piracy wins again. I won't need to do this account shit to play it :D
@@FargonNemeloc Well that was the excuse for Helldivers. How do you even ban someone for being toxic in a single player game lol?

You're factually correct!
Sony Ex-CEO statement from 2019: "The reasoning behind bringing high-profile PlayStation exclusives to PC came from an attempt to “get more people into our PlayStation world”". “The strategy, as we were developing it when I was there, was that we need to go out to where these new customers are, these new fans could be. We need to go to where they are because they’ve decided not to come to my house. So I’ve got to go to their house now, and what’s the best way to go to their house?”

All I'm hearing is that after retiring my black flag for over 15 years, Sony is making me see if I've still got my sea legs...
I couldn't even give them money for this game if I wanted to. And I had FULLY intended to buy both Norse GoW games once Ragnarok hit PC.
Pirating games is a not a moral response.
You don't need to play the game.
You just want to, and now you've found a weak excuse to steal it instead of paying for it.
@@BigChungus-zg6zw fuck sony, if I want to play their game, I'll pirate it. Idgaf
@@BigChungus-zg6zw People literally CAN'T pay for it...
@BigChungus-zg6zw 1. I never claimed to be moral.
2. I know I don't need to, I've paid for every game I've played (and some I haven't played) for the past 15+ years. I don't need a "weak excuse". Better yet, I don't need an excuse at all. I'll just do it and move on with my life.
Better yet, I've already paid for Ghost of Tsushima on ps5, and would've happily paid again on PC (which is exactly what Sony wants), but if they can't get their heads out of their asses, I'll be happy to follow that example and do what is "morally incorrect" and sleeping like a baby while doing it.
Edit:
These companies do whatever they think they can get away with, and you expect me to not do the same? Take the high ground?
Nah, as long as I can get away with it, I'll do what I think I can get away with, which is sending a message by not giving them money AND play the game.
Just like they want to have you pay full price AND microtransactions AND a subscription.
If they can't respect me as a customer, why would I respect them as the seller?
Anyone remember "Games for Windows Live", well here's the sequel
Yup. I have a couple of old games, on disk, that are unplayable because of that. They won't even install or update correctly if I install them from disk because of the windows live requirement. But I have steam copies that work just fine since it was removed. Funny that.
Even steam copies are not Safe. Fable 3 steam version is forever fuck if you don't have the skill and the adresses to find and instal script that fix GFWL absence and problems
somehow i always see people complaining about windows live, i've never had a single issue with it. I'm a very lucky guy i suppose
Weird, I still need a Microsoft account to play Xbox games on PC.
"We're still learning what's best for PC players" They're obviously full of shit.
"we're still learning the best way to screw you without you going full betard over it"

GoW Ragnarok is w@ke, so no; pass.
Everyone who didn't see it coming the moment they said that sentence is just plain naïve.
Its morally CORRECT to pirate Sony games.
I just did with Ghost of Tsushima since I can't buy it
Not only morally correct but obligatory
In fact, its our human right!

I told you guys, when shit went down with helldivers and suddenly sony sneakingly without any notice or so they thought, they changed their website faq, ps games on pc, from "it is optional" to "some titles may require it", [i got timed out in their discord for pointing that out], and so i told you... every new title will require it.
Some friends laughed at me, others went vocal.
But heres the issue, helldivers2 was a big win for helldivers community and a big loss for gaming community. Why, because sony used the whole fiasco to make a sneaky change on their policy from "optional" to "it may" now old ceo of ags doesn't say anything, the new ceo of ags claimed on reddit that sony is amazing partner and without them there wouldn've been helldivers2, and yet the changed policy, faq and regionlock remains.
It is obvious for whom ever worked in corporate what signals this may be giving you. Every next title will require it, all the future titles will have it and hd2 might adopt it in the future because they will promptly point out that hd2 will be the only title that is not require it, but if we are lucky they will just leave hd2 as it is.
Sony haven't walked anything back, they double and tripple and quadrupple down on their new policies and march forward. XD
What the hell is going through Sony's head, what the fk are they thinking ?!
This is why removing the negative reviews quickly was a mistake.
Never did... That shit will be permanent... I even put a negative review on all Sony games I own and won't buy shit from them going forward.
If only the rest of the community had common sense like you!

If bloodborne come on pc and have this stupid PSN account requirement I will never buy something related to Sony again
Unfortunately, every single-player release requires a PSN account. I'm sad because Until Dawn, a cinematic game, also requires a PSN account, and I'm unable to buy it in my country. I hope something will change in the future. I want to believe that Bloodborne, The Last of Us 2, and Uncharted 1-3 will be released on PC without requiring PSN.

Precisely why I continuously find myself playing games that are 5-10 years old or older.
I realy don't understand why they would force it, or bann playstation network from so many places. Do they hate money?
this is what you get when you just read the headline and think you've won.
you didn't win with helldivers, you never did.
Sony: What's that? You want to buy a TV? A hi-fi? You'll need a PSN account for that.
That guy can't be real. There is no way that someone is advocating for denuvo. I refuse to believe that this is a real person.
Unless every other big company stop doing it, I don’t see Sony stopping anytime soon.
if buying ain't owning piracy ain't stealing...i've no remorse.
We're not talking about life saving medicine here.
If you don't like the terms don't play the game.
@@BigChungus-zg6zw how much are they paying you, shill?
@@BigChungus-zg6zw Why? Playing is better then not playing.
@@BigChungus-zg6zw
We want the game itself, not the shitty consequences of playing it.
The opposite of buying a game is not stealing it lol, it's not buying it. Dumb pirate logic. Most people in the comments would have pirated the game regardless of the PSN requirements, you're just looking for an excuse now
It’s time to join jack sparrow 🏴☠️
I guess this means that if Bloodborn ever comes out to PC, it will requires PSN account.
F*ck me, that's the only Sony exclusive I give a damn about and it would not be available in my region.
I thought they reversed the PSN account requirement for Helldivers 2, but it's still there. I'm confused.
It was, for now. The game is still blocked in non-PSN available countries, meaning they’re working on finding a way to force it down the line.
1:10 A little bit of context:
This is a parody account.
The picture and name represents a Polish Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, whom is by many in Poland regarded to as a traitor, and a Germany's lapdog.
The name reads "Donald TüSSk", signifying his german ties with "u umlaut" - ü , and SS - a reference to Waffen SS.
So, he wrote this post with this account presumably as a joke, that this is something only a traitor like Donald Tusk would have written.
Those wankers are just testing the waters really hard to eventually try and charge for the account the same way they charge on the console, remember this.
And also happening on the Until Dawn port thats releasing soon on Steam!
They're pushing it for PlayStation plus subscriptions.
Yeah, I'll sail the high seas to fish it
Sony hate money, why dont they stop doing this until they have fixed PSN world wide?
If you want a real answer, it's because they love money. They want you to make a PSN account because they want to be able to gather more data about you and sell it for more money than you would have spent buying the game. As for the PSN account being blocked in those countries, that's not something they need to fix, they CHOSE to not allow those countries to have a PSN account. It's not actually those countries blocking PSN, it's PSN blocking those countries, purposefully.
@@Hirome_Satou really now? they chose not to allow those countries access to PSN but they allow the same people in those countries to officially buy their console and games? I call BS.
my country is included in those countries and I can literally go to their official site and they will tell me the nearest shop which where I can buy a PS5 lmao
why would they sell their console here but deny us access to PSN? we have to break TOS and create a PSN set to a different country to use the console but in this case we can't even buy the game on PC.
@@RiriSeven5625 I don't really care what you want to call BS on, I'm just telling you how it is.
@@Hirome_Satou I'm not asking for you to care. I'm just telling you what's happening and it seems like you don't have an answer as to why they purposely block those countries access to PSN but not deny direct access to their console and games
@@RiriSeven5625 Why do you think that I would know why they do what they are doing. I don't work there.
I still have the gowr code for the game when i got the ps5 lol
So this is only available in 18 countries? 195-177.
WTF that steam account is current polish prime minister !?
Worst part is I don’t doubt they’ll get away with it this time
The previous attack was simply a vanguard. Now the full force of Snoy is about to come back for revenge and it’s not just Liberty at stake this time. The Helldivers must unite with all others whether they be godslayers, dishonourable samurai, or the like. Your favourite game could be next. Unless you have the strength and the courage to be free from the shackles of Snoy. We have gone soft since the first Snoy war, complaining about weapon nerfs or unfair missions while the Snoy forces lurk in the shadows taking down every game we enjoy. It’s time to rally the Sony Eliminators And Frends.
Piletstedt talking to Sony about getting the bans removed and then all of sudden, new CEO! I'd be curious to know whether it was fully Pilestedt decision or part of the reason was because Sony got tired of the noise.
Sony: "I didn't hear no bell!"
Customers: *”We ain’t paying you a cent for your trashy service nor your games. Deal with it. Enjoy the RED stock portfolio quarterlies.”*
It's about data collection and sales of private data, much like Facebook. They need you to have a psn account so they can collect and sell your data. The game is just the vehicle to the destination. This why everything has a sign up and account now, EVERYTHING.
You should make a skydrow add every time you post a sony game vid.
I can be indifferent longer than they can remain solvent. Too bad gamers never grew up to the idea of voting with their wallet and the fact that they only get what they're willing to tolerate.
