Hi Sam. Yes I posted on a different video on the channel. The rust was actually on the trim piece. They removed and replaced it. I guess thats been happening to other owners as well. I was told to keep an eye on it. As far as the hood they said that the off black color was rust protection and that it was normal. 🤷🏼

Small correction. There is no "owners manual" in the glove compartment. The detailed owners manual is, as you described in the settings area.
