Depende siguro sa lifestyle ng tao. For example kami, inalis na namin sa diet LAHAT ng may added sugar at lahat ng processed foods and drinks. Kaya ung $150 per week ay sobra sobra pa.

When it comes to electricity one must consider the amount of usage in the Philippines as compared to other nations. Here in the states we pay more for electricity each month as a result of using a lot more electricity. The rate per kilowatt hour in the Philippines is quite high from what I have been able to gather. If you are using electricity for lights and hardly anything else in the Philippines you will not pay much each month. This is how I understand things although I have not yet moved to the Philippines.

last time i was in the philippines (2022) grocery prices in denmark was relatively cheaper (except for beef) than in the philippines. so i'm not surprised that prices have gone up. and i think it's crazy especially when comparing prices with a country known for having high cost of living 😢

It’s gonna be very long if I explain it in here, but to give you an idea. Let’s consider and compare the salary or wages per hour daily in PH vs NL in PH the minimum salary is 500-600 or €10 for 8hrs of work daily. So you see it’s very small that’s why most Filipino’s wants to work abroad.

Salamat po! Yes, for sure salaries are much lower in the Philippines so if certain costs are the same then in reality it must be much higher for Filipino’s living in the Philippines because of the ratio to their income. Thank you for sharing! I hope to learn more about it over time…
