For all those asking it's the tree sentinel armor combined with three pieces of death knight.
I know it's still pretty early on with the dlc stuff, but do you know yet what the new pvp meta level is? I'm still at 150 and staying there till I know for sure.
*Heal From Afar* is practically better than *Lord's Heal* in every way (At the moment); the base healing amount is the same, has less Faith required to use, costs less FP, has a quicker cast time, and you can free aim it at your feet to do the exact same thing
I was using it for a bit but all the hosts kept running away when I would shoot it so finally I stopped 😂
Have you tried using it at Royal Revenants? I have not tested it myself, I wonder if this could be a better substitute for firing it from afar

I think it's time to bring back the DS2 lore backstory builds CB. You're the reason each of my characters since DS2 have whole backstories that intertwine with the games lore haha
Man i had so much fun with those but no one watched them. I feel like the YT meta these days is pumping out a video showing off the most OP setup and calling it a day. Feelsbadman.

600+ hours into ER and I’ve never played a faith build. Here I am enjoying this build immensely! The block counter on this hammer is amazing. I don’t have all the same spells yet, nor Sword of Light, as I’m just starting Shadow of the Erdtree, but I just took down the dancing lion on my first try. And it’s so damn satisfying just mowing down random enemies while out exploring.

As a death knight and paladin main in literally every game I play, this gets my seal of approval. Well done.
I’ve been running a similar set up and I love when you guard counter which causes the enemy to be stunned and you follow up straight into a prayerful strike 😊
The co-op footage is absolutely hilarious, I could watch the slapstick comedy of hosts dying after you're summoned for hours

Hey Cowbow ...Thanks for the video ...Great video ...Just a question how are you choosing only the swords and the shields in the equipment that you want to use ? Like mines have all sorts of swords and shields and stuffs in the equipment area 😢 pls I wanna know ...did u sort the items into chest ?
Pull out what you want from least to most frequently used and then sort by acquisition

Cowboy will you post a RL 200 mage build as well for co-op and casual pvp ?
That's the build I was running but with redmane shield, I killed the last boss last night. Took a few tries learning the attacks to deflect. Also I notice on some of his attacks the closer you're to him he doesn't make you roll backwards after blocking.
Fantastic build. Just looks fun to play.

That muliti ring spell into the blinkbolt is brutal
31:37 Worse still, if the main weapon is buffed, the *Discus Shield* will utilize said buff at the same time; this includes nonsense like *Royal Knight's Resolve,* resulting in cheap throws ripping off a quarter of your health (Give or take)
Anyone know if a talisman enhances the guard counter other than curved sword? I’m wondering if the burst of power after the counter can be boosted with Godfrey icon for example.. or maybe just normal holy buffs like G Vow.

Heal From Afar is a power-crept Lord's Heal. Might as well take that so you can heal the host from far away. Comes in clutch on some bosses.
Mann I remember that Santier spear build from DS2.. glad you’re back making cool builds Cowboy. Any stat recommendations for a lvl 150 version of this build?
This would be pretty hard to pull off at 150 without making a major sacrifice. We need 36 Str for greatshield reqs and the higher End to support our weight. You'd have to lower End/Mind/Faith probably and be a 60 faith build to run the setup properly at 150.
What's the actual armor set?
Does anyone have an idea how to make it workable at 125? the shield with 36 strength requirement is insane.
I've always liked the idea of a paladin doing PvP/PvE with a shield, but the requests are absurd sometimes.
150 could also be done, (I would break my promise not to exceed 125🤣🤣🤣), but I'm afraid of finding too strong opponents.

I am very surprised that you didn’t have Discus of Light in the spell list. I didn’t even see it in your spells you could pick from in the inventory!
It’s INCREDIBLY FP efficient, and does great damage, with a very long range… it’s basically the Glintstone Pebble of faith builds.
I strongly suggest people to pick this up as a bread and butter ranged option, similar to how Catch Flame is for melee range in pure faith caster builds (or Carian Slicer for sorcerers).
Knight’s Lightning Spear is undoubtedly more powerful, but it’s quite FP inefficient.
I have plans for a separate build using fundamentalist spells. I agree it's really good, I just didn't have 6 points to sac for Int to fit it in here. If I'm leveling Int and Faith I'd want to go higher anyway and add in stuff like Radagon's Rings which is pretty busted for a quick AoE.
This is a faith build not a fundamentalist build.

i used land of shadow for the messmer fight, it has excellent tracking and messes with the ai of enemies that dodge projectiles, it's got its use cases :)

Doing something similar, but with some arcane and using Siluria's Tree. The ash of war is a freakin nuke and i dont even have Alexanders shard yet
I gotta start a new character, im setting at level 270 and scudutree lvl 20. I can no longer kill rahdan with it being fun (yes that means i can toe to toe with him i dont use the poke method) i beat the DLC 3 times got everything and now i just wanna be powerful enough to know exactly what i wanna build and that Axe and the flower mace from the dragon chick
What ashes of war on these?
The only thing id add to this build is another seal pm right hand, eother the golden order or dryleaf but thats preferance

Bro I am on NG, I don't think I will reach 200 , so which state should i lower to improvise, I m playing pure faith right now & really wanted switch towards fth/str for dlc.
Out of any weapons that require somber ancient dragon. What would you directly recommend for an account that hasn't ng+ and is limited on choices due to build swapping.
Prob the inquisitor spear. Good holy damage, solid ash, good faith scaling, bleed.

Yep. There's no way to farm it. Try r/patchesemporium and ask for someone to trade it. That's how I had to get it.

For some reason, I'm only getting 999 attack after the buff from the sword of light.I followed your build exactly as you did it.Just wondering if that's what it is now..
So I figured it out..Traveling to the base game cuts your attack in half.Did not know that

Pretty much my favorite build though that hammer does not look right, we need a white version. Euporia looks great on Paladins with this shield and Leda's armor glows up the fashion considerably.

Yeah, it's not farmable. Head to r/patchesemporium and find someone to trade it to you. That was the only way I was able to get it.

That weapon never dropped for me, and that was on 2 characters. Gonna try another one but can’t get past Mohg lol
If you're talking about the Black Steel Greathammer, I had the same issue. Tried farming it from different Knights for about 4 hours. Ended up visiting r/patchesemporium and found someone to trade it to me.
Did they buff holy damage or is it still the same ??
It’s the same, but few enemies in the DLC resist holy any more than they do other elements, whereas in base game, 60% holy resist was not uncommon (and was BY FAR the most commonly and highest resisted), and went all the way to 80%…

Why go up to RL 200 I remember RL 150 being a meta level so characters can meet mutiple stat caps?
Because it allows me to make fun stuff like this.

It does give you a lot more build variety, and I think some RL increase post-DLC release is plenty reasonable. I expect the sweatiest-of-sweatlord PvPers will stay at RL150 but whatever, thats their jam

That’s not the only thing wrong with that shield lol if you use a weapon buff while the shields in your left hand it copies the buff royal knights resolve it’s OP

Great katana with Savage Lion's Claw absolutely craters everything and the length of thr blade is so crazy you often smack mobs all around you on thr second spin. Awesome ash on that big boy.
