I went into my NG+2 run and just decided to play for fun instead of using the best stuff and was running around in clothes rather than armor a simple kite shield and milady, keeping a light roll going for the first time ever, and after a few bosses, and learning how to alternate between R1/R2 mid combo, I fell in love.

You should try the dancer build with the dancer curved swords at A dex scaling along side the dancer armor set. It deletes almost any boss in less than a minute. Even without bleed it shreds. Def more of a glass cannon build though.
Imagine if there’s a secret light greatsword that used to belong to melina and when you find it you find a gesture unlocking a room or something with lore or an ending to her story

I used them for a little bit and they were pretty decent. I wanna say they have the same moveset as regular power stance katanas. There might be a little difference but I don’t quite remember

Is pure scorcery still viable in the DLC. Going into it my snow witch build was a beast but in the DLC it was hardly damaging anything, even comet azure was useless

As much as the Greatsword of Damnation sucks for it's grab it's nothing compared to spamming those claws, the instant stun on the attack because they aim for the head is stupid and the bleed is insane. Swift slash is still not in a good place, it's just as bad but at least now you can escape it and potentially counter with your own BS. So much is still busted and I see all these videos with people using it all and just think when the nerf hits people are going to complain so much. I really have just been sticking with greatswords and the great katana now for decent fun weapons. Fair weapons. If I can get someone to drop me a Sword of Darkness I'll go back to PSSS and rock Light and Dark.
All right, hear me out. Use all 3 of Radahn's swords, alternating between them. Pull them in with Starcaller Cry and then destroy them with a light nuke
Normal smithing stones and somber smithing stones have their bell bearing if you give bell bearing to twin maiden hunks they will start to sell the stones for example if you got somber bell bearing 1 and give it to twin maiden hunks they are gonna sell somber smithing stone 1 2 3 and same applys for normal smithing stones but you can not buy ancient dragon smithing stones or ancient dragon somber smithing stone you need to find these around the map but they are limited per run so use they carefully if you tan out of ancient dragon stones you will need to start ng+ in order to get theme again hop that helps

@@jeffbartley9730 go full on tank. Defense main priority with greatshield with high guard boost. The scholars shield spell with some stamina regeneration talisman as well and a poke weapon like spear or thrusting sword. Stamina tear and damage reduction tear and maybe like a holy negation item. But that’s the easiest way I’ve seen it done. Not my style but I’ll say made it much much easier. Heavy is okay your blocking not rolling and with new non physical shield boost talisman and the scholars shield spell that last 60 seconds and some other talismans you can pretty Much block just about everything and poke through. Just manage your stamina. Deflect tear can help to if you get timing down a little.
Meta only matters for coliseum. If you want to invade just pick a level wherever you feel comfortable and stay there. If you don’t care about pvp or co-op than your level doesn’t even matter just do whatever you want
I disagree. I think the light greatsword moveset is good. You can't have something move swiftly and have lots of stance damage. Yes. Wing Stance is the best AOW for them but one great AOW doesn't make the moveset mediocre.
It took me learning how to switch between R1/R2 mid combo to be able to vibe with it and now I'm actually doing better in Pvp than I've ever done before. Light Gs is probably now my favorite weapon type. Sucks there's only three to choose from but oh well. Maybe next game.
Great video, but your recommended weapons and setups are terrible. With all that dexterity, you are better off dual wielding two lightning infused straight swords - one with lightning slash, the other with endure for melee combat. For ranged combat, you have the amazing Ansbach Longbow with lightning and status arrows. Most enemies are weak to lightning damage in the DLC, and most of them are in wet areas. In PvP, everyone is weak to lightning damage. Bloodflame blade is a low-requirement incantation that is best used with weapons with innate bleed. For keen weapons with no innate bleed, use lightning grease. This is very deadly on the swift slash aow you were using. Lastly, level up your endurance to at least 35. Endurance lets you wear good armor and dish out more attacks. It is one of the most important stats in the game. I don’t know why players keep ignoring it. With dex weapons being so light, you can practically wear the best armors in the game.

You have to be a person of culture to use Light Greatsword. Similar to the Threaded Cane from Bloodborne
