You guys kick ass 💯
Fuck yeah! Onpoint again
They owned it. What a treat!
Love that Sun poster or whatever on the wall, where can I get one?
You guys are Great!
Area code?
Many Zeppelin covers fail because singers try to be Plant, that pretty much never works, Yall made it your own while clearly expressing your love for the source material. That's how you cover a song.
Agree
The only person who didnt fail while traying to sing like plant is the greeta van fleet dude
100% agreement.
@@msp234 oh yes he did
Great comment
guitar player look like he been waiting his entire life to cover this song hahaha well done!
Watch the redbone cover next!
And their war pigs and have a cigar! Guitarist goes off on those, but they all do really, incredible musicians here.
@@lexa3331 That Have a Cigar solo...like he is in a different dimension!
Dude that guy always brings his big boy pants , check out the pink floyd covers this band did , he goes apeshit
You can tell that dude loves this shit
This makes my hair stand on end and brings tears to my eyes.
It's nothing short of sublime.
uhhh, speechless, fellas. At first I thought you were attempting the impossible and disaster was looming -- but then there were no mistakes - you had the meter - and it was a different version over the original structure. but very respectful -- the song remained the same but with some new voices. and then the new heights the guitar achieved that even Jimmy didn't hear --- adventurous and tearing out your heart -- then matched in passion and expression by the vocals --- true artists -- almost wish i hadn't heard it - now i have to go out and find some windowpane .....
Not generally a fan of cover bands, but these guys find the perfect balance of originality and the underlying composition in every song they pick and smash it out of the park every time. Outstanding work fellas, keep it up
Welcome to the machine, cover by dream theater
Do you ever get annoyed when you want to give a video a 'like', but you already liked it a year ago, and UA-cam doesn't care if you've watched it a dozen times, one like is all you get.
They should make it like MeWe where you can use different emojis and stuff
@@aarondavis4341 "this needs to stop" - franku circa '94

I think if you create a new identity with a different email, then you can vote a million times if you want to...
I feel like this about guitar lessons I've watched 100x.
Sound engineer on all these songs= A++++++
I second that
yep.
Absolutely.
guitar carried it
Fukin oath
The heavy riff on No Quarter is one of my all-time favorite riffs. Man, Jimmy could write em.
John Paul Jones wrote this song
yeah, this was all Jones
do agree
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but jimmy stole this from the other jime. Listen to machine gun live version
@@barisk40 yeah great. We’re all better off for it though
Who ever is doing the sound mix is AMAZING
For sure. It is as much about the excellent recording quality as it is about the great playing.
haha fellow audiophiles all having the same moment. thought the same exact thing
Can we all just appreciate the filming in this. Camera man, you give this video the quality it deserves, great work.
Really, the camera works is heavy psychedelic
I got no trouble with the camera work. They probably asked one of their friends to make a video recording of one of their practice sessions and that is exactly what this is.
I think we're all spoiled by these 12 camera setups with professional lighting and editing. Well, these guys are playing in a living room. Nothing at all wrong with starting somewhere but your comment tells me that you're never been in a band.
You should see some of the recordings of my bands from the 1980s. We would put the HUGE video camera on a tripod, try to get the whole band in the frame and then try to remember to turn the camera on before songs and stop the camera after the song was over. External microphones? Additional lighting? What are those things?
Don't forget the sound guy, it sounds as good as it looks, all the instruments coming through, no one getting drowned out.
I don't think the camera guy likes the bass player lol
I totally agree
This guy doesn't play the guitar, he IS the guitar.
It is simply an extension of his soul lmao
@@BLH5960 that's is!!! hahaha
Max is the man
They got his name right.... hes definitely the max.
Thank you guitar man! That was the shit 🎉
One of the few LZ covers that aint a note by note carbon copy of the original. Extremely well done.
Holy shit!!! OMG!!! Holy shit!!! I'm in awe. As soon as the drums and guitar started, BOOM!!! It hit me good. It reached my soul. I vibrated the entire rest of the song. This is arguably the best cover of a rock song ever. God bless you all. Namaste 🙏
I'm 63, bought the first zeppelin album when it was new with saved lunch money, saw them in Atlanta at the stadium, went on to play rock guitar on the road for a couple of decades and I still play everyday.
That was extremely well done.
I hope Mr Plant/Page/Jones get to listen to this.
I kept waiting for no guitar solo or some meh player.
I know how to play and THIS guy is VERY good.
Salute to each of you.
And thanks.
Damn, your old. I thought i was the old guy here at 62! These guys really do some of the best covers i have ever heard. Maybe the best actually?
You're older than me.
Bonzo probably appreciates it too
For sure!!!
I am 63 as well...
They are all very good
Words cannot describe how excited I was when I saw this. I’ve been listening to Have A Cigar regularly since it was posted, I cannot wait to see how they shred this one.
Same man! And you always know Matt will burn through his solo
Right there with ya, all the proof needed that covers are worth doing/exploring
All their covers are delicious but have a cigar absolutely kills it. Redbone by childish gambino is a powerhouse of a cover too.
Wow, just wow, right out of the deep closet classics...😎
Me too, have a cigar was amazing.
I got a goosebumps when he started to sing this chorus. Amazing.
I am 67 years old,and you cats have WILDLY knocked this out of the park.No b******t.I thank you for such a tremendously beautiful gift.God bless all of you and please, please, please, keep it up!!!!!!
Favorite band. Guitar tone on point. Solo brutal phrasing. Keys just nasty. Drums so good. Everything divine
Was gonna say, you cant leave that bass out!!! This would be empty without it carrying that rhythm.
That damn bass improvisation with the drums though. Makes you want to dance to this slow beat.
@Gary G.O.A.T or a pair of decent monitors
Led zeppelin - Since I've been loving you
Please please please
Ooooohhhh yes, I 45th this please!
There's a vid of them doing it live on one of their full shows. It's fucking unreal
Si por favoooooooooor
Yes please! Greatest blues song ever written
oh please since ive been loving you
I feel like I can hear each instrument individually, like looking at a multi-storied building, knowing each floor belongs to a particular instrument. Nice engineering!
7:06 the ending riffs were played so perfectly. In my opinion no quarter is one of zeppelins best songs.
@Alex Beall it’s my favorite for sure. The live in Madison square garden version specifically
Yes and Battle of Evermore.
I couldn't honestly answer that one, but they were one of my favorites!
You guys captured the atmosphere of that song absolutely perfectly.
I was highly impressed by your take on "Have a cigar", and now I'm doubly impressed. Well done, well done.
Pretty good!
Same here
War pigs was meh but those 2 you mentioned were truly inspired
The mixing/engineering spot on too. Everything 10/10
Since I've Been Loving You
Awesome on that also.
Same here Pedro
As a huge Led Zeppelin fan, you guys make me extremely proud of your fantastic work of this iconic piece of music genius. Cheers!!!
Extremely ethereal. Simmering strength. Ultimate urgency.
Cosmically connected. Downright devastating.
Well said Troy
Absolutely enamoring cover. Love it.

@@nickywags0712 hey thanks bro. Even though I’m a year late in responding.
Goosebumps.
Also while I love Robert Plant's singing, hearing someone who enunciates is really nice. Made me realize that I barely know the lyrics to a song I've been listening to for over 30 years.
Etching a path where no one goes or they choose a path where no one goes?
Sure
You just an asshole
The "they ask no quarter, they give no quarter" part is so much more ... menacing in this version.
@@brianmiller1077 Precisely!
Holy shit that is probably the best zeppelin cover I’ve ever heard
The lead guitarist has some MAJOR SKILLS
One of the most powerful guitar solos I’ve heard in a while.
Also.....that solo.....some of the tastiest phrasing I've heard in a while, tons of passion in this band.
I don’t say this lightly. But this was honestly the best cover of any song I’ve heard in my entire life.
Have you heard the tool cover? It’s probably safe to say this cover was inspired by LZ and Tool
I listen to a lot of music. I listen closely, and I am critical. I honestly cannot refute your statement.
Will Yarrington good to hear from another like minded individual 🤘

If I could push like for every time I have watched (listened to) this video, it'd be up like 10,000 more likes. LOVE IT!
What a VOICE, my god! Chills!
Blues come from Gospel music. Rock comes from Blues..... This guy has a great gospel voice. We are full circle. I love the band. I love the vocals.
Blues didn't come from gospel, both gospel and blues originated from the same people at roughly the same point in time, both followed different paths.
Blues and Gospel are timeless, transcendent forms off music that have existed in every culture, from every corner of the globe since the beginning of time. This group is American 🇺🇸
Gabriel Blues did, in fact come from Gospel music. It was based there, and it grew from there.
Best discussion about things I know very little about intellectually but aurally am so familiar with. I grew up gospel then into rock and found blues last. To learn how it all developed is gratifying.
Every member of this band is extremely talented and looks like they are genuinely enjoying and feeling the music.
With that said, I think Corey knocked it out of the park with his vocals in this cover.
Also as like Maynard from Tool
These wizards have such a unique ability to tap into the soul of a song and give its beauty another hue of love and colour. Much love y’all.
The brother can sing. The whole band is great!
This dudes voice is heavenly good
You should also do Since I've Been Loving You!!
He's definitley got voice for that song. I can just imagine how guitarist is going to cover solo

They’ve done it live before, some recordings of it. But yeah, an official cover would rock
Battle of Evermore too would sound good but need back up vocals
Oh hell yes
Man, that was transcendent! Every musician was top notch, and the vocalist, well he gave me chills! Really captures the energy of the original while completely making it their own! Well played my friends, well played!

5:25 is a fine example of a band straight vibing with they closest of friends covering a song they all equally love and respect pouring their every being into it because they know it deserves that level of respect. That's what a cover/ a band is all about straight vibin doin what you love.
@@TheDarthneko no but I am a musician and I know what it looks like

When I first heard the singing style, I doubted how I felt about this cover. By the end of the video I couldn't love the vocalist more and the hype at the ending between the whole band actually had me getting up out of my chair. That shit went so insanely hard, how is this cover only at 1.5 mil views.
Washington Post: Guitar is dying

Vic Keyser they said guitar based music was on the way out before the Beatles. Let them talk
@Diego Brando 「ТӤЄ шӨЯLD」 appreciate the thought but do you really have to post this thing under every comment thread like a copypasta? like, we get it dude it's a good prog piece, why would anyone fight you for that?
How the hell do these guys not have 1 million subs? Every damn one of their covers are hitting the spot!
I went to five Zeppelin concerts between '69 and '73. I've seen the real thing at 18, on acid and from the front row, so don't tell me about some cover band and how great they are because you don't know. This was something else, more than a cover, more than a tribute, these guys are genuinely phenomenal!
Cool
Surrrrre you did...
Tim Prescott what old people use UA-cam
Acid hunh? Yeah, I can tell.
People like Tim Prescott makes me hate the internet!!!!
The way they incorporated that imagery with the sword in the beginning just shows how big of fans they really are of zeppelin. Straight out of their concert movie.
I feel nothing but respect for this song in your cover. Thank you so much. Amazing talent all around!
Holy shit. Chills. Seriously impressed. Found by accident. Gained a fan!
Me too!
I'm glad UA-cam algorithm is on my side once more.

2nd time in 2 days for me. Thanks Susan!
Amen..lol
Right. In. The. Feels.
Straight up banger gives me chills every time I hear this cover. You guys crushed it.
This band will one day go down in history as in fuckin credible! Mark my words.
That's the most honest guitarist out here. Whole band really. Like bedroom musicians that just simply love music. There's a camera, but this is no act. They not trying to be cool, that's just how they are. Dope.
When one song makes you want smile and cry and jump and chill all at the same time... Wow!
The singer has earned my respect because he doesn't try to be Plant. So many people try to be the band and it fails but he has such a strong voice and raw passion that he can make any cover his own. Also, these guys really rose to the challenge. Zeppelin pushes EVERYONE who even tries far beyond their limits and capabilities. These guys...Well, for these guys it was, "Hold my beer."
Simply the best cover of Zep. I have ever heard. Corey was spot on with his singing. Blues excellence was clearly in his voice. Main Squeeze is an excellent band and I love the other songs as well. Thanks guys.
Few bands have the balls to cover Zeppelin and of those that do, most screw it up in some way. Not these guys. They made this song their own and didn't try to be Zeppelin, especially the singer. Major props for that. The guitar player killed it. P.S. Why did it take 2 years for this to show up in my feed??? WTF UA-cam!
Do a cover of I Want You (She's so Heavy) by the beatles! That would be frickin awesome.
Paul NOT The Real McCartney UP!
Fucking up
I agree.
Eddie Hazel version????
DUDES THIS PLEASE!!!!
Fantastic work, fellas. The best idea with Zep covers is exactly what you guys did here: Be YOU. Put YOUR flavor on the song while retaining the basic structure. That's why this works 100%, IMHO.
Been watching these guys a bit. I'm a purist, but you know what ??? I actually stood up in disbelief.
Kudos from an old retired roadie.....

Excellent job.
As was mentioned in prior comments, producing a carbon copy is pointless. The original speaks for itself. Making it your own version, infused with your own voice is what matters. These dudes have done just that. I'm glad I've stumbled upon this video.

I'm so impressed. I hope JPJ gets to hear this. I'll go wipe my tears now..
Exactly!! Bands that do "covers" and play note for note replications, i.e. trying to sound precisely like the original are very boring. When you inject your own band's sound and style that's when I sit up and take notice (and watch the whole video!) ... for an entirely different take on LZ covers check out Iron Horse... it's Led Zep tunes played as Bluegrass, totally cool!!
Powerful stuff man
You might like TOOL’s cover of no quarter, it’s a couple minutes longer and a lot darker but the drums make it really special
