Posture breaking into a repost to i-frame through the orbital laser... wow, just wow! I'm not sure I ever want to fight Consort Radahn again, but if I do, I'll have to try and remember that trick.
Careful with it. You have to make sure the last hit WILL posture break Radahn, and this high-reaching Giant Hunt (I think) only does 36 Posture damage. Radahn has 120 posture, and starts regenerating it in 6 seconds max, so you have to have built up a good amount beforehand, and have it carry through to phase 2. In other words, make sure you hit him 3 times before phase change with heavy attacks, within 6 seconds of landing each. I think it makes this even more impressive. This video was masterfully calculated.
Beat him with similar style earlier last week, but yr timing for the counter atk way better. Mine end up trading with him most of the time in phrase 1. And phrase 2 bk to rolling😅
What NG cycle are you on? I just beat him on NG+ and you were taking way more damage than me and I was naked in dragon form. Edit: Ok just read the description, I was using the dragoncrest greatshield talisman, golden braid and the pearldrake +3. So an extra 20% physical damage negation plus the 22% holy from the braid, and another 11% non-physical negation from the pearldrake would get you an extra 35%, in this case, holy damage negation.
@@ElderZard def helps but just deflecting every attack then countering will run you stamina dry quite fast. just means you need to incorporate some rolls and downtime between flurrys. also the stance damage being severly reduced means you wont be able to break them often if ever.
Can you content creators please put what NG+ you're on. I'm not saying you have to be on NG+7 in order to play the game, but when you showcase a build like this, with no indication on which NG+ it is, it can be very misleading in regards to how effective it can be.
That's all well and good, and again, I'm not saying you have to play on NG anything, but it would be greatly appreciated if you put which what save state you are in. I would definitely like to try this build on my NG+8 run!
ok the stagger begining of phase 2 was kinda swag
1:24 bro, that was absolutely crazy.
Deflecting Tear was a very interesting addition. I feel like it makes Malenia a much easier fight.
Really? Even though she still heals on deflect?
@@anderescobar4752 I mean healing a bit isn't a problem if she never hits you
@@VDA19 she heals even if you deflect the attacks but it doesn't matter since you outdamage her healing with any decent weapon
@@anderescobar4752 Guard counters do a lot of damage and stance damage, so although she could regen 3%, you will do 10% in return.
Thank you for the demonstration of parrying and general blocking. It was good to watch and learn!
I have no ideia how you overcome the intese frame drop. Mad respect.
Depois de Bloodborne vc meio que se se acostuma, é complicado mas vale apena❤
god i love this play style and drip so much.

The real power is the riposte guard counter, is a posture melting, giant hunt is just because is quick and effetive weapon art
Finished the game with a similar build. Giant Hunt was soooo good in this fight.
Thank you for inspiring me. Glad I can keep using my strength build and I have the stats. I just need better tools and skill 💪
Boa! To tentando aprender ele com a deflect hardtear mas tá complicado... A segunda fase com os ataques seguidos de holy tá difícil de pegar o timing.
Enjoyed the play style
This was awesome!

Beat him with lions claw and i was only deflecting (well, failing) his lion claw. Guts GS still goat...because of the block values 😂

Out of topic, but are you playing on a PS4 Pro?
I felt that this fight had too many fps drops, while I see yours and it's fine.
ps4 fat, and i have fps drops some times
Yeah, I get those too on the Pro. Less with Boost Mode tho
Giant dudu?
amazing
Fucking Shit.. This is Cinema!
Brabo
The stamina loss on ng+7 makes this not viable on the harder difficultys
even with the greatshield talisman?

How did you do guarding with out taking damage?
use high guard weapon + Deflecting Hardtear
2:45 what happen to his comet attack? did you block it?
I decided to take the first wave of impact, so I would fall with s and roll the last shockwave

I created this save a month before the dlc, it's not in ng+.

Watch my video. Same strategy, but much easier fight
Bro just play normal build lmao
A like a core playstyle
