If you have a TRX or suspension trainer, but aren’t sure where to start with using it, then this workout video is for you. Combining strength and fitness through some of the basic movements, this can be a really effective muscle workout without the use of any weights. You can adjust your body position to make the exercise harder or easier, so it really can be tailored to you.

I was a TRX instructor for a few years. I recently was quite sick and this was my first workout back at it! Brilliant!! It was easy to follow and challenging enough to get me sweating. Loved it?

Took my TRX out to the garage door in the backyard, bcs for some reason all all doors inside the house open in the wrong direction...anyway, did this training 2 days ago, and I am still sore. :D

I've never done TRX before, but I recently got it. I've watched a lot of different beginner videos, but none resonated quite like yours. There's a special vibe =) The timing, sequence, speed - it's like this program was made for me =) After a very long break, today marked a new start. Honestly, it wasn't easy, considering how much extra weight I've gained in the last 6 years. But everything went great. I hope, step by step, I'll start following your next TRX video. Hi Richard, I’m on week 2 of this work out. I’m almost 71 and wanted to get some strength. I love this workout. I’m actually doing w/no problem. I want to increase my workout time in the future after I’m done being a beginner. Will you be making a trx advanced workout video by chance? Your a great teacher. Very gentle on this grandma 😅

I bought some TRX straps without any plans, other than to start exercising. I found this video, and have been doing it every day for the last 3 weeks. It's perfect! Although the smoke alarm beep gets me every time 😂

I would, just like to ask a question about the amount of sets, I noticed that you do/suggest two sets, instead of what would normally be the norm with three sets, certainly in a gym with conventional weights.
I’ve seen a little controversy about how many sets should be done for workouts, and it appears that a lot of modern thought on this topic is that two should be beneficial and okay, would you agree with this, or would you suggest increasing sets after gains start to be made after a few weeks?

Ive really enjoyed Richard's instructions. I was actually able to the whole 22 minutes. It qould be helpful if Richard would.let us know what body part each exercise is for.
This is great to hear! I normally mention what muscles the exercise is working while explaining the exercises or during it. However, sometimes I will use the clinical term instead of a generic term e.g. "Deltoids" instead of "Shoulders" and other times, round the other way. It depends on what springs to mind as I'm filming 😂

Question: Is TRX ok to do if you have HBP under control?
Yes, most exercises with TRX should be OK.

How many times a week should I do this work out?
Maximum 3 x week, but it would be better to investigate other forms of exercise alongside this one.
@@ExerciseForHealthwhy only 3 times. I feel this is a good beginning work for people who haven’t done any exercise in multiple years.
