Not surprised to hear that Dawg. The King and Don interview was great, King Fowley's boisterous swagger is always infectious. The best part was watching Don, setting in between you and King and struggling all the way to squeeze in a few words over the motormouth ramblings of King.

Domination is Death Metal. It’s just not as dark or heavy as other Morbid Angel albums
It's darker in some ways. It's a slower type of Death Metal than the other Morbid Angel albums. Heretic is a weaker album than Domination, but they both suck overall. Formulas, and Gateways are the best Morbid Angel albums. Steve Tucker is much superior to Too small of a size cowboy hat David Vincent. Tucker should have replaced him right after Altars of Madness, because the Vocals sound gay , in every sense of the word. David Vincent has become a joke
Dominate and Dawn of the Angry are the stand out songs for me. I like it overall.

A Don/Paul interview would be cool!
That could be hilarious
When I first heard grindcore and deathmetal in the 80s, I was instantly hooked. I was into slayer, etc, and wanted something heavier. The extreme vocals were an immediate draw.
Anvil are the worst long running metal band I can think of. They deserve credit for being heavy early, but that's about it.
The first 3 are very solid heavy metal records, and had they been from England or had their releases out 1-2 years earlier than they did, I think we’d be talking about Anvil in a different light. That being said, your opinion stands, and I agree with it!

There are too many god damn people into it now. Then I saw Incantation here in CT around the same time, and there were legit like maybe 25 people there maximum. Shit I figured INCAN would draw more than that even then. Same with Krisiun in New Haven, CT. Same with Immolation. The one band that did draw a good crowd here in CT was Morbid Angel. All in all, I'm looking forward to it going back to truly underground. Now yes, it’s not the heaviest album out there. Actually I find it odd anyone who would at least think Covenant is good album not think Domination is at least ok.
