Dead's vocals were great. Every trendy idiot (who was not playing Thrash) was doing shitty boring deep death grind growls at the time. People today don't understand that the Quorthon style of singing wasn't popular in the late 80s, and into 1990/91. Dead was unique.

Dead had the 'Black Metal' look and attitude but imo Attila vocals on De Mysteriis are perfect and make that album sound alot more evil. One of the best bm albums out there. I don't think Deads vocals would have had the same effect on De Mysteriis.

When we gonna get a review of the new Deicide? I love Deicide but I ain't gonna lie, wasn't that impressed, it's good but not as memorable as I was hoping it would be. Opinion could change on a second listen though.
I listened to it at the gym and liked it. Gonna have to buy the CD and listen to it on my stereo with liquor for an official opinion.
