    followed your step by step for my cakes, used a little less sugar and did not blend my fruits all way since we like a little bite to them. Let’s just say oh weeee I’m happy to have found this recipe and directions . For my first time making fruit cake I was so intimidated but this came out perfect. Thank you thank you.

    Althea right up my alley. Thank you for uploading. I too normally make mine this way. Eggless as I do not eat eggs. Sometimes I use applesauce.

    • @Metemgee
      @Metemgee  2 роки тому +2

      The pureed fruits take the place of applesauce in this case and act as a binder. It was so delicious I didn't miss the eggs.

    When you blend your fruit, are you putting only the fruit in the blender and avoiding the port/rum that the fruit is soaking in?

    Why you add rum in the batter before bake ? I guess it makes it moist
