I would give CeraVe 8.5/10. Their products are truly the ones I go back to when I feel like I've damaged my skin barrier.

In the past, my face looked dull. However, I managed to achieve radiant skin, free from pimples and dark spots, by adopting these practices. -:
1. Drinking water at least 3 to 4 liters per day.
2. Having carrots or carrot juice daily.
3. Applying Littlextra Ricebery face wash daily. It's made from black rice water, which offers 10 times more benefits for the skin compared to normal white rice water.
4. Engaging in intense workouts at the gym and sweating heavily.
5. Performing facial steam or full-body steaming sessions every 18 days.
Not gonna lie, I've been using this riceberry face wash for the past 1 month, and on my sensitive skin, this is extremely good, non-drying, gentle face wash.
Since using rice berry face wash from two weeks now, it's clear that it is better than the hyped-up cetaphill.
Did sweating help you a lot? Cause people keep telling me to work out so I can sweat all the bacteria off but I’m scared that’s gonna make me break out even more if it ends up clogging my pores yk…?
@@abbygonzalez4443nooo! If you're gonna work out try to include salicylic acid in your cleanser! CeraVe has one. Think of salicylic acid as a sanitizer for your face. It's a mild exfoliant, so if you have sensitive skin, get it in a cleanser. If you don't, get it in a serum!
The sunscreen 😩 It felt way too thick and broke my skin into a rash after one use!

same it literally turned my face red like a tomato at school and it was so embarrassing. a few months later i used it and it still did the same thing.

That foaming cleanser has been my go to for years now. I’ve used their retinol serum as well in the evenings and have far less texture than I did two years ago. It wasn’t dramatic and quick but there is a difference. Just got the sunscreen stick to try for touch ups and I just pray it doesn’t throw me off

@@user43314 In my opinion, the foaming cleanser works for most skin types. I go dry and flaky in the winter and pool oil in the summer, and this balances me out. It’s gentle enough for my sensitive skin and recommend it to most people as I think it’s a good neutral option. Maybe test it on a weekend, and follow up with a good moisturizer ☺️

@@miss_gurl5395 I agree 100%, and more often than not avoid buying from companies or parent companies that do. Until I find a cruelty free alternative that works for me that I can afford, I’ll be using this and their retinol.

Thanks and my bad for not reading more carefully. I jumped to this conclusion because, unfortunate, Cetaphil is a brand that used to make fragrance-free products and they started adding fragrance to them, which is disappointing. Glad CeraVe isn't following their footsteps.@@RyanSmith-ob7lj

I am so happy you're speaking about the sunscreen. I was so pissed when I got a big bottle and realized that I had a white cast everytime I put it on.😭
I love CeraVe's sunscreen. I use the moisturizer, cleanser, and sunscreen and it doesnt leave a white cast for me. To each their own, i guess lol. CeraVe is my comfort brand!!!
It's 2023 and I'm still using the wipes. It's something about physically wiping off the day when I'm too drained to do anything else.

I absolutely love the Cream to Foam cleanser and the eye cream.
Same here but the eye cream in the blue and white tube. The purple and white is $$$ and does nothing special IMHO.
For me the oily skin cleanser has changed my life a lot it calms the face a lot and helps skin barrier and helps keep calm without breakouts. Helps with oil.

I freaking LOVE CeraVe. I have oily skin, dry skin, and normal skin. I have 3 cleansers from CeraVe for each skin type I have and they work so well! I also have the moisturizer cream which I absolutely love to use for my dry hands and skin! I have the night cream which I love as well!! I’d give the brand a 8.5 or 9 because it does it’s job, I don’t get much acne when I use the cleansers :))

You either have combination skin or you have normal skin that gets oily in the summer and dry in the winter.
the hydrating cleanser is sooo good
I love the cleanser in the green bottle and the blue bottle moisturizer it’s my favorite and also the circular blue cream for my body is great 👍🏽 just my recommendations
CeraVe is the only brand I’ve been using for 15+ years. I’ve branched out occasionally but I always end up going back. But you’re right - I can’t use their sunscreen because the white cast is too much 😂
Since I’m used to contouring and blush, white cast in sunscreen isn’t something I’m worried about.
It sucks for when you don’t plan to wear any cosmetic tho, hence why I bought a mineral sunscreen that doesn’t give white cast for when I don’t wanna wear make up.
I love the CeraVe hydrating cleanser, the moisturizing cream, the SPF 30, and the healing ointment.

Hon, that foaming facial cleanser (and believe me I have the oiliest of oily, acne prone skin), despite it's claims of preserving the skin's moisture barrier) consistently left my skin feeling tight and with that awful over stripped sheen).....but I totally agree with you about the PM facial moisturizing lotion....it's so moisturizing while not being heavy. And PS re: the makeup wipes: OUCH! OK, I know you can't simultaneously take off your makeup and cleanse effectively with a little wipe, but wipes are a long standing favorite that us makeup wearers still sometimes swear by (though admittedly micellar water on a cotton pad or better, cleansing balms like Versed's makeup melting balm with eucalyptus oil....can't remember the name, are better choices) to cleanup makeup smudges for cosmetic mess-ups or super hard to remove products like waterproof mascara or transfer resistant lipstick 💄) So I think you condemning makeup wipes in 2023 is a bit harsh....but love ya! Would love to see you do the best of La Roche Posay..

Sometimes I have to use makeup wipes when I’m at someone else’s house and the CeraVe ones were the only wipes that don’t irritate my skin
The reason they have products that specifically say p.m. is because they have certain medication that can mess with sensitive skin or anyone’s skin in sunlight
The reason that product says pm specifically is because their am moisturizer contains sunscreen which obviously shouldn’t be used at night. The pm moisturizer can be used any time of day.

I love their AM sunscreen & moisturizer 30spf I have used it religiously every morning and has done wonders for my face - I have dry to normal skin and also very pale so I see no overcast 😅

Hyram! I love the age defense spf 50! Im brown-skinned and theres no white cast for me 😊. I think they may have upgraded the formula or something. It’s my favorite sunscreen currently!(update) i lied… its the EUCERIN age defense that i use not the cerave smh 🤦🏾♀️)

Me personally I love the Cerave SPF 30 sunscreen but that’s my opinion it’s doesn’t really make my face all white and it’s nice for a base for my makeup❤😊

Used the pm moisturizer for a few years and after diving into much better skincare, I can say it did nothing for me in terms of moisture. It was so lightweight it did nothing. I have oily skin so I used to avoid anything that was too moisturizing, but the cerave pm did nothing. Even if you’re oily, your skin barrier still needs moisture!
Any recommendations?
I can personally say I use that tealish color cleanser and it truly works wonders I’ve had bad acne for so long and I just started using it and it’s finally going away

Cerave tests on animals so I don't support them anymore! However I do use their foaming cleanser since I've only used a quarter of the bottle

I use their eye cream and LOVE the cream to foam makeup removing cleanser. IT WORKS! Even removes waterproof mascara!
My fav cleave product is either the moisturizing lotion (makes your skin sooo smooth and hydrated) or the gentle facial cleanser. (I have eczema, a little on my face and it’s so gentle yet hydrating. + it makes acne VANISH. )

I have oily skin but the foaming cleanser is too drying for me. They have released a different type ‘cream to foam’ cleanser and it works much better for me. Highly recommend
To be honest the spf 50 would be great for at the beach use or if you’re going to be spending a lot of time outside doing yard work or something, but not really needed for everyday use!
In UAE we don’t have that many drugstore skin care options like in US we have few cerave products only cleansers and body lotions and they’re the most affordable (still high price point)but less comparing to other French i gave the cleansers and lotions a try and it was a success with my skin very gentle fragrance free with good skin ingredients
I really recommend the SA cleansing bar personally it helped me with texture and stuff but that’s just me I don’t know how it works on other people

Oh! I preached about oil cleansing to remove makeup for years. However, when you’re on vacation, or need makeup eraser for mistakes, or even a quick makeup remover after a night out, you need a makeup remover too. Don’t hate on it because it’s for emergencies and using it everyday vs a day or two won’t make a big difference. 😊

@@Hyram yeah. Also, I’ve used natural oils to clean my makeup like jojoba oil because I don’t have a reaction with it and it’s way cheaper than other oil cleansers.
I feel so so comforted by Cerave. No fragrances, no weird gimmicks, no irritating ingredients. I’m glad I’m an adult now and am not swayed by sparkly packaging anymore. It feels so good to actually have a steady routine with Cerave products. I’m sure the sunscreen and makeup wipes aren’t it, but the other products are all so incredibly solid that I’m shocked the rating is so low. For me it’s a 9/10.

the PM moisturizer and the foaming cleanser were both super irritating and ineffective for me :’( I have combination skin on the oilier side and I’ve tried using both of them for a while, but I’m just starting to give up on them
My fav way to use make up wipes are bringing them with me to Sephora because I swatch a lot of make up on my hand and use it to clean my make up products when the cap or the outer bottle is messy❤❤
I use the PM and Daily moisturizer and every other day I use their Resurfacing Retinol Serum on my forehead for those fine lines.
I use their hydrating cleanser and I love it as a dry skin girly!

I love their moisturizer. Don't get tubs tho if you have a super sensitive skin. Get tubs with pumps because they do have them, I think; where I'm from, at least.
Are use the foaming cleanser, and it has definitely take away most. My blackheads are used to run my hand along my face and just feel blackheads.
Facts i use that mosturizer and it’s sooo light and good ! I have oil combo skin and it’s amazing compared to other thick nasty creams
I've discovered that the mineral spf mixed in with the elf camo cc cream is perfect for my everyday foundation. On their own either one doesn't quite work for me.
As a goth who wants to look like Casper the friendly ghost I see this as an absolute win.
I have trouble finding products that I can use on my skin because of the chemicals used in them. I tend to use CeraVe as doesn’t hurt my skin as much so personally I would rate it a 9/10.

I love CeraVe but I definitely struggle with their sunscreens 😭 the white cast is definitely an issue but I'm also just pale enough that their tinted sunscreen was too dark for me and made me look like I was wearing a foundation that was a couple shades too dark
I love their products! I use Foaming cleanser every day and my skin feels great, and i have Hydrating cleanser and Moisturizing lotion (for some reason my skin is always sensitive after i have braces check up at dentist, maybe cuz of saliva or something) and these two are life savers in that situation!

The PM one sucks so bad. I used it and my skin started burning and it got red and itchy, but i do recommend the AM one.

I have oily skin watching your videos I bought CeraVe pm. It breaks me out. I get small bumps all over my face and white heads like something specially around my chin. Everything clears up immediately I stop using. I have expirimented several times to make sure CeraVe pm was the problem not any other thing.
I would give verve 1/10 bc it’s not very safe on ur skin if they test on animals but go for drunk elephant it’s cruelty free

The formulation for the AM spf moisturizer must be different in Europe. Mine doesn’t give me a white cast!

The roaming cleanser I’m sure is great for oily but I do have dry to normal skin and it made my skin a little bit red and some blemishes if you want a good one for normal to dry skin get hydrating facial cleanser by cera ve. It works great for me. Remember it’s so important to know your skin type lol

Pm moisturiser damaged my skin really really badly😭 I was new to skincare and decided to listen to you but my smooth skin is now filled with milia, and clogged pores. The salicylic cleanser from cerave is good tho
They have an acne wash with 4 percent BP . I only use it when im having a break out. It works and lasts so long. My everyday is the oil control face wash. Love it.
What abt the hydrating cleanser and moisturising lotion
The foaming facial cleanser made me break out in hives, it was so weird bc it described my skin on the packaging
I've tried every CeraVe SPF and I dislike them all, with the notable exception of the Ultra-Light, which I really like. All their other formulas are mineral or hybrid. I wish they'd make another organic formula in a larger package.

I’m a fan of CeraVe’s products but their mineral sunscreen absolutely SUCKS! Not only did it feel so thick and heavy, it left a white cast on even my pasty skin.
