Thank you for taking the time to show us what a typical family of 5 cost of living. It is a great example of true costs of a family living in a house with mortgage. It was very insightful and appreciated!!! Keep up the good work that you do.
Thank you for watching :D
Thank you for sharing this video with us. Extremely valuable information for people planning to move to that area.
You're welcome Ron. Happy to help.
Thanks for the honesty. 65 thousand U.S. dollars a year should be extremely comfortable
65grand a year is living like a king here in PH.
This was a good video 😎 very informative keep these videos coming
Salamat 😀

@@BCG6963 thank you also for watching and happy to help.
@@cebuano101 i am going to be volunteering in Cebu for a few months in early 2024, any advice on short term rentals would be appreciated.
It's so much up to everything what is enough, like the lifestyle. Im doing great with that 30 000 peso in a month with my wife, but thenagain we live free with her family and pay only our share of electricity, food, and some other small costs. I'm unemployed foreigner but my wife's siblings are making money as OFW's in Australia and they just built this new big home here in Cebu province where we have lived.
There's people (with kids) earning 250 pesos in a day and surviving, no need to be a bourgeois to enjoy the nature and atmosphere of The Philippines
Good for you Sir. Enjoy life in the province. I'd like to have a home away from the city when I retire. 😊
Thank you very much for this rbeakdown.
My pleasure ug salamat sa pagtan-aw Sir Oliver :)
Thank you for the breakdown
You're welcome and thank you also for watching.
Where it's tempting to be an expat from the US is that exchange rate. We make a killing on that. Hope you're doing well, maestra. You are so adorable.
Hi Donald, I agree. Even to Overseas Filipino Workers it's the exhange rate that's very enticing. Hope you're ok too Donald
@@cebuano101 Ahhh, yes. I didn't consider that. Interesting. So, if you work in Singapore, for example, and live and pay your bills in PH, you get a favorable exchange rate?
@11dtucker41 Yes Donald. The not so good side of it is we're away from our family which is like a torture for us Filipinos.
Has cost changed a lot since 2023?
Yes.😆
@@cebuano101 would you say groceries are about 30% more expensive?
@@AbuAtiya Our grocery budget have increased from 18k to 25k. This is mainly because of our lifestyle. I can say that the prices have gone up here in PH but up to how much I can't say that it's 30 percent. For example: the porkbelly where I usually buy was 305 now have increased to 320.
@@cebuano101 Thank you so much.
Well, who can live without Netflix? Lol. And by all means, if you can buy prepared meals for roughly the same amount as buying groceries, cooking and cleaning, go for it! Much better lifestyle.
LOL. It's my escape sometimes. Salamat Donald.
