Yo Sponge, is it true that you were at Arby’s once and Gaalh showed up and asked “where’s the meats?” and you said “in my mouth broski!” and ever since, you two have been inseparable, brah brah?
Brah, brah...the proteins and broteins come in many forms...all them bands with "sac" gotta get emptied at one time or another...them chiseled jaws ain't no stranger to the danger...the 🍖 is alive and well...
You guys are a riot.
So when Gaalh stopped by at Arby's is that when he tipped Dawg off to the healthful ways of clove tea and it's beneficial effects on sperm motility?
Speaking of Arby's, I have an autographed mailing (of a new Arby's location grand opening), I took it to the new Arby's pen in hand and "General Manager Chastity Harvey" signed it for me. Still have it to this day. 🍔

I saw Slayer on their very first tour, and I can say they didn't load their own equipment, even back in1984. That being said, they were very accessible, we partied with them at the cheap motel they were staying at. It's just weird to see how huge they became.
Mayhem Fest 2015 was a blast getting to see both King Diamond and Slayer in the same night. Caught Vinnie Paul's drumstick at the end of Hellyeah's set. Still have it!
I was there!!! Honestly it was the best! King diamond was unforgettable.
Sounds like a awesome time
Question, where the Nickname dog comes from is it from snoop dogg ?
👍
Bloodbath and Archgoat this year
I’ll be seeing them in Chicago
Lord Worm was the nicest dude ever, we talked about how he taught "English" in Canada, He was running the merch table at the show which had about 50 people there on a tour for Once Was Not.
Remember seeing him up in Worcester, MA at Irish Times, I believe...Once Was Not, for sure...standing alone with his leather cloak...definitely a character and would be a killer interview.
I met Lord worm when he played at a show in Massachusetts and it was his last show. Goratory opened for them and I met him backstage
He was really cool 😎 not sure what he has been doing
Ive heard he’s a professor but I didn’t know it taught in canada.
Yo sponge did u decide not to talk to the klansmen of gbk at that one show bc you were afraid they might know your big secret brah brah?
The reason bands don't change their name is due to name recognition. Labels won't let them change names. Especially if they are under contract. You'd have to start over as a new band. You'd have an edge because you were already known, but that's not how labels see it. They'd rather get the initial sales and deal with the hate later.
That's also why so many movies get re-made. To cash in on a property which already has some sort of notoriety.
You should make a video series where you try to get obese King Fowley into shape!!!
J-Dawg for a picture and a fist bump with Slayer (half of slayer) on the last tour it was $300 dollars for meet and greet tickets. Black Sabbath (minus bill ward) on the final tour was charging $1,000 for meet and greets.
I'm glad I'm not a fan in that case.

I did a meet n greet with Don of the Dead. I walked up to the merch table, bought some stuff, and told Don I hated God Dethroned too. It only cost me the price of my merch to meet him. 😂😂😂

Slayers hell awaits was inspired by this Bible verse “
Revelation 20:14-15: "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire”
Not surprised since Tom Araya reads the Bible and gets his inspiration from reading it
Plus he is catholic being South American he probably grew up with super religious parents
@@icankillbugs I’ve read both the satanic Bible and the holy Bible. I got it pretty good memorized
5:57 Yes. This totally happens. I drove for Ovid's Withering and Lorelei in 2013 and on 2 different dates the promoter's shorted the band. I drove for Ingested in 2015 and they had an experienced tour manager, he didn't let that fly lol. He was smart enough to collect in advance. Someone tried messing with him before the show and he was legit ready to cancel the whole thing. I still remember the "promoter" scrambling to get the money to pay the bands beforehand. He's for sure screwed some people over before
Ovid's Withering, Lorelei, Ingested, who cares! Remember that time you drove for _CRUCIFIED_ _MORTALS!_ Musta been fvckin' awesome! \m/

Tbf Aborted is a borderline deathcore band now. Same with Benighted.
I've seen The Purity Of Perversion be referred to as the first Deathcore album before. Not sure how accurate that is, but seen them called that for quite a while!
So many bands are going core now. It's disgusting.
Aborted's first three albums were so good man
Aborted was always mid from day 1, but I did buy Goremageddon when it first released. Mostly because of the cover ( I was about 13-14)

OMG the Aborted/Christ Denied split! I totally forgot about that. Gonna go find that one and give it a spin tomorrow. I feel the same way. I kinda dropped off the Aborted hype train after Goremageddon. I'll check out a song or two whenever they put out a new one. But they kinda changed their sound and became a tech death band. These posers you call out are playing metal because they need validation from other men. They've done a study on it. Makes sense to me.
Also meant to add they are absolutely the very definition of Poser
I only need validation from the Dawg. 😎
"they" have done "a study" on "it".

I think it’s funny to see the division between deathcore and traditional death metal. I remember when I first heard misanthropic Carnage by severe torture it became my favorite dm album at that time but I was also getting into bands like darkest hour, black dahlia, carnifax, the redchord, great deceiver, lorna shore, thy art is m, bleeding through etc… My honest opinion on this is deathcore is still brutal and has heavy riffs and some even got solos but the reason most traditional dm fans can’t stand it. Is because it’s a newer genre and that parallels into being scene poser garbage. But it’s not really not because a lot of the kids who play deathcore really do love extreme music 🎶 they aren’t posers they are just not the traditional metal types but it don’t mean that they are inferior or posers because their passion for extreme music is there
@@icankillbugs Well to me they are just misfits and I can relate to that and you’re just assuming because half if not most of these deathcore bands do like old school dm. That’s where Deathcore came from death metal and hardcore
