Yes!! This is the build I was suggesting for PVP…(that poison bloom ash). That ash really closes the gap and it’s brutal.
With the DLC out what level do you recommend stopping at now to stay in the PVP scene?

I’ve been asking this question as well. I feel like a lot of builds I wanna try “asks” for more leveling. I’m currently 160 and pvp and pve has been plenty. I’ve been very hesitant to level up more.
Coil shield is kinda awesome. It does a nice chunck of damage, long range, applies deadly poison nearly instantly. Its just a nice way to put on a little bit more preassure
This is a unique take on an arcane build, props for that

I have the black whetblade and I still can't apply Blood infusion to the venomous fang. Am I doing something wrong when selecting the poison blooms twice ash?

@@trey_dizzle4161as someone who went to the DLC waaaaay too early getting as far through the main game as possible is going to make shadows feel a LOT less infuriating
@@Lupus_Intus yeah I dabbled a little into the DLC but I wanted to make a new build. I was so burnt out on battle mage that I'm making a tank now, so I need to finish up some of the end game first for items I'm level 150 right now
Same, i got to the dlc in about 30ish hours, level 100ish. Barely scratched the dlc, its quite hard at this point

I swear to God I figured out this build a few days ago and now I see this video... It's so strong...I tried so many weapons trying to get both the blood and the poison talismans to pop and the venomous fangs do it far more effortlessly than any other thing I tried because of the ratio of poison and bleed...just so strong...really love this ash of war too...it hits so hard and the movement is really nice too cause often the evade back will help you miss an attack that was incoming and then you just absolutely blast them with the kick...it's so good...

Can you use something besides claws and get similar results also wish they would give us some kind of assassin looking poison helmet because mushroom crown is pretty awful
I have a Faith/Arcane 50/50 split Poison/Rot build similar to this, with Dual bandits Curved Swords with Poison Mist. It spanked Mohg so hard in preparation for the DLC. I use the Mushroom Crown with Kindred of Rots Exhultation Talisman. I have several weapons with poison or rot and the damage is nuts. I use the Servant of Rot Incantations like Pest Threads, Scarlet Aeonioa, and Poison Mist. Takes a while to get going, but once you get there it's really strong
The venomous fang with the poison flower ash was how I did my last run through and it was a blast even with enemies immune like ghosts or the little stone imp bastards. Anyone on the fence, give it a try! Kept blood on for all but the final boss.
I'm thinking of making a bleed/ mage, or a frenzy/bleed/quality dragon build

I tried a poison rot build but it didn’t go very well gonna try this one out next
Having the ash makes all the difference. The main downside of poison is ultimately the tick damage can't really keep up with the burst of things like bleed or frost. The Ash detonating the poison changes that though
I've been considering this AoW and it is indeed pretty strong.
Tried using your build, but instead of Venomous Fangs I used the Bloodfiend Arm, since even after the nerf to Arcane scaling, it still has really high Poison build up when infused. 220+ at 60~ Arcane
You can insta poison most things with just one hit, especially with the R2 attack, which then you can follow up with the stinger kick AoW. It pairs nicely with the weapon since the arm can stagger most opponents opening them for follow ups, and can function as a gap closer for the slow weapon.
Damage wise it is probably lower than your Poison + Bleed setup, since mine only inflict Poison, but I can replace the Blood Exultation talisman for the Two Handed Talisman or something defensive/QoL instead.
See...the great part is the ash, even without the pop of damage from inflicting poison, is super good. Its AOE, it applies rot, does great damage and doesnt cost that much. And....if youre using danes foot work its a killer bee in the martial art kit. SICK AF

With Rune Level 200, I'm guessing starting class kind of doesn't really matter that much? I'm thinking of just going Wretch when I make my new character

Cowboy, this build would probably go INSANE with dual Antspur Rapiers! You could stack poison and rot at the same time and then Poison Flower them

Probably not the audience for this but… rider kick!
If ya'll watch Bleach you"ll know Miyazaki had to have got inspiration for Venomous Fang's skill "The Poison Flower Blooms Twice" from the Bleach character Soifon's Shikai "Suzumebachi" where she "stings" an enemy twice using the weapon and they die.
You have to put the ash on the weapon instead of it coming with it, mine came with quickstep

Spamming ryu's bicycle kick doesn't make a good build
L take. This is the first time a poison build has actually been viable and the ash is what makes it viable. Ash is decently hard to hit and requires build up. More skillful gameplay here than 90% of builds I see on youtube
