that would make it easier to read in sun light.

      What does that mean? If you've ridden any of these recent gsx-s variants - they are fantastic machines - no glitches to ride around, great handling, fast - very fast - they're as good a bike, as you are a rider. Is that old man-ish.

    How easy or difficult would it be to install the fairing of the GT on this?

    • @cyclenews
      @cyclenews  2 роки тому +2

      You'd have to change many things, so you'd b best off to just buy the GT. There'd be no mounting points or anything on this bike to accept the fairing.

    Hey Rennie, I road the 2015 and the fueling/throttle response was shocking. It had a really snatchy throttle. Has that been fixed now?

    • @cyclenews
      @cyclenews  2 роки тому +2

      In A mode it's still a bit snatchy, but in B mode it was pretty nice. That's where I left it on my test. A mode was pretty useless.

      Hi, i have one with almost 3000kms, and the throttle its pretty responsive in A Mode. Its Just on point if you want a fast response on throttle with the engine. Its not laggy like the previous model. B Mode its Just slower throtlle response. Just good to use on City with alot of traffic. Iam always on A Mode.
      And please dont compare this one to a z900..
      This is a way more motorcycle only lost to that tft on kawas.
      The k5 is on another level.
      Cheers from Portugal

    Hi Rennie, given you have ridden both the new GSXS1000 and the CB1000R in the canyons, which would you say is the better handling bike please?

    • @cyclenews
      @cyclenews  Рік тому

      Hey, Rene,
      I'd probably go for the GSXS, but only just. The ergonomics on the CB are a little funky for my taste. Although both bikes are very similar overall.

    • @Route_Twisk
      @Route_Twisk Рік тому

      Thank you Rennie. That is an interesting observation on the ergonomics. There are no test rides here and the best I got was a sit on both. I felt was over the front wheel on the GSXS as I felt on my Z1000, almost Supermoto style. I like this. On the CB, the tank is longer and hence a distance to the front. With less weight over the front, I can only deduce less feel. However, some reports do say excellent feel on the CB (Visordown). Thank you again.

    the Z900 is not the competition for the GSXS1000 at all the Z900 is way down on power compared to the suzuki. Its more likely next step between the Z900 and the stupid power hyper bikes like the Superduke R but at 11k the Suzuki is a bargain its a comfy very fast sports naked that you can ride all day and is very capable. closest thing to it would have been the kawasaki Z1000

    The main problem with Suzuki, at least in my area, is that the dealer just doesn't have any inventory. This predates Covid. Maybe 3 to 6 bikes on the floor, for years.

    • @TheForgedReality

      I hope they don't also put the side-by-side headlights from that thing on this. I hate when bikes have two headlights and only one is on. It looks ridiculous. You could ride with high beams all the time, but then one light is actually different and a lot brighter than the normal headlight. It's a dealbreaker for me. I don't mind them stacked the way they are on this one though. It's a little robot-y looking, but still kind of cool at the same time. I wonder if you could just fit the TFT to this or if the software and connection are not compatible. :/

    Why do people drool over cruise control so much? These bikes are getting to the point where they won't even need a rider anymore.
