Excellent reaction! You guys are one of the few reactors who pick up that Jesse died. Most people don't catch it that Tom's first child is buried next to Grandpa. AND pick up that Brand is breathing air at the end!!! Such great attention to detail!!

That tender interaction when they returned back to the ship after 23 years is one of the most emotional things I've ever experienced in a film, trying to grasp what that man went thru, waiting every moment of everyday for them to return not knowing if they were still alive, utterly isolated and without human contact for that long... WHOA.

by far my favorite Christopher Nolan film.
The music does not just pair well with the images, but it is one of the only films I have seen where the music is as integral to the film as all the other elements.
I never fail to get emotional watching this film--I feel a full range of emotions, and everytime I watch. Most films you see once or twice, feel the emotional impact and then when you see it again and again, you just don't feel as strongly as you did the first time. This might be the one film where I feel more everytime.
If y'all have not read The Forever War by Joe Haldeman (I read it via audiobook, but typically about 280 pages,) or Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions by Edwin Abbott Abbott, (only about 80-100 pages, depending on the edition,) I highly recommend checking them out.

Yes, people can and do forget films that they've seen long ago - even great films like "Interstellar". I've watched many reactions to this film, and several reactors have said that they watched it long ago, when they were younger and not into serious films.
When you're a disinterested teenager, you tend to blow off serious dramas.
Ten years later, you've matured, and the same film can blow you away. It's perfectly understandable.

Just speculating - this film could be a metaphor for where the mother died, the father has a strong bond with his daughter. (1) But he chooses to abandon the family to chase after a new woman. (2) For years the daughter is angry and upset believing the father will come back like he promised. (3) The daughter accepts the father is not coming back. (4) The father gets into a fight, is critically injured and dies. (5) the daughter recognises the importance of the time she had with her father, moves on, and has a family. (5) Cose to death, the daughter forgives her father (his ghost).

Amazing reaction! Just to let you know that the data Cooper sent to his doughier was the thing needed to reconcile relativity with quantum mechanics (The thing most scientist are currently working on) That is not something that would make us 5 dimensional beings but would be a huge progress for humanity and would enable us to safely and easily colonize space. With the advancements of that knowledge Murph was able to get the entire human population in space which is something currently impossible because the best we currently have is the rocket equation and in that scenario more than 95% of the rocket needs to be fuel meaning that for a very expensive launch only a handful of people can leave at a time.

One thing most people miss is that Dr. Brand (Anne Hathaway) was actually correct in originally wanting to go to Edmund's planet over Dr. Mann's (Matt Damon) planet. But, since she was in love with Edmund, that ended up "disqualifying" her opinion. However, it turns out that it was actually love that was drawing her to the truth that Edmund's planet was the correct one. As became the clear theme of the movie, love is one of the only things that can cross dimensions. This was shown with Cooper's love for Murph, and Brand's love for Edmund (which most people fail to recognize because they're focused on Cooper and Murph).

Guys loved your John wick reactions. If you haven’t seen them then I can’t recommend enough for you to react to the raid movies. Raid and the raid two. It has some of the actors that ended up in one of the John wick movies. They make the John wick movies look like Mary poppins

Interstellar somehow does feel like a first time each time for some loopy time reason! I'm wondering now if you've seen Contact and might react to it!

The best movie I've ever seen! And your reaction made it feel like the first time I watched it. You should definitely google all the lore around this movie and it's making. The film was so scientifically accurate that it led to actual scientific discoveries around black holes and how they would appear.

Amazing! Thank you so glad you enjoyed it! It really is astounding the level of knowledge of scientific concepts required to even produce this script, let alone bring it to life.

It is a wonder, how we were able to survive the radiation once we were outside the magnetosphere of our planet, especially when they were playing golf on the moon.
