I think way more people would like the ordinary’s aha/bha peel if they left it on their skin for less time. The directions say 10 minutes, but I leave it on for 4 or 5 minutes. I don’t have especially sensitive skin, but I see better results with that particular product with less time

For folks who have not tried Paula’s Choice BHA 2 percent (it’s available in gel form also) it is unbelievably effective. Because of what it did to my skin, 4 other coworkers tried it and they had the same results…it’s freakin’ magic. Now, some people can use it more frequently than other people. I can use it 4 times a week. People I know use it 3x max. once you have your tolerance level, you will love it.

For me, Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant is a pass. I wanted to like it so much and maybe I got a bad batch, but it felt weirdly greasy and sticky on my skin yet weirdly dried me out and I expected it to be hydrating due to Gothamista (I am dry and acne prone). It did work for the blackheads on my nose though. Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Water is a smash, so gentle and hydrating yet great for getting sunscreen off.

Ok so I wanna be a skincare girly and take care of my skin, I love the ritual and everything about it. I've been into skin care for about 8 years now, and have tried so many routines, and stuck with most of them for at least 6 months but literally EVERYTHING breaks me out. Once I give up and stop doing a routine my skin gets clear. Ive tried simple routines, extravagant ones like everything. If anyone else has this problem or has recommendations please please leave suggestions because at this point I've basically given up.

Exactly! I too never understood the hype behind Laneige Lip Mask, it just does not work or even moisturize. It's so bad every time I used it my lips get pale and dry. It's much better to use Vaseline instead of wasting money on laneige.

The ordinary aha/bha peel saved my skin. I have younger skin but suffer with sebaceous filaments specifically on my nose. I used this 2 days a week and man it made my skin so so soft and reduced texture on my skin. I used the Paula’s choice exfoliant and that exfoliate KILLED my sebaceous filaments

I deeply appreciate how you started me out on my skin care journey 3 years ago. But CeraVe, Paula’s Choice, and the Ordinary made my face so painfully dry, tight, irritated and itchy! The formulas also felt lackluster and uncomfortable on the skin. Everyone’s skin is different but I’m glad you helped me discovered other skincare influences that aren’t restricted by fragrance or chemical sunscreens, because it allowed me to find products that make me feel hydrated, safe and luxurious.
I’m happy to announce that I’ve found my repeat skincare ride or die products and my painful acne and scars have vanish. Although I don’t consume your content anymore or agree with all your mythos, you really taught me so many amazing things that help me make informed skincare and consumer decisions.

Hey Hyram! Love your videos, they’ve helped my skincare routine become so much better and affordable too 😍 I’d love to see you review Dr. Dans Cortibalm lip balm (it’s my holy grail), and the Elta MD sunscreen! As a normal to dry skin lady leaning more dry, that CeraVe hydrating green bottle is awful for me. Made my skin even drier. I can't use a lot of the gel moisturizer either, like the popular Neutrogena HydroBoost . I have no idea what the issue with them is, but they just sit on top of my skin and will not absorb at all.
