Ms. Lynn's daughter posted that she was ready to go. She passed away the next morning. Please continue to keep the family, friends and her ranch family in your thoughts and prayers as they move thru these changes!
Her daughter co-produced this album with Johnny Cash's son.
My mom said something similar. She said she was ready to go and told us to "pull the plug". We were like "Mom, you are not plugged in to anything so there is nothing to pull" 😂 She peacefully passed away a couple of days later while I was holding her hand. It was, as the Victorians used to call it, a "good death". She lived a good and long life and peacefully passed with family. It sounds like Loretta Lynn had a similar death. She was at peace in her mind and spirit and just let go.
@@hectorsmommy1717
Awwhhh. 💕sounds like something I'd say. so sweet.
awwhh💕
Our greatest comfort lies in this one thing,
knowing that while she was still here and the blood still flowed through her veins,
that there came a day in her life when she fell on her knees and cried out to God, "Lord would you save a poor sinner like me?
and save her He did. We believe this is true because...
we could see Christ in her life - His light shining through.
She has gone home now to be with the Lord,
She has laid down her cross to claim her reward
and for a period of time we all will grieve,
but we can smile through our tears, because here's what we believe...
Someday soon, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,
we will hear God's call and the dead in Christ shall rise,
and we the redeemed will be gathered together in the presence of our Lord,
where we will know only joy, peace and happiness. And separation will come no more.
So we will hold on to this promise and never let it go.
It will carry us through this valley of grief. It will lift us up when we are feeling low.
When those memories come around as they will down through the years...
we will remember God's promise and we will smile through our tears.
@@hectorsmommy1717 I have been having a hard time with this one. I grew up listening to her music. She is my favorite and just one of a kind. Her family will continue to run the ranch and make sure her legacy continues!
This is making me cry cause Loretta Lynn is now she is gone she will be miss by millions of country fans RIP Loretta Lynn you are now in heaven with you husband and our lord will be looking after you
If y’all haven’t watch the movie, Coal Miner’s daughter, with the Academy Award winner, Sissy Spacek, playing Loretta, you should do so on your movie channel.
I haven’t heard this song. It’s so touching and beautiful. Made me cry. Thank you so much for choosing it.
They have not done a music biopic film yet. I think "Coal Miner's Daughter" is to music biopics what "Rocky" is to sports films. It would be a perfect film to start that journey.
Loretta Lynn- The Pill and Red, White, and Blue.
RIP LORETTA LYNN!!!! She WAS country.
My mother's best friend always said, "The last breath you take on Earth is the first one you take in heaven." It gave my mother much comfort since even as a religious person, she had fear about death. I kept telling my mother her friend's words as I held her hand as she was making her transition. I like to think it gave her peace. I know it was a powerful experience for me. RIP Loretta Lynn.
OMG Kelly! That quote got me crying my eyes out! I had to dry my eyes 3 times writing this! TY SO MUCH!!!!! 😭💝💖💖💖
@@diannen4225 You're very welcome. As I was talking her through her transition, I kept reassuring her that I was going to be fine, that she was going to see my Dad, her parents, her brothers, etc. I mentioned all the important friends and family by name. She had a mechanical heart valve so I could hear it slowing down so that's when I really kept reminding her about that first breath in Heaven. It was one of the most difficult experiences of my life, but also the most amazing.
Sorry for your loss, that statement made me feel comfort, 🙏🏼 Bless you
@@jeanstrickland2445 Thank you, Jean. Bless you too. I'm glad that you found comfort in my comments.
i believe that with all my heart. i also believe that if you are walking with the Lord you are already IN your eternal life. it gets better dont worry. 😘
Rip Loretta Lynn. Ty. You are up in Heaven with God and your family again.
Rip To A Beautiful Gorgeous Woman Loretta Lynn,We Will Miss You
2 legends right there!! Thank you for honoring her today. Loretta was the most awarded female country artist. The first female to win Entertainer of the Year. She had 14 songs banned from radio because she wrote and sang about real life. She was ahead of her time.
I watched Coal Miner's Daughter today. It's still a great movie. It's preserved in the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress for being considered culturally & historically significant. The movie starts off on 1935 when Loretta is 13. Sissy Spacek who plays Loretta and Beverly D'Angelo who plays Patsy Cline do all of their own singing. This us a great movie!
It really is. I need to watch the movie again; it's been too many years since the last time I watched it.
I watched it too, but 'ol Doo was already back from D-Day +4.
WW2 1941-1946.
She was born in 1932 and was 13 when she and Doo started seeing each other...1945.
Y'all do take note of Sissy & Beverly actors do their own singing and they are great in it
@@user-ii4zf5iq3t thanks for the correction. That was a typo.
@@jayce711
Woke me up and made my head swim. Where am I. lol. I never do that.....much.
😁
@@user-ii4zf5iq3t lol! Small buttons, fat fingers!
I can imagine what Mrs Patsy Cline said when Loretta arrived in heaven. "Hey hoss so happy you kept our music alive for 70+ years now lets sing a song together for the angels."
Such a great duet. RIP Loretta. Willie will be 90 in April.
💔💔💔💔
I'M PROUD TO BE A COALMINER'S DAUGHTER AND PROUD TO BE FROM THE GREAT STATE OF KENTUCKY JUST LIKE MS. LORETTA LINN 😥

So sorry for the infringe on your privacy,Rip to late Loretta Lynn's,I really love her music,so sour.girl how are you doing?

From Butcher Holler to our hearts RIP Sweet Loretta
Beautiful lady. Gone to her place in heaven.
For your movie channel you should watch Coal Miners Daughter. It’s Loretta’s story

Fist City is my favorite! It's the original #FAFO song imo! RIP QUEEN 👑
Have not heard this song but I will listen to it again and again. I'm a big fan of both and this song is beautiful.
Rest easy Ms Loretta Lynn.
LORETTA LYNN - FIST CITY is a must hear!!
If you listen to this song and don’t get teary, you don’t have a heart.
She was definitely an icon and legend, she'll never be forgotten,We love you Ms.LORETTA LYNN R.I.P. 🙏😇😘
Kid Rock's good bye to Loretta was a tear jerker.
I saw someone commenting on Facebook that she and best friend Patsy Cline are singing together.
Both Loretta’s and Willies voices are filled with a lived life’s experience in every note. It’s something you hear on a human level and it speaks directly to your soul. We have been blessed to live in the same time as these giant talents. Thank you Loretta enjoy your rest. ✌️
Loretta Lynn’s granddaughter and Willie Nelson’s grandson sang this after Loretta died. It was Beautiful too! Also, got to take my Mom to see Loretta Lynn in concert for my Mom’s 80th birthday and Loretta wore the white dress like in this video! My mom thought Loretta was so beautiful! My Mom lived to be 95! She passed August of 2022.
RIP LORETTA LYNN. I WISH you had ALSO reacted to a JOHN LENNON song as TODAY WOULD have been his 82nd BIRTHDAY. RIP JOHN LENNON.
So sorry for the infringe on your privacy,Rip to late Loretta Lynn's,I really love her music,so Patti how are you doing?
RIP, Loretta Lynn.
Rest In Peace Loretta Lynn. Need to check out biopic Coal Miner’s Daughter
Agreed!
As a 60s child I look at the world now and I don’t recognize it. As a 70s teenager I listen to the music of today and I long for the heart of our songs. Go in peace Loretta ❤
I’m right there with ya!
As a 50's child I am shocked each day
to see the world.😥😥👍✌️🇨🇦
@@marybaillie8907 one thing I don't understand is....with so much violence...Why write about it this instant unless you're making a good point. ( and even then, if your point is actually a good one, it's likely not going to need the details of who you slept with or are thinking about shooting )
@@SymphonicEllen WTF are you babbling about?
@@jamesp246 I was just agreeing with Dawna. They don't write like they used to. They write about gang banging and stuff.
Beautiful song. Love this duo! Two greatest of all time. Thank you for this reaction! 💙✌
Beautiful! their voices are so gentle and warm and knowing!
Beautiful song choice, Loretta truly was the Queen of Country music, and a very good person as well to top it all off. Willie is really getting up there too, he'll be joining that greatest band of all one day too.
you have no idea how good you guys are the way you covered this song....congratulations you should be proud
Thanks for that beautiful song RIP Loretta.
Ms. Loretta Lynn, R.I.P Sweet Angel.
Fist City...Loretta Lynn this is up there with you ain't woman enough. The Pill is a good one! Also Rated X is a great one! Loretta was known for pushing the envelope & paving the way for many women in Country music!! R.I.P Loretta Lynn I'm glad you're at peace now!! 😇🙏🧚♀️💜
I just love Willie's unique voice too
She holds a special place in my heart.
So sorry for the infringe on your privacy,Rip to late Loretta Lynn's,I really love her music,so Jill how are you doing?
@@kelvinscott9212 I'm surviving.
Where are you from ?
Am originally from sydeney Australlia but am currenlly living in plano,Texas
@@kelvinscott9212 Texas is a horrible place. I'd never step foot in that horrid state. Anyone who would choose to live there is not worth their salt.
For Amber & her Father, like mine…
God saw he was getting tired
And a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around him and whispered “come with me.”
With tearful eyes we watched him suffer and fade away. Although we loved him dearly we could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us… He only takes the best. 💔
@Jeff Bourchier, that was absolutely beautiful & so appropriate!!!! I'd love to know where you found that, who it's by, etc.
IT'S A PART OF LIFE, IT'S A STAGE! 🙃 SHE WAS 90, TRUST ME SHE'S IN COUNTRY HEAVEN NOW 😊 SHE WOUND UP GOING AWAY PEACEFULLY IN HER SLEEP! REST EASY LORETTA!
Oh my gosh,, I've not heard this one before - both legends and both so very loved. I know Loretta was ready, but we weren't. RIP Loretta.
Beautiful! RIP Loretta
I am a 57 year old women that has lost my Daughter at 29, both my parents and five siblings. But I am blessed by of husband of 41 years on the sixteenth of this month. I have a beautiful son that makes me so proud. My Son in Law and his fiance are like our children. I have these beautiful Grandbabies. I have been blessed so much. This song is beautiful. As much as I have lost I still have so much.
So true. Thank you for sharing this encouraging perspective.❤
Queen Loretta ❤️
RIP to a sweet sweet lady.
Lorretta's song were based on real events in her life. Her husband was the center of many of them!
A National Treasure!! She was a trailblazer and a lady. This song is so haunting….😭😭😭
A couple days ago, I watched a documentary on her life on "American Masters" on PBS and it was amazing. She said that if she got mad at her husband for his misdeeds, instead of just running out of the marriage, she used it to write a song about it, so most of her songs are autobiographical. She shocked the world when she recorded the song "The Pill" (not sure if you reacted to this one). It was banned on a lot of Country Music stations in the south but then were forced to play it once it became a huge hit for her. I was shocked to learn that she had a friendship with Jack White of the White Stripes and he actually produced one of her albums.
Fist City is another of her songs that showcases a strong southern woman telling you how it is with a smile on her face.
This song made me feel better she telling us thier is peace for her when they her down. We know she was saying goodbye in this song Perfect. LOVE YOU ❣️
Thank you for sharing this. I have never heard this song. I grew up on Loretta’s music and this was a very fitting tribute. Crying but also knowing she is at peace.
I cried when finding out the great Loretta Lynn died. Prayers for her family and friends 🙏🙏🙏
I got teary eyed watching this beautiful song ❤️RIP QUEEN OF COUNTRY
You two will love the movie "Coalminer"s Daughter" it's about Loretta.
Guys I have a very good song for Female Friday. It’s by K.D. Lang, Kitty Wells and Loretta Lynn. It’s called “Blues, Stay Away From Me”. An excellent song!!
Is much respect for Lauretta Lynn
Sadly I knew her name more them her music, but the more I learn her music, the more I love her name.
One of gods angels was called home.an absolute legend who touched so many lives.she was everything to everyone who knew her.the void left by her passing can never be filled, but the legacy she leaves behind can never be forgotten.
Kathie says…This is the first time that I have ever heard this song. It is very sad, but is beautiful and I love it. It just can’t go wrong with Loretta and Willie singing it. Rest is Peace Sweet Loretta 🙏🏻
In 1977, I was a hard rock fan. My girlfriend was a huge country music fan. As a surprise for her, I got us tickets to see Loretta Lynn, with Mickey Gilley opening, at the Capital Centre in Landover, Maryland.
It’s still one for the best concerts I’ve ever seen. Perfectly paced, Loretta played the crowd as brilliantly as her guitar. I finally understood why country music is so popular.
RIP Ms Loretta
Legends both of them.
I am not particularly religious but my first thought when I heard the news was how happy she would be to see her Daddy and Mama, and Doo and Patsy again. Rest in Peace Loretta.
I believe they were both in their 80s when they recorded this. Two of the greatest!
So sad Loretta passed and beautiful to hear her and Willie together.
What a beautiful song sung by two of the greatest country artists. RIP Ms Loretta.
So sorry for the infringe on your privacy,Rip to late Loretta Lynn's,I really love her music,so Theresa how are you doing?
I was 50 years old when my Mama went to Heaven. No matter how old your are, it's always too soon to lose someone you love so much. This was beautiful & y'all are so loving, kind & good. Thank you for being you. 🥰
Oh this one hit hard. So emotional for ourselves and the ones we love.
We love you galfriend...rip.
Now here’s a movie that you should see Coal Miner’s Daughter with Sissy Spacek. She plays Loretta Lynn and it’s a great movie. 💜🇨🇦
And she won the Academy Award for playing Loretta.
RIP Loretta
I'm sitting here watching this and crying because I never heard this before. I remember watching Coal Miners Daughter when it first came out in 1980. I was 5 and all I wanted for years was to be Loretta. I knew every word to every song in the movie in kindergarten and can still sing with the soundtrack today.
Don't Come Home A Drinkin'
Fist City
The Pill (banned on radio)
One's on the Way
And Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man with Conway Twitty are absolute musts.
And that's not covering her gospel albums
Now that what country music sounds like!!!! R.i.p. Loretta.
Man were gonna miss you sweetheart.❤⚘😭
I shed the same tears Amber. Loretta was a cousin by marriage. Her music will live on. A daughter of Butcher Holler. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I was watching some old reactions and came across Eddie Rabbit....you have to go back to him doing "Driving my life away" you'll love it....
R.I.P. Loretta
A surprising number of the all-time top country artists have Native American ancestry:
Hank Williams, Kitty Wells, Loretta Lynn, Crystal Gale, Willie Nelson, Marty Stuart, Carrie Underwood, as well as Elvis Presley.
I want this played at my funeral.
I just saw Willie in concert a few weeks ago. We need to catch these legends while they’re still with us.
Yeah!
She’s such an icon- and her life story is just fascinating! You should react to the movie “Coal Miner’s Daughter”! Sissy Spacek won an Oscar for her role as Loretta, and it’s eerie how much she sounded like her! Like Forest Gump, you just fall in love and become enchanted with the story that spans a generation!
My grandmother introduced me to Loretta when I was a child. Never heard this song before. Thank you. I cried thinking of my grandmother and Loretta. The movie about her life Coalminer's Daughter is one of the best movies ever.
This is from Loretta's album "Full Circle" (2016) which was produced by her daughter Patsy and John Carter Cash.
I highly recommend the movie "Coal Miner's Daughter" starring Sissy Spacek.
Oooh, Miss. Loretta. I grew up with my Mom playing Miss. Loretta, Miss. Tammy, Miss. Patsy, Miss. Dolly, and Miss. Kitty. Such icons. My mother was also a feminist before feminism was "cool" and was always singing "The Pill" - one of Miss. Loretta's song that was banned on many stations. I mean, "OMG! A woman taking control of her body??? How dare she!!!" But it was the country equivalent of "I Am Woman" by Helen Reddy, I think. Bless them all. Rest in Peace, Miss. Loretta.
Beautiful and emotional choice. I happen to love the song "Family Tree" from her album with Jack white, and "Don't Come Home Drinkin' with Lovin' on Your Mind" is classic.
She’s with her friend Patsy Cline now and together they can sing with the Angels now❤
Purely beautiful.
just Iconic! i am crying like crazy!!!
There is a You Tube video of Loretta's words to her fans recorded before she passed. It is very much worth a reactions. Gives me tears each time I hear it. I have beautiful memories of times spent with Loretta. She was so kind and had a beautiful Lady.
I have been fortunate to see Willie from backstage twice and love Loretta. I never knew of this song. Thanks y’all!
Great harmonizing
Willie Nelson, pretty paper, pretty ribbon. Awesome!
That’s real country.
Beautiful song. Thank you guys I never heard this song from these to Legends. RIP miss Loretta Lynn. My pops and mom absolutely loved you and your music
you should react to Loretta Lynns song one on the way. The one with the muppets is adorable.
i hope people have been suggesting Honky Tonk Angels trio...Her, Dolly and Tammy. Silver threads and golden needles, on eagles wings, etc. they did a whole album thats heaven sent. this is a brillient piece too.
These 2 were a major part of my childhood. This is what I was raised on. My parents always listened to country. My parents have been gone for quite a while, but this always brings them back to me. RIP Miss Loretta
Thank you for being so positive with your thoughts.Loretta's legend will live on. This was a song people really needed to hear. Thanks again.
