  • In this video I show you how to smoke chicken on the Offset Smoker! These smoked whole chickens are going to be CRISPY and JUICY! Moreover, the BBQ whole chickens are super easy and relatively fast to cook as well!
    For this recipe I fired up my offset smoker and I run it somewhere between 150 - 160 °C (302 - 320 F ). For this cook I used oak as fuel source. I got the chickens straight from our local super market, I would say each one of them weighted 1.2 Kg (2.6lb). In the end the total cooking time was 1 1/2 h.

      Thanks for the sub 👍. "Chuy" I have not heard that nickname since I left my home country Venezuela haha 😂. I am currently living in Finland, so yes, it is very cold! With time one learns to deal with it though. I'll be checking your next videos! You have one of the best video productions I've seen so far in BBQ videos 🔥! Stay safe Sal!

    Hi!
    Just got an mustang Georgia smoker.
    Havent used it yet.
    Should i seasining it some how or just do What the manuel says, let it burn for two hours?

    • @PitmasterOntheWay
      @PitmasterOntheWay  3 роки тому +1

      Hello! Ohh good choice! I hope you like the smoker. I let it burn for 2 hours (as the instructions say). There will come an odd smell and some smoke (mostly because of the burning residues), so don't cook anything at this point. After the 2 hours, it should be running without problems 👍. I have a video on how I usually run the smoker (in case you want some tips). Take care.
