  • Get your hazmat endorsement on your CDL if your coming to work in the oilfield! Big money for CDL Truck drivers who have their hazmat endorsement! Don’t miss out, a lot of companies are paying over $30 an hour to haul hazmat in the oilfield.
This could be hauling oil, CNG, Acid, or even just diesel to hydraulic fracturing sites. This is definitely something you want to consider when trucking out in the oilfield.

I got a hazmat 2 years ago in Florida. There are plenty of online free courses and also you can get book at the local library to study from. This for CDL-A endorsements in general.
Then you take the test, pass and the DMV will fingerprint you. Then wait 6 weeks about, and if background checks out you get the hazmat on your CDL-A
    In Florida cost is $125.00

In West Virginia if you’ve had Haz-Mat in the past, no course is required before taking endorsement test. Not sure if it’s like that in other states. I haul condensate oil at $35.00 an hour and OT after 40 hours.
